Hmmnn… These fish are about the size you’d catch in Florida Bay. There it’s clear water, turtle grass over sand, and trout are mostly ambushing finfish in the potholes. In Louisiana it’s mud and shell bottom, stained to mostly clear water, and fish are dialed into two huge runs of shrimp as the main forage. Different world, different habitat, different tactics…
I think you're probably talking out of your butt because where I fish it's 10 times as hard so you better be on top of your game to catch trout I may not catch as many in one outing but I definitely catch bigger. when you can catch fish on rubber plastic and bubble gum it ain't that hard dude over here none of that BS works. where I am.
what can one person do with limits of trout every single week???? that's not Florida where all you get is 5!!!! no wonder they're changing your trout limit. and then even then it's three times but Florida is!! I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again y'all are so so spoiled.
got to be some footage you had from last couple of weeks before. no wind, flat calm warm conditions not this week that I know of.
