I'm late to this conversation, but both FMA and this game (and its presuccessor) were greatly inspired by alchemy, or alchemic lore. There are a lot of commonality there, especially with the eye of truth.
Doesn't it just mean that this is a straight up sequel/continuation of Titan Souls? I just got the secret ending with no idea it would be linked to that game and it was awesome to have the game be mentioned again.
As someone who has played and enjoyed Titan Souls long before getting into this game (not knowing it was made by the same devs), this ending came as a HUGE surprise! It’s a neat way to tie the two games together. It almost made up for looking for a flower pot in the graveyard for an hour, only to find out that it was in the transition area to the estate through pothead.
Getting this ending wasn’t too bad imo. The seeds took a bit, and the ghosts were weird, but that was about it. I really wish I didn’t have to kill the gravedigger, but my god does his fight song go hard.

@@elijahnyendwa2281 coming at ya late but that massive eye was the "true" final boss of titan souls. and the human was the Player in titan souls. its of a reference and more of a tieing up of loose ends. i do like how ya become a "crow king" at the end... but i feel oddly sad from it. the little crow is all grown up.
For people complaining about finding all the pots and putting the seeds, there are slight indicators of the seeds location with the use of one of the shiny items as well as the red highlight on doors showing you've missed an item. Additionally, youtube exists, just use the compilation and its will take an hour or 2 at most unless you'e not higher stats/weapon and whether you've completed the area or not so you can remember routes making it easier to navigate. also like 2-3 pots are found solving the postcard puzzle and the door indicates how many pots you're missing. Idk, personally I didn't find it a hassle especially after I learned there was more content to unlock after finding all the tablets and i'm a somewhat completionist so it did bug me to not have 100%.
Using youtube guides and spending 2 hours planting seeds to get a video cutscene ending, that sounds like a great use of my time. Or I could just watch the (kinda shitty) cutscene and go play a different game instead.
“More Content to unlock” is subjective. To me, content in a game isn’t a video, it’s gameplay. I did the gravedigger fight and that’s it. Running around doing 7 different boring chores with the bare minimum of combat so I can watch a cutscene that doesn’t make sense to me because I didn’t play his other game first? I’m good.
When i finished the game i had five seeds left. In my inventory at least. Every single one of my doors was red except for the boss fights. Your right two hours isnt a crazy long time. But i finished the game in 12 hours in two sessions. Another two hours is like 20% of the whole game just running through the same sections for a cutscene and a 100% at the end. Nah id rather play sum else dog.
@@Ivanselectsongs literally did 6/7 and then stopped when I saw the seeds one was the 7th. Really dumb, since the whole game incentivized you to NOT plant seeds when you didn’t need them… one of the very few flaws in the game, but man is it a big one.
@@Ivanselectsongs You can with the peel find in what zone you forget the seeds xD If u finish the game, hit the bells in the graveyard and go in the door and check if it shines or not. If it shines, the seeds is in this zone and check with tuto :D

Now we just need someone to translate the symbols around the reaper bird. Are they fusing with Truth like the human before, being corrupted, given the power to fly? And I'd like to know what happened to the Human's body since they returned, but lost their soul. Is it a Kingdom Hearts 2 situation? And we don't' know who created the first Lord of Doors.
I just got this ending, it would've been better if it was shown how death's release bring peace and restoration to the whole map... it's the same old shit when I visit overgrown ruins, some random masked mofos trying to stab me with a knife.
I grinded and got all the upgrades, no way in hell am I doing this, just spent like an hour or 2 trying to beat Lord of Doors and Gray Crow, yes I’m bad at games like this. Edit: accidentally did the true ending, and am on a Umbrella only run right now, game’s addicting it’s weird. Edit 2: platinumed the game, super satisfying
I beat the game, but getting the true ending was wayy too much of a grind for me. So thank F people like you do it for us that can't stand the tediousness of shit like this. 💯
Not worth getting all the seeds..especially for those who have never played, or, like myself, never even heard of titan souls, it adds nothing to the plot other than the crows were essentially pawns the whole time..
the seed quest was dumb. i only planted like 20 seeds throughout the game cause they just weren’t useful and running through the entire map again sounds boring asf. it was a fun little game tho

You can find seeds easily whenewher you are in an area look if potheads shovel glows blue if it does theres a seed there. You also have to do it in nightime

The dagger that's supposed to help for the seeds is damn useless aswell, only glows slightly in your inventory and when you're literally steps away.
It's funny how people didn't find all the seeds during the gameplay. It wasn't even that hard just explore the environment and complete the story at the same time. I literally had to find 1 pot which I ended up missing in the manor. The only thing I actually looked up was the ghost statues.
is not that people didn't find them, simply many times didn't pick since you don't feel the need to have a seed on every pot, some places you just visit once and not worth to put there

i am hoping this is bait... i got this quite easily. the only thing that gave me trouble was the last seed i forgot at the old watchtowers. but all the other "trials" for the tablets was very straight forward. light some flames, find an owl 3 times, fight the secrete boss. guide 7 ghosts to there statues, beat avarice 4 in the overgrown forest and carry the squid boi to the frog kings domain but ya cant use the doors while he is on ya. the only "grind" is the seeds and most are out in the open with a few off the beaten path. but i'll let ya in on a secret. the shovel will glow blue at night if ya in an area with un-collected seeds plus the doors stop glowing once ya find everything and i do mean everything.

I wasted a whole goddamn hour trying to get into that twin tower in the cemetery and all I had to do is just go a bit further to the side lol! And I am embarrassed at how long it took me to realize that there is a code for the Urn Witch garden of love on the back side of the old photo! I must have scowered that place 20 times at least until I realized what I was supposed to do...

This entire f*cking Windwaker-Triforce-Quest, just for the weirdest origin Story to Kingdom Hearts I can imagine... I only beat the Gravestone head guy (or whatever he's called in English), first try... afterwards I couldn't bother to keep playing. Boring af late game and absolutely no rewarding feeling... I really hope they'll make a successor, but with better late game and weapons that actually change gameplay a bit more... I enjoyed the game until I beat the Gravestone-Head guy.
considering i got it as one of three games in a $15 steam bundle and the fact that this was made by 2 dudes, i thought it was very good. a bit lackluster compared to something like hades, where there's a full on independent studio behind it, but good for what it is. i just wish the difficulty was higher. maybe it's because i'm a From Software fan, but i don't think any boss or avarice or spell upgrade challenge took me more than 4-5 deaths max, and a lot of them i flashed on my first try.
idk i’m a pretty big FS fan as well and the old reaper + lord of doors took me quite a few attempts. mind you the only upgrade i found all game was the flame spell
@@cameron5760 stupid health system with little points and no healing. Upgrades don't feel powerful, like from 4 to 6 hp and mp at the final boss. Death pits and platforming in an isometric game. Also can't see yourself when behind bosses. And all this suffering is rewarded with a nonsence story about why all must die.

I searched out and found one extra life and magic crystal and gave up looking for the rest and just finished the game instead. Then promptly uninstalled and came to youtube to save myself a couple hours of fetch questing to see a cutscene.
