Finally! Out of all of the Civ players running TH-cam channels out there, we get one who knows how to TEACH, not merely how to play, but to trigger a deeper understanding of how to evaluate positions and tactics. I'd almost lost hope.
I watched this video years ago and had such strong memories to it. Today tried looking for it again and actually took me about 2 hours to find it 😂. Its still as good and relaxing as i remembered. Thanks for this gem 💪!
Great question! With Rome, God of the Forge is great for +25% production to Legions and other ancient/classical units. Alternatively, God of Craftsmen will give you a production (and faith) bonus on strategic resources, which you'll be trying to improve anyway. More generally, it depends on the terrain/resources around you and the victory you're going for. I like God of the Open Sky and Oral Tradition for culture from pastures and plantations, respectively, if I have those resources around. If you're going for a religious or culture victory (or a faith-based strategy like faith-purchasing units with Grand Master's Chapel), a faith-generating pantheon based on your terrain can be very useful. And Divine Spark is always a good backup for science or cultural victories where you'll be building lots of campuses or theater squares.

You did a nice job here! I will check out the rest of your content. Thank you for the video.
Wish you came back with more stuff
When you choose a pantheon, what if you dont get religious settlements? What would you pick besides religious settlements?
