the farm is so pretty!! wasabi icecream sounds interesting… though you said it doesnt have a strong wasabi flavor, huh? that sounds sort of disappointing haha
Interesting, love to try the wasabi icecream! These are the kind of attraction I like. A bit quirky, a bit different from the standard tourist attractions. Any chance you do a video about gyotaku, where tourists can see and do it?
In the UK have 'Horse Radish' , it looks similar, but is not fussy to grow. The taste is not as violent as Wasabi, but still pierces the tongue, Aaaargh !
i like wasabi so much😋
Wasabi ice cream sounds fun! Excited to try some
Definitely!!
I'm gonna go here in April when I spend a few days in Matsumoto!
Awesome and enjoy!
Great video, guys! We really like your short explanatory videos. Super quick and accesible, but we always feel like we learned something😊
Thank you thank you!!
Another great video! ❤
How far from Tokyo?
About 3 hours by car! Or 1 hour by car from Nagano station

There's actually another version where they put actual wasabi on the ice cream haha
@@didibryan oh that sounds so weird! I’m not sure I’d like it, but I’d love to try it some day lol
It does... Maybe we should have tried that one as well haha
@@didibryan I would love to know what you think of it if you ever go back and try it!
will do!

Yes we had a lot of fun visiting as well! Haven't heard of where tourists can do it, but we will keep an eye for gyotaku in our future travels!
@@didibryan Me neither so I decided to ask the experts😂
I love wasabi and frequently overuse it. I've never seen a plant or root. I know only the toothpaste tube type and thought they grew in weird plants 😂
This was our first time seeing the plant as well 😂😋

Yes! Very similar and both burn your mouth 😂
It should definitely be soon after grating otherwise it may lose some of its flavor. I don't know if there are hard minutes requirements though
