I know you feel like you've lost a step in your game, but I think there are just more people with skill now. You get to a strong baseline in play ability by just having a good amount of game experience. You make the viewer (me) feel like I'm actually talking to you when you play lol. It's entertaining.
I'll add my 2 cents that all this power creep also makes the game a bit more luck based. As the game gets faster he stops being able to count on match lenght for little incremental advantages like he used to. I do agree that we've come a long way from the playtest groups of the early 2000s and everyone is magnitudes better at drafting with all this information available. I wouldn't be surprised that the twins too play a part on some loose plays sometimes.
I always feel this way about Deathclaw. I get that it blows up any permanent and is a decent beater, but its 6 mana. It does not seem legacy cube playable to me.
3:03 Only issue I see here with Mox Opal is that pack where you passed Urza's Saga and Tinker, which both heavily incentivizes people to your left to go into artifacts. Not a dealbreaker, but it could make pack 2 pretty lackluster, and if there are two other artifact drafters at the table, it's not ideal for pack 3 either. Commenting before seeing the result, will be interesting to see how it goes.
But you want to put the person to your left into your archetype in teamdraft, so you can cut them in 2 packs and only get cut in 1. Obviously, putting your teammate two seats down into artifacts when you're drafting it is not great.
glad to see you are also experiencing the lag. i thought it was just me. there must be some change they made that is causing it. Or else it would have been doing this since long ago.
There is a way to search by card and see the cubes that card is in. Do not have the time currently to find if this particular cube is on there. Good luck!
@@nthnthms1212 It's definitely washed for this version of the power-max cube they are playing. In a less degenerate cube, especially in one where red's midrange threats are limited to some extent, Jace is fine.
P3P1 got me thinking, is it time for everflowing chalice to get the axe? I feel like if there was ever a time to take the card, it would have been in this paradoxical outcome/upheaval deck. Edit: maybe it just was the pick now that I've thought about it a little more.
I think he said on LR once that he does actually just memorize them all, and memorizes his opponents’ cards after game 1 (so doesn’t need to write them down).
I know this isn't what actually happened but if you look at it a certain way LSV was furiously trying to cast Kappa Cannoneer by way of not casting Kappa Cannoneer
Seems wrong to take P2 One Ring over Tinker having a Mox Diamond already and also P5 Underground Sea over Natural Order with Skullclamp (both have synergy with green elves)
I think you’re significantly overestimating the power of tinker and NO in cube. The one ring and U sea are both also really powerful cards and are way more open ended, both go in way more decks and in addition neither really need anything to get going unlike NO and tinker which both need enables and payoffs to be good
@@benjaminsouthworth5698 Yuuup the One Ring is like an 8.5/10 card (at least) in literally any deck. Whereas a Tinker can be a 9/10 card in some decks but there are lots of decks it just doesn't go in at all
@@benjaminsouthworth5698 A lot of tinker payoffs also don't do that much. Portal is the one knockout draw, and only against creature decks, which aren't that common in the power-max cube. Bolas' Citadel is a total crapshoot and Blightsteel is relatively easy to deal with. Cannoneer has some value as a tinker target, so that would have been ok, but One Ring is just stronger than Tinker.
Love seeing the daily uploads back. Means the twins are (hopefully) calming down, hope all is well there and love the content as always 💞
I wonder if when Mac joined the server he ever imagined he would continuously get trash talked by a hall of famer😂
Fav LSV line : can I get an academy? 😂😂
I loved this deck. So much value and synergy. PO, Tezz, Turtle, some zero mana artifacts...this is a true LSV artifact beauty
Ah good! LSV is back in form with his (nearly) no win-con Artifacts!
Edit: I forget that Tezzeret has an ultimate, haha. That's a pretty important win con and makes it feel less no win-con than my initial gut instinct.
@@bricelory9534 Not to mention Cannoneer and Upheaval are both pretty solid wincons.

@@JCDSPCwould actually love to see some lower powered cubes for this exact reason. Games being decided by turn 2 or 3 isn't very interesting
Had the norovirus for like 3 days and the daily LSV is the best part of my day
Get well soon!
LSV: better than norovirus 😉
"occult epiphany is just a great card" I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

My thoughts exactly

This deck just looked like a pile during drafting but a lot of the synergies really came together. Always sweet to see OG Tezzeret get some love.
If you want my views I wanna hear MORE about how much you still Got Dat Dawg in ya. Love to hear it.
"Jace is so washed, it's unfortunate. Just like me. 😂 Nah I still got that dog in me." Love ya LSV. 👍

Time for my daily message. Dance of the dead in the cube list? I wonder if LSV considers it? :o
Fun draft and games, and very exciting until you hit a brick wall in round 3
Anyone know where I can get the list for this cube?
The website is called Cube Cobra, LSV’s Cube is just called “LSVCube”, but I’m not sure if that’s the specific one they’re drafting in this video

"Jace is washed" God damn you power creeeeeep!!
it's not true tho, it's still a strong card. just not as relatively strong, which is fine.
@quarkraven it's washed brother, and this is coming from an avid jace enjoyed

It's still the Power Mack cube, not the regular cube.
It's such a shame to see wizards leave modo in such a sorry state.
wotc licensed development and operations of modo to Daybreak Games in 2021. Daybreak is to be praised or blamed for its state at this point
after the modern unbannings way more people have been playing, slowing the servers. hopefully they fix it soon
I haven’t been on a ton, but it was much better Sunday/Monday, so maybe we’ll get lag free videos soon. Overall I think Daybreak has done a great job.
So what's so funny about bazaar of Baghdad? 😁😁
Sad I missed the bazar rant.
Why not take Narset p3p1 when you already have dack, a draw 7 and LED so looking for more draw 7 potentially?
Well, he wheeled it so it worked out.
@ true but not even mentioning it?
I don’t have Narset too high in my pick order right now
Hi Luis. FYI 'Thibault/ Thibaut' is pronounced something like 'Teé-bow'
If you are drafting in person, how do you organize your cards? Or do you just memorize them all? 😂
I think he said on LR once that he does actually just memorize them all, and memorizes his opponents’ cards after game 1 (so doesn’t need to write them down).
I was curious on what you earn from youtube revenue, is social blade accurate?
Did the team win?

Kind of funny that it inadvertently creates this idea that someone might have a counter.
