My dad lived in Guinea when I was little and I have been interested in studying the varied politics and cultures of the continent for the past couple of years. Nonetheless, I still am not very knowledgeable and I would love to learn more. My Korean is also not always perfect or accurate, and so I misused 나라 (country/place) instead of 대륙 (continent). It peeved me too when I watched it. I don't ever want to oversimplify or misdescribe any place, so I apologize for my mistake. I'll try to do better!

I believe could actually be a mixed of Aboriginal, which are the indigenous people of Australia ( you can tell by their white face painting ) and Maori who are the natives of my own country Aotearoa ( New Zealand ) but us Maori are also pacific islanders/ Polynesians. Maori tend to have Ta moko ( Traditional Tattoos ) or also Moko Kauae for women ( chin tattoo ) and that's why I believe she could be mixed because the painting is on her chin. Pretty much grew up here, so I’m not completely knowledgeable in my own culture anymore. My parents are both Maori but my dad doesn’t speak Te reo Maori ( our native tongue ) or explores too much into our culture either because he was brought go up at English speaking schools while my Mum actually knows a lot about it because she grew up around our culture and did Kapa Haka ( traditional dance and music ) and all that. She doesn’t really speak it much anymore, she used to when we lived back home in New Zealand when I little ( I also went to Konhanga, Maori day care and used to go to Maori school too ). I actually didn’t really start learning English properly till we moved over here to Australia when I was about nine years old. I could speak English fluently but couldn’t really read and write it. Whereas I could speak, read and write in Te reo Maori. Over time I kinda lost a lot of my knowledge since I grew up around the Australia way of living. The real one is more modest. The other parts of Germany (from North to South) also have traditional Clothes. They're just not as prominent as the Dirndl and seldomly worn. And to add to what you said the cloth or fabric the ladies wore is called Kente, and each color or pattern in fabric represents something.

I loved this video and the girl was very respectful towards the indigenous people, I am from Brazil, and like the vast majority of people here I am, black, white and indigenous, in my case the indigenous is my strongest part, since I have indigenous blood on the maternal side and on the paternal side, there is not much to talk about, it is something more "look in my face and see", I usually feel detached in matters of indigenous traditions and traditional clothes, because because of colonization no one know anymore what belongs to which indigenous group and it is difficult to have access to some information if you do not live near the villages, apart from that some indigenous groups of old do not even exist anymore, even so I think things are very beautiful and some indigenous people now expose their culture on the internet , I loved her sensitivity when remembering the indigenous people who are usually the most outdated in terms of culture.

@@czerwynska I said that I have indigenous ancestors on both sides, my great-grandmother as an example on the paternal side was pure indigenous but over the generations the black and white get mixed up too, you know how DNA works, but even with the mix the indigenous blood is very strong on both sides and the culture remains a little bit.

But the Nigerian traditional wear varies. There are so many cultures and languages here, the yourúba , Hausa, Igbo, Benin, Benue, Fulanis, Efik, and other cultures (about 250 of them) the ones I mentioned are one of the majorities. Their traditional wears differs a lot from aso-oke to Batik , adire, Ankara and the rest. They wear coral and Ivory beads to show royalty and status.
