These universities are out of control. They’re the gatekeepers for most of these professions and they’re bending the students over left and right. Yikes

We're in for an interesting few decades with this student loan situation...in the US...don't have any debt myself but a blind person can see what's coming will affect everyone

She was very perplexed by paying for his school out of pocket. Almost like she didn’t know you could do that...
It will never seize to amaze me that Americans say they are “doing great” when asked how they are doing, only to find out seconds later they really are not doing great and 300k in debt.

Crystal, send him to ODU it’s way cheaper and nobody cares where he gets his education. I’ve never asked my PT where they went to school, the licensing test is standardized anyway.
These large quantities of debt are really manageable within a few years, people just seem to have no financial literacy
The second Dave said "cashflow his school", he may as well have been speaking Greek because she was so shell-shocked she couldn't wrap her head around anything he said. A woman getting a taste of the reality of being the bread winner in a Dave Ramsey scenario.
300k in student loan debt.. suddenly I can't even see good. A good salary, but dang that debt is insane.
It always amazes me how rich these folks are and csnt figure out how to live below their means. I make 50k a year but live on 30k a year living on 50k a year would be enormous to me
