In Evansville Indiana a Sherpa family from Nepal has a restaurant called Yak and Yeti. I asked them did they know about the Animal Kingdom restaurant they said yes that is why they named their restaurant after the one at the Animal Kingdom. Good food at the one in Evansville.
I am glad you got to ride Expedition Everest before its long closure. My nephew and family came down from New Hampshire in early December and visited Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Their 10-year-old daughter loved Expedition Everest above all other rides. I was just going to message them and tell them it is a good thing they went when they did because my friend Jackie just told us it will be closed for a long time. I know I never met you personally, but I consider you my friend because of all you share on TH-cam. Thanks!
Hahahaha! We were at Animal Kingdom on the same Day! Gutted we didn't run into each other! Everest is such a good ride, was waiting for it to open all day!

I know I say this all the time but Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. I love all the greenery and trees. I went to Animal Kingdom in July of 2020 all by myself. I rode Expedition Everest 5 times in a row before I started feeling sick. I hope they finish the refurbishment soon, I know it’s a favorite at Animal Kingdom.
I got evacuated from Everest in December. We were almost on the highest point. We had to walk inside it and down 12 flights of stairs. It was literally the most amazing experience. I decided on the day I was flying home to stop into AK and road Everest because it won't be open the next time I go. I am so sad Everest will be closed when I am there at end of January.
Happy 2022! Thanks for taking us to Animal Kingdom today. Girl I am with you..I so loved Primevial Whirl. I would way rather have a ride of any kind than a seating area! But here's hoping it will be something fun one day.
We loved Prime Whirl!!! We miss it too and thought it was a lot of fun!!! Don't really like the "carnival" vibe of the rest of the area, but did like that ride and always went on that before the Dinosaur ride! Everest is one of our favorite rides in WDW ❤️ We are coming down in less than 2 weeks and we will miss riding it over and over this trip! Hopefully it will be up and running in May when we return 🤞We hope Disney does a complete re-theming of Dinoland with new rides and entertainment. Happy 2022!

It’s funny that I definitely love Everest even though I end feeling sick and end up sitting down for a hour after. I still ride it every time I go to Animal Kingdom and even my son when he was 8 and years after loved it and he does not like coasters.

I worked at DAK pre Everest and still lived in the area when they were building it. It was so cool to see it being built from far away. 💞 I remember Kali River Rapids cast preview at night where I got stuck on one of the levels just going around and around without dropping to the next level for like 15 minutes. Not sure that all of your viewers know that cast members are the guinea pigs for the rides. It was awesome and usually interesting. 🤣 Happy New Year's 🎉. EE is my favorite coaster in all of Disney. My granddaughter and I were there weeks after the original opening. We ran from the Tree of Life straight there (you could do that back then). Literally rode it 4 or 5 times before a line formed.

That Dragon roll bowl looks delicious! We live Yak & Yeti, plus the Landry’s Select Club makes it so flexible to eat at.
Thanks to your tip about the Landry’s card, I was able to get one before I went last year in May! I was able to get right in and had a wonderful meal!
