Playing blue affinity with Akroma's Memorial and Ugin's Labyrinth, with more focus on mana production to actually get to 7 and swing with hasty evasive tokens the turn they come in rather than hoping it holds for a turn. Moonsnare Prototype is a nice - oh shi~ button when I'm digging for interaction but it's mostly Springleaf Drum copies 5 to 8.
I love artifacts. I play my deck splashing white for all that glitters and animate artifact, which always get suprising kills combined with emporium thopterist; a stupidly powercrept alchemy card.
I was actually, unironically, physically nauseated once I saw Kozilek’s Awakening and Thought Monitor right next to each other. I thought I might throw up at work. I guess that’s how cards like Nadu slip through the cracks. I have no idea how the Modern Horizons creators sleep at night.
First of all, great showing of the deck, as always. However, it was also a good showing of why I don't like older formats and always have to laugh if someone tells they are so much better because of "deck variety". Almost all the matches were against some form of (infinite) combo deck where both players just play Solitaire without any interaction. This is exactly not what Magic is about for me. I can do better if I want to play with myself (yes, I'm aware).
Affinity for artifacts is my favorite new deck on arena. We basically have the legacy affinity package on arena now. Also that second one mana plus five is exactly why I love affinity so much. Ugh and that third game too 😍 LVD you have shown me my new favorite deck.
“Taking Mox Amber? Please do.”
Absolutely brutal.
Match 4 was Magic just as Garfield intended. Giant artifacts against pillowforted enchantments.
I love artifact affinity with a passion
Great to see more historic gameplay
Hey, I was just watching your Jeskai Ascendency video!
A 1 of Thassa's Oracle seems like a way to avoid bad situations because you often draw the deck. Though It could be a bit win more, but it is an idea
Thoracle is banned in historic
Bit insane that Vault of Whispers is legal in Historic but Great Furnace isn't.
It’s not that it’s not legal, it just hasn’t been printed on Arena
19:58 rookie mistake - should scry that to the bottom

Apparently you only need on piece of interaction when you can draw your whole deck. It's also easier to call your outs when you have 45 top decks.
nice, I have a similar deck that also runs Kappa Cannoneer
Just craft the deck immediately, and meet an anti-artifact spell in main deck in MTGA. Feeling upset with the MTGA matching system😢
Update: just tried😂 lose 4 out of 5, requires a nice starting hand to keep up with the match
You heard here first: with Springleaft Drum, Ornithopter is basically free! 😄

I do love artifacts
I love artifact Affinity
Why 62 cards? Got me intrigued.
Damn good games put in 1 spring leaf drum now
3 mana baing exspensive is wild

Without having use for black mana, wouldn’t Treasure Vault be a better choice instead of Vault of Whispers?
62 cards maindeck
Yeah that's interesting. A bit strange he didn't mention it.
Affinity is the most broken mechanic wizards ever printed.
I hate artifact-affinity with a passion :D
I only hate the paradox engine builds
Pair it with blue and a companion and we have the full hateful combo
No legendary artifact creature - equipment jellyfish ? 😂
Don’t hate the player hate the game?
I’m the legend I’m first
