East German divisions rank quite low now overall, mostly due to overpriced T-72s. Maybe devs should lower prices for T-72s in order to make them spammable vs good heavies. Thanks for the overview.
Yeah, the range decrease with the armor buff and keeping the same prices did not benefit the T-72. I hope they reduce the prices/add more availability personally. Atleast 4 per card mid vet for the M...
@@tmanplays69 and even no reason for the range decrease. The DT-81M gun of T-72M and M1, which were basically T-72 A, the 1979 mod, had 3km effective firing range with HEAT and APFSDS rounds.

thanks, a lot man, having played a ton of wargame back in the day and pretty good at Steel division 2 I finally jumped on this since it seems like early access is almost complete, but you know it's just familiar enough to sd, and wargame that I feel like I know what I'm doing but actually I don't and every game I was just getting wrecked haha. This has brought me up to speed on alot of units/ traits and why people bring certain units, so much appreciated!
For 82nd, it lacks a solid tank, the inf is good but nowhere near 35th level. Lacks a spetznaz equivalent basically and 35th inf is just more versatile with how you can build the deck. For 82nd you have to rely alot around your inf play and that makes it extremely difficult to push across open ground. 35th has the IFV’s/heavy tanks to be able to make those pushes. While 82nd does have better AA, you just don’t have the offensive capabilities that 35th offers in comparison and you have to play a much more defensive game or a game revolved around smoke play.
@@tmanplays69 82nd is airborne, so primarily role is to hold the ground before other divisions comes through, its best for conquest provided the rest of the team has proper co-ordination with less quitters out of panic😂
Who do u think have the best infantry in the game? Imo its the East german. Great vet curve on infantry. Resolute trait on most units. Falls, Wachschutzen, KDA are some of the best and all trade well against NATO
In terms of the faction inf, it would definately be East German inf overall... However, if I were to pick some favorites for each it would be something like... Legionnaire paras for France, Fernspaher for West Germany, Wachshutzen/fs-jager metis for East Germany, Spetznaz for Soviets, and Mech-rifles for U.S.
Without going into too much detail (there are tables for damage depending on armor value/penetration) - with HEAT weapons you need 14 more penetration than the target's armour to deal 10 damage, meaning 1 hit kill for most targets (excluding 12 hp ERA tanks). So 16 AP vs 2 AV - one shot kill, 17 AP vs 3 AV (mentioned as Metis vs Bradley) - one shot kill, and so on

1AD and 7th are almost polar opposite med tank divs. 1AD has trash support but amazing tanks and 7th has solid support but meh tanks. Medium tanks currently are meh anyway unless the enemy is bad and drip feeds you tanks
I find it funny that even though i am a new player. I kind of look through the units exactly how you are. more ammo and accuracy on aa, hp and damage on troops. etc etc... but yet some brainless people made a website called waryes. Just to steal peoples decks they played against. I love how they cannot think for themselves, and have to steal other peoples ideas just to even be viable. Practically none of the waryes founders are in the top 500 of the game lmfao.

After quite a number of gameplay, I think from NATO 82nd is the best for conquest for early zone capture

82nd is currently the strongest division in the game while I have VDV still fairly strong around top 4 or 5
