Sending you prayers 🙏🏼, peace & blessings. Cannot imagine what you’re going through. I’m glad you have each other to lean on. Thank you for update. ♥️🥰 HUGS!
Sending you guys love and prayers. I am having a hysterectomy July 7. I have been looking at fasting for health benefits for cancer and during chemo. Thanks for the update ive been thinking about you since the last video.
Also look up a supplement called moringa oliveria you can get it online. I get a brand called fresh and it's very reasonable. It is loaded with the antioxidants to fight cancer vitamin c vitamin A vitamin e and b vitamins amino acids. It has helped me greatly. I highly recommend it to everyone.
My brother was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma of the colon 14+ years ago. They knew very little about it as it is a rare cancer. He went through surgeries, chemo, and radiation. 14 years later and he is doing extremely well and remains cancer free! 🙌🏻 It is possible to beat it! You are young and healthy and that will go a long way in your battle. Hugs and prayers!! 💕🙏🏻💕
My dad had a neuroendocrine tumor 22 years ago, but I don't know exactly what kind it was. We called it pancreatic cancer, but the "good kind" because it's slow growing. He had a Whipple procedure that lasted over 8 hours. As far as that cancer was concerned, he was fine until about 7 years ago they detected it again. But they haven't treated it and are monitoring it. So my dad has done pretty well over the years. But I guess there are different types of neuroendocrine cancers, some more aggressive than others. I don't know, I don't want to google it.
That's good news! Do you know what, as I read your lines and the update from our lovely krocks tears came into my eyes. I wish your family, your brother the best. Maybe it would be good to explain what your brother did to support his healing and how or where he has been treated. Warm regards from Vienna/Austria.
@@leonieharry2941 We live in northeast Ohio. We are lucky that we have great hospitals in our backyard. (Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital are just 2 within an hours drive away.) My brother was treated with very aggressive chemo at the Cleveland Clinic. He also had radiation. He also incorporated a clean diet and natural supplements. He practiced yoga and continued to exercise when he was able. He was definitely one of the lucky ones!💙
She doesn't want Ur prays she wants Ur money .. I honestly detested these type of ppl .. probably doesn't even have cancer but even if she does how does it mean it's ok to try and get money from ppl ..
@@ancienttways oh she has cancer because the “vaccine” causes cancer and she promoted the jab on her channel - not her business and not her expertise but she had nerve enough to tell people to get it - Watch the cancer cases explode. I think they are genuine until they got hooked up with the Mayo. She asked ‘why me” the answer: because she took the poison prick.
I will never forget the day that my son’s two oncologists came into his room and said, your son has cancer. It is rare and it is bad. There was only 1 known treatment protocol at that time. After that, everything was experimental. He was 2 years old at diagnosis. He is 17 now and has been completely cancer free for 14 years. Stay strong. Stay positive. There is hope after a cancer diagnosis. Ask for help when you need it. You can beat this. Miracles happen every day!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
About 15 years ago my then-middle aged step sister seemed to have bronchitis. She coughed a lot and couldn’t seem to shake it. She went to the ER one day because she was having trouble breathing. They took a chest X-ray and told her they didn’t see anything, that she was okay. A few days later she was still having problems and they told her again that nothing was wrong. She insisted on a CT scan of her lungs. They discovered she had several tumors in her lungs which turned out to be lung cancer. It had even spread to a few lymph nodes. She saw the oncologist and he told her that she didn’t have long to live, they couldn’t treat it and to go home and enjoy the little bit of time she had left. She sought the opinion of a cancer treatment center and was given hope. She had chemo and radiation and surgery to remove the lymph nodes. She COMPLETELY kicked cancer ass!!! This was about 15 years ago and she has remained cancer free!!! I know a quite a few people that have gotten rid of their cancer… I only mention my step sisters case because she was given such a poor prognosis but defied the odds!! Never give up hope!!!! And above all else continue to laugh and find joy in all things and keep a good attitude. Hang in there y’all!!! 💗💗💗
Always know anything is possible -anything! 14 years ago, I was estimated to be only the 28th person in the world to be diagnosed with a very type of peritoneal cancer. My oncologist at that time said I had 2 years to “get my life in order,” etc. I changed my entire diet - became vegan -and also found a superb supportive therapist. Each day is truly a gift. 14 years later … I’m doing very well and living a normal life. My oncologist remains thrilled and surprised! Anything is possible. Anything. All the best to you, to you both. Kathleen
NY sister in law lived 25 years after her kidney cancer, she gad a great attitude. Lived a full life, however she chased that cancer throughout her body always catching it, until her body grew tired and it got her
Wow, when you just used the phrase “flying Colors” it reminded me of my best friend. At 32, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. It had spread all over. She wasn’t given a lot of hope. It was in her colon, bladder, and other places. Then, she went to a special clinic in Atlanta, Ga, who treated her with surgery, natural foods, juicing, and a small amount of chemo. She didn’t even lose her hair. As she went into surgery, her husband told her she was going to come through with “flying colors.” When she woke up, she had! She was already a daycare owner, but a few months later, she opened up another one, and called it Flying Colors.” She is now 56, and living her best life with her kids and grandkids:) I have a really good feeling about you! And I will be praying my rosary for you! God is a healer!
I’m a stage 3 cancer survivor. A supportive spouse will help you so much and I can tell you have a wonderful partner by your side! Prayers for you as you begin the healing journey!
I work for a non profit cancer organization where I teach meditation and visualization to cancer patients and their families. Doctor's now are sending their patients to us because they finally have been shown, through studies and advanced imaging that the mind plays an important role in a patient's recovery and healing from major diseases. I wish you all the best. Settle your mind as much as possible.Practice! With practice it becomes easier and easier and remember, 80% of what we worry about never happens. All my love to both of you!!!!
Nothing but love and well wishes! My wife also had stage 3 OC back in 2012. After surgery and chemo, she is doing fine now 10 years later. As a caregiver, I personally know it is so important to not only be strong for your spouse, but to also try to take a deep breath and stay positive. Hugs and prayers to the both of you! Stay strong, you have a huge support system!
I am so so sorry you have to walk this path. I see your faith getting stronger. You also are filled with HOPE. That is something the enemy can't deal with. Thankful that your supporters are there for you in all sorts of ways. The money is one thing and that just shows how much they love you guys....but the prayers are what is important. Hallelujah. God wants us to come to Him with our deepest needs. Especially to trust him. He loves us all so much. Proverbs 3;5 - 6 has been my life verses with my two cancer surgeries and my husbands two cancer surgeries. God desires us to live close to him. He uses everything g that happens to us to draw us to himself. John 3:16. Sorry I'm preaching. 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️😇😇😇 🥰 Bev in MO
Thank you for sharing! I was recently diagnosed stg 3 OC and I just finished chemo. My husband was my caregiver and he’s what keeps me going. Your story gives me hope🙏
I had a neuroendocrine tumor in my small intestine two years ago. Was treated in Rochester where they have neuroendocrine cancer specialists. They will take good care of you! 🙏🏻
When I got my cancer diagnosis I ignored all of the good news about cancer. It's natural to think about the worst cancer stories you've ever heard. I've been cancer free since 1992.
@ Sensible Crime. Thank you. I’d thought something was off about me, family would get angry for not staying positive with happy thoughts. It’s a journey. ✨💖✨
Brian! Thank you for being such a supportive husband and taking so good care of Jessica! Stay strong man! We are here to support you! Sorry for having neglected you thus far! 💪🫶🏻
Jessica, I am praying for you. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in April 2021. When you first hear the word cancer it is such a shock. To get past the mental paralysis and depression I had to remind myself everyday "I am here now." In December the right side of my transverse colon was removed using DaVinci. I only have one kidney, two autoimmune diseases, and had to lose over 100 pounds before they would even do surgery (lots of obstacles). I say this because my case was also complicated and very serious. I just had my 6-month follow-up and am doing well. You are young and strong, and you have the right mindset. I have complete faith that you will do well with all surgeries and treatments that might be in your future. You can do this girl! You will beat it! You are strong and you have an amazing husband for support. Though we don't know each other I am thinking of you and sending you love and healing energy every day. God bless you.
YOU WILL FIGHT THIS!!! 💪🙏🏼 Stay strong Jessica! My sister had pancreatitis at 30. Super young because a gallbladder getting stuck. Her lung collapsed, her veins collapsed. Only 5% people survive it! She did with no issues because she was / is young. She is a vegan now! You too will pull through! ❤️
@@Julie-pb7fe she just came from her checkup my sister and her cholesterol is perfect so she told us it really must be food related. Again, some people like Germans and Irish can be healthy on a very fatty and meat full diet, depends on genetics. She was very skinny at some point and still had very high cholesterol, she is much heavier now but no cholesterol, we are gathering it is due to vegan diet. Doctor gave her vegan vitamins though: iron, D and B12
Praying for you. Have 4th stage metastasis of breast cancer in my lymph system. Have had surgery, radiation and infusions. Doing well now with a good prognosis. Not cured but learning to live with the disease. God is in control, trust in him and He will give you peace even in the hard times.
I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas 3 years ago at the age of 64.. It was an incidental finding after removing 2/3 of my pancreas for a large pre cancer cyst. My lymph nodes were clear. Praying for you! Stay positive and strong!🌸💐
Eamon and Bec have a TH-cam channel. She has stage 4 breast cancer…she’s 32. She went through her egg retrieval. Completed her chemo. Next steps are being determined in terms of radiology…surgery etc. Sharing your journey will help so many people so we thank you Jessica and Brian. You are going to come through this Jessica and Brian. We love you both❤️
I am fighting cancer and I haven’t had to go through everything you will be going through. My cost for my one surgery has been over 100k.. you will probably need way more than $30,000.. my bills are outrageous and overwhelming. And I thought I had good insurance.. 🥺 you got this.. we both will win this cancer crap 💩
You must remain ready to do battle with your insurance company. Many companies simply reject each claim and you may well need to keep pushing, through the appeals process, and insist that the insurance honors their policy terms. If your insurance is through work, you may need to get your HR person involved.
With everything that a person with cancer is going through, to have to fight with insurance companies and obtain and send in paperwork is absolutely outrageous
I was stage 2c or 3 (depends on dr) ovarian cancer at age 35. I’m cancer free 20 yrs at Christmas time. YOU GOT THIS. Attitude is major. Exercise and good diet as well. But I have faith that your going to be ok. It can be a rough road but you strong. Just try and find a dr you connect with on every level and who listens and hears you. If one is not clicking move to the next. It’s as important as treatment. 🙏🏻❤️
I know you don't want to her this, Jessica, but I have had medical crises in my life and when I've said, "Why me?", my dad would say "Why NOT you?". It seems harsh but it immediately gets rid of the self-pity. It helped.
I have survived cancer twice with two different types as well. I totally understand what you’re going through. My first cancer I was 26. I’m 55 now. My advice is NO SUGAR! I know it sounds basic but sugar feeds all cancers. Change your diet, stay active, feed your soul with the Word! I will keep you in my prayers!
@scrapper900. And absolutely NO COVID jabs!!!! People are not listening it's causing rapid growing cancers of all types. I'm an RN, it's information that's being surpressed.
@@danacaro-herman3530 I dont have the C word but I have always heard that sugar feed it and have wondered about the sugars in fruit. Thank you for the answer!
Jessica and Brian: You are in our prayers, I know that you’re feeling the love of all your viewers. It’s an overwhelming life right now, so everything from this point is baby steps. And each baby step is a victory for the day. Place all your trust in God to guide both of you. You are loved! ❤️❤️❤️
You just popped up in my feed for the first time so I listened to your story. My heart hurts for you because I know how scary this is.I became symptomatic around 40.I went from doctor to doctor and they all refused testing saying it was menopause. My boss confided to me that she had ovarian cancer as a teenager and told me to insist they do an ablation. They didn't want to but did it.There was a polyp that crumbled when they tried to take it out in one piece. It was cancer.I was angry that it wasn't dealt with years earlier, but thankful it was gone after a complete hysterectomy. That was 2007.I'm in Pittsburgh and was at Magee Women's hospital. We also have Hillmans Cancer Center that does experimental treatments. Your husband is such a sweet, calming presence. I will be keeping both of you in my prayers.Cancer treatment has made great advances.
Am in your circle of support here in Philly. I want to share with you that my dearest friend had a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis in 2018 and was given 6 months and is here, kicking ass, and there is no sign of the cancer (which was metastasized!). She attributes much of this to being held by so many people in light and Love coupled with guidance for treatments, and ... drumroll - going plant-based! Sending Healing Vibes!!!!!
I know that Jessica received some blood when she was in the hospital and it made her feel better. Maybe some of us might consider donating blood to help others in our local areas.
Jessica, remember you're young and healthy except for some wonky cells. It's going to be an adventure for a while with ups and downs but eventually you'll get off the roller coaster! Sending prayers and love to you both!
So glad you're able to go to Mayo in Rochester! They are wonderful! My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer one year ago and he's been treated there. Through their expertise, he's been in remission for the past 8 months and his numbers and scans continue to look great. Mayo is at the top of their game with cancer research and treatments. We've been told that the advancements in the past few years are nothing short of remarkable. Everyone at the clinic and hospital is so accommodating and caring, as well as incredibly efficient. We live just two hours away, so haven't had to spend the night too often. There are many hotels connected to the clinic- we stayed at the Towne Place Suites just a few blocks away- I highly recommend them. Shuttle service provided. Check with your insurance company about cancer patient resources. You can often get mileage and hotel reimbursements as we did. My very best wishes to you both- I know exactly what you're going through, the sheer terror and uncertainty of it all. Know that Mayo has your back!
Do you know which insurances cover that ? I have been going to Mayo Clinic for a neuroendocrine tumor for the past 3 yrs. They are great at Mayo Rochester.
@@ftmrivas3043 My husband has health insurance through United Health Care. Everything has been covered so far, except for small copays and deductible. I know they accept all the major carriers, such as BCBS, which I have as a Medicare supplement.
Having worked as a secretary in an outpatient oncology clinic as well as an inpatient oncology unit, I know that the diagnosis can be very overwhelming. It's a lot to process. Just take it one day at a time. Smile at the small stuff, laugh when you can and it's totally okay to be emotional! That's normal. I hope Brian, as Jessica's main caregiver and support, that you also take time for yourself. It will be an emotional process for you as well. It's okay to be emotional and have days where you're frustrated/upset etc.. Don't be afraid to ask for help because caregiver burnout does happen. Much love and keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for trusting us (your fans/subscribers) by keeping us in the loop. Jessica, you are the same age as my middle daughter who also has a complicated cancer story and I pray for you and your family knowing what a tough time this can be. Having the support of a loving husband and family makes all the difference in going through this. I am so glad you’ve been able to get some pain and nausea relief from the stent. 😘🙏
I had this at 25 starting in my Uterus. I had 5 surgeries in 4 years. Thankfully no chemo or radiation. Definitely opt to have as much done surgically as possible at one time. They didn't do that for me because they didn't want to throw me into early menopause. It was a nightmare of major surgeries. Sending prayers your way.
God is so good. I'm so happy to hear things are getting better. I just did a Ovarian Cancer motorcycle ride today which we do yearly with almost 300 bikes. It's a great organization. It would be such a blessing to this group if you happen to have any funds left over. They would appreciate any denomination. Thank you
Jessica and Brian, you are both facing this diagnosis with dignity and grace. I can’t imagine how overwhelming and scaring this must be. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s going to touch peoples lives in ways you can’t even fathom. @Jessica, I loved the short haircut on you, and you are still beautiful without hair. Have fun rocking those cute hats, they looked fantastic on you! Love of love and prayers headed your way.
I was also diagnosed with a fairly rare type of cancer. I had my gallbladder removed in February and there was a cancerous tumor. I was the 5th case my surgeon had seen in 30 years of surgery! I was only stage 1 but a month ago I had to have a liver resection as a precaution. Oncologist appointment next week. Good luck to you and prayers for good outcome.
How amazing that you started a whole plant food weight loss TH-cam channel to help people, and that your generosity and just exceptionally kind and real approach has ended up helping you back in this most unexpected way. Go Team Krock!
My mom was just recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It’s been a crazy ride. There’s an amazing Facebook support group with tons of amazing women and help. I stumbled upon your last video and here for the updates. Praying for you
Hi Jessica and Brian! I’ve never been one to post but I have been following you for years and have just related to your journey so much. I’ve been praying for you since I heard about your diagnosis and now I feel like we have one more similarity. I, too, had a neuroendocrine cancer but mine was pancreatic, when I was 36 years old, as well. That was 12 years ago and I have been working on making myself healthy ever since. I only learned about WFPB about 3 years ago thru Mastering Diabetes as that was one of my long term side effect of my cancer. I already had my daughter and she was only 7 at the time, so I had to survive to raise her as a single Mom. I don’t envy the fertility treatments, but no matter what happens, this is your journey and just do your best to keep a positive attitude and know how loved you are: by your family, your friends, your viewers but also by God. He’s watching out for you - as you had symptoms, as I did. Ovarian and pancreatic cancers are often found too late as you don’t always have any signs until it’s spread, so I believe that God has great plans for you! Lean on each other, on your family and friends. Some days are going to be hard and scary. You are very firmly in God’s hands and he is guiding you where you need to be and who you need to be with. Try to find peace and take care of yourselves! Much love, Katie McDaris Marks, Spokane, WA
When I heard you say “ you were going to kick ass” that put a smile on my face because that is the attitude you need. At 47 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a year later I had to have a full hysterectomy because I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Thru my diagnosis I found attitude was so important. I will being praying for you! Sending hugs from the west coast. 💜
Bless your hearts I have been in the cancer battle. I was so blessed to have a wonderful team of doctors that got me through it, but the real praise goes to Lord he saw me through and I have been cancer free for 7 yrs. I know he will see you through this. Remember Jesus told so many people "your faith has made you whole" have faith .🤗👃💜
Hey Jessica and Brian, I just got finished watching your Live tonight. You two are amazing and inspiring. I told my personal trainer about you two because he encourages his clients to eat a plant based diet. I sent him the video where you were celebrating losing over 300 lbs and he thought that was awesome. I did IVF to have my son and it was pricey and not easy but it was worth it. I had to lose 30 to 40 lbs before i could start IVF. My trainer helped me get there in 3 months. You are a beautiful couple and i know God is with you both! You are both in my prayers❤️
Getting the stent is a BIG BIG win. I am so happy for THAT! You two are amazing heros in all this journey. We are sending FIERCE prayers and healing vibes every day. We are walking with you every day even though we will never meet!
I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer and awaiting treatment. Glad to have found you for some inspiration and to support each other x Love from England x
Brian, make sure you take care of yourself too. You're clearly a rock for your family. Remember it's okay and vital to find places where you can let yourself crack (as Leonard Cohen said, "there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.") You guys are both fantastic humans, that's why you have so many people who want to find a way to support y'all.
When you had your surgery and said you had cancer, my first thought was neuroendocrine cancer. I've followed a young man in England who was diagnosed with Stage 4 in his small intestines, lymph nodes and liver. He went through some tough times but is NED, doing great and getting back to running and is running a marathon! (Peter M. Riley if you want to check him out--nice guy!). So I think Team Krock will kick C's butt! Sorry you're going through so much. It will suck. But I feel like you've got this!! ❤️💐
Praying for you sweet girl and for Brian, and the Dr ‘s as well that our Lord will guide their minds and hands. Also for the move you’re facing and that all of it will go well. How cool that you have already been to Rochester and hopefully that will make some of it as less stressful as possible. Love you both and sincerely praying for your healing ❤️
This is scary. I'm sorry you are going thru this. It takes time to get to a point of positive progress but you will because you're tough. If you are having a bad day, you will have a good day tomorrow. Hold on. Be the miracle you were born to be.
Good Lord girl! You have been through the ringer. Wow, so many organs and body parts involved. I had A huge kidney stone a few years ago that needed to be removed. That was awful. So much pain and nausea with that too. I can’t Imagine what you’ve had to endure. Hugs! I hope This all goes away eventually!
Hugs! so glad you are feeling better. Overwhelming issues, but you can hang in there!!! And yes, you do not want to be so "special" and rare -- I had a kind of leukemia that normally occurs in children -- but I was 49 -- and they told me it was easier to cure in children. But I did get over it and am 64 today and even got married for the first time after cancer. Obviously, I did not have to deal with the fertility issue, but one step at a time and I am glad you are saving embryos. Your attitude is great -- and I am glad you have such a good community -- that makes a huge difference. Plus you have Brian and your parents. Hang onto all those good people who are praying and sending you good thoughts -- that is the best medicine.
Genetic Testing!! Hey Jessica I’m keeping you in my prayers! So my friend had skin melanoma and then within a year developed a completely separate cancer like you and has prostate cancer stage four. He had some genetic testing done at Vanderbilt University medical Center that then showed like four different types of cancers he is susceptible to. So make sure you ask about getting genetic testing done. I am honestly only halfway through your video but I did not want to forget to tell you that! Wishing you only good things ahead! 😊
You are both amazing!! Prayers and love go out to you. I found your channel last week by chance. My daughter was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2021. They also found a rare form of uterine cancer. She had a complete hysterectomy and six rounds of chemotherapy. She is looking and feeling great. An organization called Seventeen Strong is sending her on a victory trip to Hawaii in September!
The bond and commitment you have to each other is truly amazing. You can be proud of that. I know you have it within you both to fight the fight. This wonderful community you’ve created is behind you 100 %, myself included. Stay strong. God bless.
You’re the first other person I’ve heard of with the issue passing out when you throw up. Since my late teens, I’m 51 now. Prayers for you about this and your bigger issues. 🙏❤️
Omgosh your husband is a GEM. He loves you soooo much. He listens. He is such a rock for you. God bless you both. He looks at you with such love and he learns to pronounce all those big words to help explain everything. You are both so lucky to have each other.
Thanks so much for the updates. That’s definitely a lot on both of you. I’m glad that the second surgery has given you some relief Jessica! We’re all out here cheering you on because you are both such great people who clearly want to help others. I’m so happy for the outpouring of financial support you received. Please take good care of yourselves-Brian too of course-and just try and take it one “thing” at a time. I found that was helpful for me when I went through my cancer treatment. It can be overwhelming at times, so I would focus on the next procedure or event and get through that as best as I could. ♥️♥️♥️
I have been battling for 20 years plus, and having a partner to Love you , support you, to just be there for you. In my personal opinion, your man is a good guy to be in your corner! God bless you both .❤️ 🇨🇦❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the update. Goodness, the stuff you are going through, you could have just said screw it, I'll focus on me; but here you guys are. Maybe you know, maybe not, but many of us, if not all, found you by looking for weight loss help and recipes. We did find that, but we also found a sweet, loving couple where we found ourselves anxiously waiting for the next video. Every once in awhile I get a sense of something other than sweet, like strong people with a strong bond, willing to fight for what is right. Now you are faced with such a fight and you guys will hold each other up and make it thru this. Brian, please know I pray for you just as much as Jessica. Your part is just as tough because of the helplessness you must feel and probably feeling you always have to be there for Jessica. You guys got this as long as you have each other.
Are these comments making anyone else cry? Just me? What a strong community you have, Jessica and Brian, to support you through this. We are here for you.
I'm so glad you're getting answers. Keeping your sweet family in my prayers. You are a warrior! Keep a positive mindset and know you have support all around you. ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Jessica, I continue to keep praying for a complete healing for you. Your faith and positive attitude, along with the prayers from all of your supporters, will get you through this difficult journey!❤️🙏❤️
I'm so glad that the stent has provided you with some much needed relief Jessica, that's fantastic! I'm keeping you both in my thoughts and sending all of the internet hugs your way. Thank you very much for the update, I hope we can get at least another $10K in donations with this vid!!!
All the best, Jessica, may your case become the textbook standard for successful treatment of this type of cancer. If you are going to have cancer, Brian is definitely the person to have it with! Many blessings to both.
I am praying for you and if you can keep us updated on TH-cam I would appreciate it I will be thinking about you on a daily basis and brain be strong be positive hang in there🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was diagnosed with complicated endometrial cancer in 2011. The pathologist said I was presenting with 10% papillary serous carcinoma as well--multiple cancers like you. I was looking at chemo, 5 weeks of external radiation and 3 rounds of high dose internal radiation. A little voice whispered to me, get a second opinion. I thought with all my doctors, including my gynecological oncologist and my radiation oncologist, I had a second opinion. NO! You need to get a second PATHOLOGY done on your cancer. I had to go pick my cancer and take it to City of Hope and they sent some slides to Johns Hopkins. Turns out, the original pathologist was WRONG. Please have a second pathology done. Robert Kurman at John's Hopkins is an expert in complicated mixed tumors. Much love to you. G
She is going to Mayo Clinic to be evaluated. I agree. With the current state of our medical system any major medical diagnosis requires a second independent opinion.
Thank you for sharing your health journey. It's alot to go through- you got a good support system here on youtube. Jessica & Brian i will be praying for you. 💌🦋
Jessica, you are so lucky to have your "rock". Brian is a rare gem. SO glad you two have eachother during this extremely tough time. I also believe that you will have a great outcome and you will come out on the other side a stronger and more confident person for all that you have been through. Sending prayers for a full and speedy recovery!
Jessica and Brian, This is my first time watching your channel. I couldn’t help but be moved by your honesty and openness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and God willing you will beat this.
You've got this! Getting the diagnosis is scary but the more you know, the more you know. Kudos for having the emotional, physical and mental brain power to do updates. I'm a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. I've been in remission for 13 months now. It's hard. Watching your video brought up all the old feelings and emotions of being diagnosed. Since you are so young, did they do genetic testing to see if there is a reason you have TWO cancers and such a rare cancer? My dad had neuroendocrine cancer in his colon and I have a friend with it in her lungs. It's scary, I'm sure that's it's scarier because it's so rare. Is there a reason why they weren't able to remove part of your ureter? I had the same issues with my left ureter. During treatment they put in a stent then during my final surgery they ended up removing part of my left ureter and lifted my bladder to reattach it. Just as a warning, they usually have to replace stents every three months and it's super uncomfortable. A lot of cramping. A LOT!!! Anyway, I'm thinking of you.
Jessica I am praying for total healing for you and for strength for you and Brian through this journey! I am a 12 year breast cancer survivor and I am a firm believer that attitude is everything, so keep that positivity as it will help you through . I am new to your channel and I have thoroughly enjoyed the videos that I've watched so far. Go bless you both 🙏 🙌 Hugs from a Georgia girl 👧 🤗
My surgeon at Mayo was Dr. Sean Dowdy...he is head of the gynecological department....brilliant man! I am his Alaska poster child for ovarian cancer! All my very best! Mary
I am relieved to hear that you have some positive things you can do now and still praying for God’s blessings and healing for you, Jessica. Thank you, Brian, for being such a good and supportive husband. Praying for you too.
You are so brave and strong, Jessica. I admire your grit. I faced a terrible illness at your age (mine was heart related), and it was scary as hell. I probably couldn't be sitting there calmly discussing it like you're doing. You're incredible! I was just in tears for weeks and weeks after my diagnosis and hospitalization. I am fine now, btw. I had congestive heart failure, which is another thing you never want to have. I made it through and you will too. Your husband by your side, fighting with you every step of the way, is such a gift. My husband fought with me as well. Now for women in their mid to late 30's (and even younger), who like me and like Jessica, think they _may_ want kids but haven't yet, my advice is if you won't be happy if you never have kids, consider doing it sooner rather than later. You don't know what tomorrow will bring and you may not have the opportunity later. I was doing just like Jessica. My husband and I were like...maybe yes, maybe no...then I got heart failure and the option was taken from me. It was too dangerous for me to carry a ppregnancy after my heart got sick and we didn't have the money for surrogacy. I had to face heart failure and the realization that I would not have children. Don't let your health make the decision for you. You do not know what will happen tomorrow so don't put off childbirth if it will devastate you to never have kids. This is my most vulnerable advice to all women out there. I wish I would have heard it from a woman and so I'm telling it to anyone who may be in similar situation now. My husband and I thought of adoption, but it wasn't for us for several reasons. So we do not and will not ever have kids. I've made peace with it, but it still stings and I do regret taking my reproduction for granted. I'm glad Jessica is going to save her eggs. It will be something to look forward to and to fight for...but we just dont know the future, so if children will be important to you, secure yourself and have your kids as soon as you are capable. Don't wait like I did.
Thank you for sharing ur story. That is such a hard thing to go through. I am 31 and just finished chemo for stg3 ovarian cancer. The day I was diagnosed, my first thought was I want to live a long happy and healthy life with my husband. I had a full hysterectomy and didn’t think of getting my eggs frozen, assuming it would be a huge expense. I didn’t like the idea of knowing I might die from this and leave my husband alone, and potentially leaving children behind. I’m coming to the realization more and more that I will never experience motherhood. My husband has been my rock and says as long as we have each other, we will be okay. I’m happy with that. But I will say, it stings a little to know all that was sacrificed. Idk what the future will bring me, but I have made peace with it. It is a hard decision to live with. Your story touched me and it’s an important one to share. I find so much strength in it🙏 I do wish I had someone to tell me this.

My husband is being treated at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota for kidney cancer. My husband is a rare case because of his age also. We have been thrilled with the care at Mayo Clinic . You will be in excellent hands if you go there. My family and I will be lifting you up in prayer 🙏
Thanks so much for the update, Jessica and Brian. You've been on my mind a lot. I'm SO happy they've controlled the pain and nausea. Keep fighting. I KNOW you're gonna kick cancer's butt! All my love....XOXOXO

Love to learn of joyful outcomes! Thank you for sharing your experience. Another miracle. May you be blessed with many more! Peace & hugs! 🙏🏼🥰♥️🙌🏼
That's good news! Do you know what, as I read your lines and the update from our lovely krocks tears came into my eyes. I wish your family, your brother the best. Maybe it would be good to explain what your brother did to support his healing and how or where he has been treated. Warm regards from Vienna/Austria.
great news
@@leonieharry2941 We live in northeast Ohio. We are lucky that we have great hospitals in our backyard. (Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital are just 2 within an hours drive away.)

I will never forget the day that my son’s two oncologists came into his room and said, your son has cancer. It is rare and it is bad. There was only 1 known treatment protocol at that time. After that, everything was experimental.

Kathleen

As she went into surgery, her husband told her she was going to come through with “flying colors.”
When she woke up, she had!
She was already a daycare owner, but a few months later, she opened up another one, and called it Flying Colors.” She is now 56, and living her best life with her kids and grandkids:) I have a really good feeling about you! And I will be praying my rosary for you! God is a healer!

🙌🏻.. u both will beat cancer..
What is your insurance plan if may ask u
You must remain ready to do battle with your insurance company. Many companies simply reject each claim and you may well need to keep pushing, through the appeals process, and insist that the insurance honors their policy terms. If your insurance is through work, you may need to get your HR person involved.
It's very disheartening that it cost to save a life.
Prayers from a breast cancer fighter
It helped.

Mayo in Rochester is a wonderful Hospital/health care system...best in the country💙 Praying for you always from Minnesota🙏💙

I don't know if you care, but damn, you two both look great.
They really do!
Yes, Jessica, you look lovely. Hope looks good on you!
May God's face shine upon you and give you peace.
Your share provided inspiration. I've been diagnosed with Thyroid C at 52 single and never married yet. Thanks for your share....

You will beat this. Know of folks who have beaten neuroendocrine cancers. You will be another! Love and prayers to both of you!
Such an adorable couple. Y'all are one of the TH-cam influencers that helped me go plant-based. Best wishes, Jessica.
You two are so BLESSED to have each other. You were a match made in heaven. God's got this and you're gonna be okay!!! Praying for you both!!!❤️🙏❤️😘🥰😘
I am thankful for all the people who have been able to donate to help Jessica
Sending lots of prayers of hope and healing
Praying for you!!!! 😊. You are going to get through this!!! Especially with us helping to hold you up!!! 💪 you’ve got this girl!!! You too, hubby!!!
So much love and prayers coming your way. I’m a uterine cancer survivor. Love you guys lots! 💕💕💕
Praying for you! Stay strong!
God bless you both .❤️
🇨🇦❤️🙏🏻
❤️❤️
Very smart idea!
Love and support from Louisville Kentucky. Thinking of you both every day. You are so loved. 💕💕
Jessica and Brian,
This is my first time watching your channel. I couldn’t help but be moved by your honesty and openness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and God willing you will beat this.
YES.... IM SO HAPPY TO SEE Y'ALL ❤️. HEY IT'S OK.

I'm so sorry that you're still in pain. Praying that you find relief!
Go bless you both 🙏 🙌
Hugs from a Georgia girl 👧 🤗
Lots of love for you from Brazil! Stay strong, you will get through this and come back super healthy and stronger!
My surgeon at Mayo was Dr. Sean Dowdy...he is head of the gynecological department....brilliant man! I am his Alaska poster child for ovarian cancer! All my very best! Mary
If I were going through this I would want Brian by my side too! God bless you both as you go through this 💕
I am relieved to hear that you have some positive things you can do now and still praying for God’s blessings and healing for you, Jessica.
@S Darby, I just wanted to comment on here and tell you that you are about my favorite person commenting on our videos right now. Thank you for sharing your story with us and thank you for replying to other commenters on here. I really do appreciate it. Keep up the great work. I love you guys!!! 💕 🙏🏻 🕊 Thank you SO much for keeping us updated!!!! 🌺
You are the cutest couple ever and I’m so glad to have found your channel. I have no doubt you will beat this thing and be stronger than ever. You are both in my thoughts.
