I like the black cables, but I think I’d prefer a bright color, since the rack is also black.

Really nice and quality product. I wish there was a slightly bigger selection of lengths tho. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16 feet are nice standard lengths, but in reality it would be nice to have more variation of short cables, in 10cm increments, and maybe even 5cm increments for the shortest ones.

Do you know the innovativ Cabelning System from BKS Kabel-Service AG in Switzerland? Its called MMC.
I'm interested in what do you think about this?

So rather than fixing the problem of poor workmanship, you've just hidden it away behind a door.

To make it harder to follow the cables to find out what goes where. Having no color at all helps too.
I place switches between the patch panels so I can use minimum length patch cables. Or I have patch panels in the middle height, phones go downward, lan upward. This solves most of the problems. Then I use color for the cables that have to be longer and have the same order on the switch as on the clients.

Yes. I work in school IT. At one of our schools, whoever wired a wing of classrooms did a terrible job in the labeling. They literally labeled each port in the classroom and the patch panel with the room number. All the ports in room 1 were labeled Room 1. It was infuriating when I had to tone out some ports a few years ago.

and the reason you used all cables that were 12 or 15'? Oh yea because you don't know what you are doing!! All you accomplished is HID the rats nest in the vertical wire manager instead of out in the open. CONGRATULATIONS you've accomplished NOTHING and probably ripped off the customer by billing them a Shiite load!
