im australian Lamb is pretty much our national meat, I love to marinate Lamb chops in garlic, lemon juice, rosemary, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Try it, you wont regret it.

Pho Hang, Dongdaemun exit 3. As a Vietnamese person I can vouch for this spot. Owned by Vietnamese, run by Vietnamese and catered to Vietnamese. No Korean ban chan, No Korean flavors, No Korean people, heck the servers hardly speak Korean. It's the place all Vietnamese immigrants go to in Seoul, some Vietnamese cafe's around there too.
Meh…I think Koreans need to stay away from making PHO. Hard pass. Mikey didn’t look impressed either, he was trying to find kind words to say. Koreans should stick to their “show cuisine” like cheesy pork rice cakes with a blowtorch full of red gochujang paste boiled to death in the middle of the table. My partner is Vietnamese and he isn’t impressed by their interpretation of Viet cuisine. But glad to read there are some authentic places, staying away from Pineapple blowtorched. 😂
Well damn!!!! That meal you had at the end made me drool so much!! Koreans really do know how to enjoy their food!!!!!!! How I wish I can go there again.. I really miss the food scene in Korea..
😊I don't take beef but the pho (with the intestines) and the strawberry cake looks nice. Love the part where you brought us to YANGGOOD/ 羊國. Lamb rack, lamb shanks, lamb grilled skewers... that was a lot of mutton! All grilled and blow-torched to perfection by the service staff. You just waited to be served. Can see that you really enjoyed the meal (with no time limit of course).👍🏻

What sucks about living in NY is that every Korean restaurant became a bbq place and stopped serving many other dishes. They cater to American people and is turning into Italian and Chinese restaurants that changed their menus to cater to American people. It's hard to even find basic entrees such as dduk guk which Koreans eat on New Years or even miyuk guk (seaweed soup) which Koreans eat on their birthday. What will end up happening is just like what happened to Italian and Chinese restaurants where the food in Italy and China tastes so much better than in America and the normal food in Italy and China will become very expensive restaurants in America. The Japanese are doing it right and not compromising original Japanese food, but also creating all these rolls for Americans. By the way, all these rolls that most Americans eat isn't made it Japan and isn't even sushi. These are creations made specifically for Americans. Sushi contains raw fish, not all this cooked stuff inside rolls and is in the form when you order a sushi platter. If people like rolls, they should try Korean kimbap. It's like a Japanese rolls, but is made with different ingredients. And I can tell you, no Korean will call kimbap as sushi as it contains no raw fish.
I’m so craving pho right now. I have never seen those egg dishes before and they look fabulous!! Maybe some chefs will start making that in the states somewhere. Thanks so much for sharing all the sights and delights!

Try a place called "Moo Tan." They are famous for their Jajangmyeon. They are bit expensive but I heard the quality is really good.
