For about 10 minutes each time. Never once got it lol. As soon as I switched to up+attack at the same time as n those instances, i super counter. Those is all on the same training session lol. Idk what i have to do to make the “you can just hold up then press attack when timed” work.. maybe it’s a setting thing? Idk
@@TheFinalGob that is how it works. 1:20 if you look at the input at the bottom left, he holds up too. the square press is just precise, and if you miss it, you cant do it for a few seconds from what ive experienced. hold up, and press square ONCE when a hit lands, do not spam square, do not put the stick back down.
@@EinManUthis is a secret that many dont know, but if you use A + X (same setup as vanish assault), it also works the same as a super counter. I swear to God, go try it if you don’t believe me lmaooo. Im almost S5 I have way too many hours

It's not that you can't do it with guard assist on its that it's unnecessarily harder. Turn guard assist off and it's easier. Guard assist also messes up UI Goku and whis dodge mode

I’m so confused because everyone says you can, yet I know for a fact I can’t on my game version. If im not holding up I can do it like 4/5 times. The moment I switch to holding up and trying it, it just NEVER has EVER worked for me lol. My shit broke or something.
@@williamohora yea I use classic, no assists as my settings. Holding up then tapping attack doesn’t work for me though. Only tapping up and attack. Maybe I need to turn on an assist to have the “hold up” work?
On standard controls at least GUARD ASISST DOES NOT MESS WITH SUPER COUNTER. People keep spreading this MYTH but if you test it yourself you’ll see super counters come out perfectly fine even with guard assist on. It doesn’t count as an actual input. Manually pressing the button ALWAYS overrides the assist options

Question: Is it possible to Super Counter after a vanish war has already started? I'm able to pull off Super Counters somewhat consistently, but I've noticed I'm never able to land it mid-vanish war. Super counter works on vanishes, but if I start with a Z-counter, then Super Counter no longer works.
@@mugen4516 I’m 90% certain u cannot super counter once you z vanish back at them because then it becomes a z vanish class but u can super counter their z vanish attack over and over.

You can hold up. I do it all the time. But once you pull off a counter you'll need to push up and hold it again to do another.

I only recommend it during rush attack, its better practice to do it with the flick up at the right time
