Following a knife attack, a member of the team lies in peril and their condition takes a sudden turn for the worse, leaving Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Toni Zanetti (guest star Julie Berman) scrambling to race against the clock. Word quickly spreads that some of Connor's fellow doctors feel he should have operated sooner, causing tension at the hospital. Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) makes preparations for her pregnancy and Nurse April Sexton's (Yaya DaCosta) brother (guest star Roland Buck III) struggles through his first day at the hospital. Meanwhile, members of the Chicago P.D. Intelligence Unit help investigate whether the case of a woman clinging to life after Firehouse 51 pulled her out of a burning building is attempted suicide or murder. As the investigation deepens, a surprising parallel to other patients surfaces.

Fred: Two patients in one day both overdosed with chemotherapy and none had cancer just doesn't seem right
Daphne: This is very suspicious
Velma: And this is not sitting right with me
Shaggy: might just be contaminated chemo
Dr. Charles: Maybe Shaggy that can be a good point as to why these patients are getting ill
Dr Halstead: Any other possibilities what do you think Daphne?
Daphne: The only thing I can think of is an oncologist mixing a few charts
Velma: No I have a different feeling, I've a hunch this is being done on purpose
Daphne: I don't think we should go that far
Mrs. Goodwin: Do you think that a doctor is loading these patients up with chemo?
Velma: I do, it doesn't make sense that two patients are both flooded with chemo and don't have cancer someone is doing it intentionally
Mrs. Goodwin: Okay Velma I'll look into it

Mrs. Goodwin: Velma your suspicions were correct now we have three patients loaded with chemo and tests have confirmed none of the three patients had cancer, so you're right Velma someone's is doing this on purpose. I've called the police they're on the way

Fred: A chemo overdose and a suicide note doesn't seem to make sense. Patients can't have access to chemo unless a doctor gave it to them

She’s being treated for Mouth cancer. Of course she isn’t going to be able to talk.
When u get cancer it can cause lack of speech
She’s also delirious and has dementia from her UTI and failing kidneys…and after she’s intubated of course she can’t talk because of the tube…been there,fully conscious with a breathing tube it’s incredibly frustrating trying to communicate …
i mean maybe not, if it wasnt affecting her vocal cords, perhaps? i havent watched the full episode so i don t really know her background and also know nothing about mouth cancer lol@@strych9ines
