Eric bought his Mk1 Escort twin cam in 1974 being the 3rd owner but sold the in 1978 for £500 and incredibly found the car and bought it again in 2022! He spent the next 12 months restoring the car from the beginning, in this episode Eric reveals this fascinating story

Truly fantastic car, and also being a twin cam my dream car. But being a twin cam, therefore an early escort, surely it should have a starting handle hole in the front panel?

Absolutely gorgeous always loved the mk1 escort. I nearly had an Rs1600 back in the late 80's was offered a left hand drive one it was absolutely rotten never seen so much tin worm I could of re shelled it had a 1300 car that was rust free but didn't have the heart to break it. Got back InTouch with the seller two days later but I was a couple of hours late he had called the scrap man who beat me too it😥❤️
