EP-022. Brihadeshwara or Rajarajaswaram or Tanjai Periya Kovil (Big Temple). This UNESCO World heritage site has to be seen to be believed! My jaws literally fell open when I got here, unable to fathom the engineering ingenuity and skills of our ancestors in the 11th century who made this timeless marvel possible.
This is part three of a soulful tour organised by the Isha Sacred Walks. Very different from my regular travels, the collective energy of everyone heightened the way we experienced these sacred spaces! I have already signed up for their next one!
I cover day four of this invigorating tour in this episode where we travel from Trichy or Thiruchirapalli to Tanjavur and then stop at Karaikudi for a delicious home-cooked lunch.
