Both are interesting for different reasons I would say. PWT is an awsome challenge and White Tree/Black Tower are very useful to train your Pokemon and Battle Frontier has various challenges and a lot of replay value. Platinum post game is great too and has a lot of things to explore.

Gen 5 probably had some of the best variety of Pokemon across all 8 generations. Some of the mons are really good, like Venusaur, Charizard, Alakazam and Nidoking, but I feel I’d be able to easily make a strong team of 6 in Gen 5 compared to Gen 1.
Y'all don't know how happy to see people liking gen 5 again. Like I'm litterally obsessed with gen 5 that I bought all the mangas, figurines and the games!! So I'm so glad to see people still remember gen 5 nowadays!!
It seems people are finally realizing that we had it really good back then, this game was glorious and you could tell the love and effort they put into the game. We took it all for granted, and look where we are now.
5th Gen set such a high bar, I don’t know if it will ever be surpassed. They took risks and didn’t compromise, and they made something truly special because of it. This is the standard for me now by which all other Gens are judged. Thank you, GameFreak, for these absolute gems.

Pokemon Black was my first ever pokemon game and I will always love gen 5 because of that. I love a lot of the pokemon in it, including Trubbish and Vanillite. I got my first shiny in that game, too. Unfortunately, I lost my Pokemon black gamecard a while ago. Rip Shiny Star the Drifblim.
I don’t say this a lot but buy an r4 or download the rom so you can still have the game. Then do a legit pokehen and get your Pokémon back and transfer it up! Sure it’s not your “exact” Pokémon but you still get it back. Plus the r4 is handy, I have 2 and have all my retro games on it!
Gen 5 is like that weird middle child who don't get the attention it deserves now because of newer games that came after or people who remembers it since there are so many "older siblings" that came before.

Eh it’s a cycle. I remember pre-ORAS Gen 4 got a lot of dislike online. Prior to that I saw slowly diminishing dislike for gen 3. Once the gen 4 remakes hit, there will inevitably be a call for a gen 5 remake and a sudden and unexplainable surge of love for black and white as well as its sequels.
I remember how a person said that gen 5 is the most forgettable for features and pokemon, making a list on other generations bringing something impactful in game mechanics. Like how gen 2 gave day/night cycle or how another gen brought double battles and so on and he doesn't remember anything impactful of gen 5 and got 100 likes... Then someone brought up triple battles and animated sprites and seasons having impactful changes in the game and got 300 likes I love democracy
I always loved gen 5. Seeing all the hate since release has always been so disheartening. People only came around because something worse came after. For me, it almost feels a one giant "I told you so." Gen 5 was also interesting in that it set up the pokemon fanbase to learn that it can _always_ get worse considering what came after.
A veteran here (playing from RBY days). I remember when it came out, a lot of people hated on B/W. I was really skeptical due to those comments, yet me and my brother still play it. And tbh, one of best decisions i've ever made. With all new Pokémon before post-game, it feels like playing Pokémon for the first time again! And don't get me started with the features, moving pixel sprites, and Hidden abilities!
I’m only playing the game recently for the first time and I’m really really loving it so far, might just be my favorite pokemon game and I’m not even halfway yet. there’s also a tiny little detail I just love: as someone who’s learning japanese, I deeply appreciate the fact they put little tv segments teaching people japanese phrases so I can go jot them down on my notebook. I can tell they really cared about putting their all into this game. So many little details like that that are just really cool to see
Gen 5 was the generation that got me back into Pokémon! IMO it was the last truly amazing Pokémon games ever made and there will never another one like it!
I feel that black and white has a really amazing story. I would say it’s almost tied with Pokémon sun and moon since I enjoyed that story as well. But black and white also has my favorite starter Snivy and this game was my first one so nostalgic played a big factor as to why these games are my favorites.
I preferred Tepig way back when, but I'll restart my game occasionally after completing the main story and do a playthrough with oshowatt, my absolute favorite water type. The Unova region was about the same size as any other region but it just felt so big! The other games that try to make the setting big try to hard, like adding snowy environments to a tropic place which feels out of place, everything in Unova just fit and made sense! The story was not an average pokemon story and it was widely enjoyed by the fans who did play it, it added on to history so everytime you completed the story, it felt satisfying that you made a change for the better that even reached into the sequels of the 2 games!
I will forever love this game, it’s my favorite game of all time, and every time I play this game I tend to start crying because it takes me back. From the music to the pokemon and to the little Easter eggs, all of them are just perfect.

Generation five is of course objectively the best. It honestly confuses me when someone doesn't realize they're the best it's just weird. The best gameplay, graphics, story, Pokemon designs, content, etc. and I find if funny how team plasma is just peta--the lying, brainwashing, evilness, etc. it's honestly hilarious. I think everyone with a brain can agree generation five is the only one that really exists and is worth playing.

You lost me at best graphics and Pokemon designs. The graphics are literally worse than gen 4. They keep trying make everything look 3D, but the DS simply wasn't good enough to make 3D look good. They shrink or expand sprites to simulate depth, but it looks ugly and just reminds me of the awful back-sprites from gen 1. The Pokemon designs are also below par. I'm not talking about the ice cream cone or trash bag either. Conkeldurr is still the ugliest Pokemon to ever be made (and likely ever will), and the legendaries outside of Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem take literally all of the spots for the ugliest legendaries in the series (not counting the Therian forms introduced in B2/W2). Of course, I can respect that they made a far greater quantity of Pokemon in gen 5, but that doesn't excuse the low quality.
I love Gen 5. Always have, always will. It's my all-time favorite gen. I've had alot of fond memories playing White (I never owned Black Version. I wish I did tho.), and Black and White 2. If they ever do a remake of Gen 5, I would totally be down for it. And they should also include The Original Dragon.
The moving sprites are very nice. I prefer the sprites to the 3d builds, but I didn’t like the lack of movement. These games crossed the two things that I liked.
Hell, I wouldn’t even say gen 5 started being easy...considering it has some of the hardest Pokémon battles of all time (Lenora, Elesa, Drayden/Iris, The Elite Four (Caitlin in specific), the final battle with N, Ghetsis, and the Cynthia post game battle). The start of the easiness all lands on gen 6.
Oh and don't forget, if you wanted a harder gen 5 game, after beating the champion in Pokemon Black 2 or getting a key in Pokemon White 2, you could unlock challenge mode that not only made battles harder but increased the number of pokemon gym leaders and elite four members could have and changed their movesets.
Pokémon black and white are my favorite Pokémon games and the only one I own. I really love each and every Pokémon in Gen 5 and I love the lore behind the Tao trio and the swords of justice. Krookodile has always been my favorite Pokémon and I can’t wait to see if it gets a mega evolution in a few years
Hot take: Gen 5 was the last time Pokémon felt like MONSTERS. Bisharp, Druddigon, Haxorus, Mandibuzz, Gigalith, Krookodile, Scolipede, Beartic, Darmanitan, Carracosta, Archeops (pre 3D model), Zoroark, Kyurem, Galvantula... even the regional rodent and normal types like Bouffalant (swear I spelled that wrong). If you catch a small Pokemon like Scraggy or even Purrloin, it'll become an awesome looking beast. A pocket monster with style to them. They are all clearly Pokémon, but have a little more edge to them than previous gens. I mean, compare a fully evolved gen 5 mon to any other generation, and the Pokémon of other gens look like squeaky toys in comparison. Whenever I bring up gen 5 to people to any capacity, everyone always says "well it had the ice cream Pokemon so uh no'. This is so depressing, honestly. Amoung the previously mentioned Pokémon, who are awesome monsters, the Vanillite line is a pleasant change of pace. However, because it stands out from its gen 5 brothers, it gets pointed an laughed at, even though there are many other food based Pokémon like Eggsegcute, Cherruni and Appletun people don't mind. Food Pokémon were never an inherently bad thing; if EVERY Pokemon looked organic, the games would be lacking. It's a fun change of pace among this gens sharp menagerie. If they created an ice cream Pokémon in gen 4, it would wind up like Cherubi, and just be forgotten. If it was in gen 1, it would be kinda ugly like Voltorb, and lack it's cute face. The vanillite line looked great in gen 5, with it's sharp and textured ice and bright snow. I actually think the line is creative, gaining a new ice cream scoop upon evolution, kinda like Magneton. Even if you hate Vanillite, you can't deny someone put thought into creating it. It's unfair to dunk on a game just because three of it's 156 monsters aren't good in your eye. You are entitled to dislike it of course, but I've yet to find someone who hates ALL of gen 5, so why write it all off because of a fun ice cream monster? I guess what I'm trying to say is; This was the last Pokémon generation to have STYLE.
Black and White are well nostalgic, Generation 5 was when I was introduced to the series through the anime and the cards when I was like 8. Despite only playing the games fairly recently, it's become my favourite in the series, along with Gen 7.
at first, when i bought black and white, i didn't enjoy it and left it unplayed for years until i started playing it again roughly two months ago. now, after beating it, i see it as truly the best pokémon games after all, especially after playing the newer games. black and white along with B2W2, provided challenges for me and made completing the games all the more satisfying for me. i've really come to appreciate gen5 more after replaying it. great video btw ♡

Playing gen 5 right now! It hurts when people poke fun at my fav gen. Heartgold was my first game, and it was beautiful, yes, but Pokemon White made me cry. The scene where reshiram emerges and lets out a cry, that still makes me cry, it was such a perfectly beautiful moment. And a lot of people don't like the anime but I disagree. And I also found it interesting the anime took on an even darker topic when it comes to pokemon abuse in one episode. ANIME SPOILER: Ash meets a tepig with It's mouth tied shut so it can't eat. Whoever did that wanted that tepig to starve, and it was so skinny. Like oh man, that's dark. Like charmander was abandoned, but the kid didn't make it rain to kill him! And what's with this fire starter abuse? Charmander, Chimchar, and tepig, all truamatized in their own ways! Crazy!
Maybe just a remaster of both bw and bw2 with some QoL changes like asking to use another repel in bw because that was only introduced in bw2, ability capsule, a page to check ev, bottle cap and nature mints because PWT is still my favorite battle facility as well as no more split screen for the cutscenes but please no remake. Gen 5 has perfected the 2D style and it just won’t feel right in 3D. Also maybe include the later gym leaders/kahunas and champions in PWT and an elite 4 tournament. Lastly this is just wishful thinking that’ll never happen but have character sprites like most jrpgs when there’s important dialog. I mean they do already have the assets for most of the character sprites in the xtransceiver as well as n’s cutscene at the Ferris wheel they just have to get a few more facial expressions in, make one for ghetsis, the gym leaders, the elite 4 and the champion and voila
my first encounter with pokemon was when i was 6 or 7 and i got a toy Tepig with my McDonald's kids meal. I loved it SO much for some reason, and since then any time i play a pokemon game/fangame i ALWAYS pick tepig if i'm able to.
Alder's story made him my favourite champion of all time. There are plenty of places like lavender town's pokemon towere where you see that pokemon have died. But with Black/White you get to see how his partner's death affected Alder's outlook on people, pokemon and the relationships they have together. And that's reflected in what he says to Cheren about people who enjoy just being with their pokemon for fun instead of trying to become the pokemon league champion.

Thank you so much for being one of the few to say nice things about B/W and B2/W2. 💕 so refreshing to hear these games are developing a well deserved following. Seasons, full moving sprites, haxorus, the shiny charm, like what gen 4 remakes SHOULD be!
I feel like Black and White and additionally Black and White 2 story was probably the best one executed out of the entire franchise, The story in both 1st and 2nd games was very well planned out and felt more suitable for the audience who was a little more in the mature section unlike the other stories where it was for directed for the younger audience (Not meaning to spread any hate on that, the other games are still good.). The villains had actually some pretty good motives and reasons for what they did and even further bringing out actual life lessons that can be relatable in real life. N wanted to separate pokemon from humans due to abuse (Which is similar to humans to animal abuse), Ghetisis wanted to take over the world through manipulation of both people and humans and carefully planned each step without giving it away, and so forth. Why this game is still considered underrated, I will honestly never know.
The Gen 5 are easily my favourite Pokémon games of all time. It makes me so happy to keep finding videos of people praising the game I have loved since day 1! One reason I feel like it’s getting so much love in the recent years is because all Pokémon fans that were between 9-12 approx when we were playing it were just kids and either didn’t use the internet much and if we did we probably didn’t have TH-cam accounts and were making videos on why we love Gen 5, the only Pokémon content you would find is basically Genwunners being nostalgic. Also most of us probably didn’t know that other Pokémon fans didn’t like the “only new Pokémon” cuz we were just excited to play games in general. But now that the kids are adults now, like me and my friends, we share opinions online, and find others also around our age doing the same thing and it’s all really heartwarming and it’s one of the things I love about the internet 😁 Long story long I love Unova, to the Nth degree. Pun 100% intended 😉

I can't front. I was CRUSHED when I saw I couldn't get my precious Gyarados in the start of the game, the GAWD after the physical/special split from gen 4 that you could always get early, but after I got over that, I enjoyed how different this was. To surprise myself more, I didn't even look up the Dex, so I let myself be truly surprised by every new encounter and battle.
Gen 5 was the time when I saw Pokemon for the first time back in 2012 when I was 6 year old... In india Pokemon anime was really hyped that time... Really nostalgic

Gen 5 has one of the BEST storylines hands down. One of my favorite games.

Gen 5 is like the sonic unleashed of the gen. People hated it back then, but now people appreciate it and love it
BW & BW2 are my favorite Pokemon games. They don't make 'em like they used to.

A veteran here (playing from RBY days). I remember when it came out, a lot of people hated on B/W. I was really skeptical due to those comments, yet me and my brother still play it. And tbh, one of best decisions i've ever made. With all new Pokémon before post-game, it feels like playing Pokémon for the first time again! And don't get me started with the features, moving pixel sprites, and Hidden abilities!
I’m only playing the game recently for the first time and I’m really really loving it so far, might just be my favorite pokemon game and I’m not even halfway yet. there’s also a tiny little detail I just love: as someone who’s learning japanese, I deeply appreciate the fact they put little tv segments teaching people japanese phrases so I can go jot them down on my notebook. I can tell they really cared about putting their all into this game. So many little details like that that are just really cool to see
Gen 5 was the generation that got me back into Pokémon! IMO it was the last truly amazing Pokémon games ever made and there will never another one like it!

I feel that black and white has a really amazing story. I would say it’s almost tied with Pokémon sun and moon since I enjoyed that story as well. But black and white also has my favorite starter Snivy and this game was my first one so nostalgic played a big factor as to why these games are my favorites.
I preferred Tepig way back when, but I'll restart my game occasionally after completing the main story and do a playthrough with oshowatt, my absolute favorite water type. The Unova region was about the same size as any other region but it just felt so big! The other games that try to make the setting big try to hard, like adding snowy environments to a tropic place which feels out of place, everything in Unova just fit and made sense! The story was not an average pokemon story and it was widely enjoyed by the fans who did play it, it added on to history so everytime you completed the story, it felt satisfying that you made a change for the better that even reached into the sequels of the 2 games!

I will forever love this game, it’s my favorite game of all time, and every time I play this game I tend to start crying because it takes me back. From the music to the pokemon and to the little Easter eggs, all of them are just perfect.
gen 5 has always been my favorite(although i may be biased since it was the first one i ever played and i have yet to go back and play earlier gens) and it deserves all the love we have to offer and more

Imo I feel like gen 5 was the pinnacle of Pokémon in terms of creativity. I have heard that platinum and the gen 2 remakes are also very good but I sadly missed out
Absolutely Under-rated. Black and White give player a fresh and totally kinda Whole NEW feeling, which is now pokemon games are a little bit of lack of.

I actually love how gen 5 is a peak were it starts getting diverse which I'm happy with. I respect gen 5 for at least not bringing nor getting baby Pokemon or new evolution for past gen Pokemon because it would felt cheap imo because gen 4 done it and to me it felt like none of the Pokemon weren't originally from the that region imo. I love gen 7 and gen 5 the most

Loved bw so much that while I having trouble playing through the game (I'm fkn weak at battles), I still stucked playing it till today (just restarted the game a month ago, it's my 6th replay)
I have been playing pokemon since 1998 and still play to this day. Black and white are probably one of my favorite game in the series. Very underated
Generation five is of course objectively the best. It honestly confuses me when someone doesn't realize they're the best it's just weird. The best gameplay, graphics, story, Pokemon designs, content, etc. and I find if funny how team plasma is just peta--the lying, brainwashing, evilness, etc. it's honestly hilarious. I think everyone with a brain can agree generation five is the only one that really exists and is worth playing.

You lost me at best graphics and Pokemon designs.
The graphics are literally worse than gen 4. They keep trying make everything look 3D, but the DS simply wasn't good enough to make 3D look good. They shrink or expand sprites to simulate depth, but it looks ugly and just reminds me of the awful back-sprites from gen 1.
The Pokemon designs are also below par. I'm not talking about the ice cream cone or trash bag either. Conkeldurr is still the ugliest Pokemon to ever be made (and likely ever will), and the legendaries outside of Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem take literally all of the spots for the ugliest legendaries in the series (not counting the Therian forms introduced in B2/W2). Of course, I can respect that they made a far greater quantity of Pokemon in gen 5, but that doesn't excuse the low quality.
It really upsets me that people really don't seem to care about gen 5, white 2 was my first pokemon game so I have a lot of nostalgia for it

I love Gen 5. Always have, always will. It's my all-time favorite gen. I've had alot of fond memories playing White (I never owned Black Version. I wish I did tho.), and Black and White 2. If they ever do a remake of Gen 5, I would totally be down for it. And they should also include The Original Dragon.
The moving sprites are very nice. I prefer the sprites to the 3d builds, but I didn’t like the lack of movement. These games crossed the two things that I liked.
Hell, I wouldn’t even say gen 5 started being easy...considering it has some of the hardest Pokémon battles of all time (Lenora, Elesa, Drayden/Iris, The Elite Four (Caitlin in specific), the final battle with N, Ghetsis, and the Cynthia post game battle). The start of the easiness all lands on gen 6.
Oh and don't forget, if you wanted a harder gen 5 game, after beating the champion in Pokemon Black 2 or getting a key in Pokemon White 2, you could unlock challenge mode that not only made battles harder but increased the number of pokemon gym leaders and elite four members could have and changed their movesets.

Pokémon black and white are my favorite Pokémon games and the only one I own. I really love each and every Pokémon in Gen 5 and I love the lore behind the Tao trio and the swords of justice. Krookodile has always been my favorite Pokémon and I can’t wait to see if it gets a mega evolution in a few years
Hot take: Gen 5 was the last time Pokémon felt like MONSTERS. Bisharp, Druddigon, Haxorus, Mandibuzz, Gigalith, Krookodile, Scolipede, Beartic, Darmanitan, Carracosta, Archeops (pre 3D model), Zoroark, Kyurem, Galvantula... even the regional rodent and normal types like Bouffalant (swear I spelled that wrong). If you catch a small Pokemon like Scraggy or even Purrloin, it'll become an awesome looking beast. A pocket monster with style to them. They are all clearly Pokémon, but have a little more edge to them than previous gens. I mean, compare a fully evolved gen 5 mon to any other generation, and the Pokémon of other gens look like squeaky toys in comparison.
Whenever I bring up gen 5 to people to any capacity, everyone always says "well it had the ice cream Pokemon so uh no'. This is so depressing, honestly. Amoung the previously mentioned Pokémon, who are awesome monsters, the Vanillite line is a pleasant change of pace. However, because it stands out from its gen 5 brothers, it gets pointed an laughed at, even though there are many other food based Pokémon like Eggsegcute, Cherruni and Appletun people don't mind. Food Pokémon were never an inherently bad thing; if EVERY Pokemon looked organic, the games would be lacking. It's a fun change of pace among this gens sharp menagerie. If they created an ice cream Pokémon in gen 4, it would wind up like Cherubi, and just be forgotten. If it was in gen 1, it would be kinda ugly like Voltorb, and lack it's cute face. The vanillite line looked great in gen 5, with it's sharp and textured ice and bright snow. I actually think the line is creative, gaining a new ice cream scoop upon evolution, kinda like Magneton. Even if you hate Vanillite, you can't deny someone put thought into creating it. It's unfair to dunk on a game just because three of it's 156 monsters aren't good in your eye. You are entitled to dislike it of course, but I've yet to find someone who hates ALL of gen 5, so why write it all off because of a fun ice cream monster?
I guess what I'm trying to say is; This was the last Pokémon generation to have STYLE.
Black and White are well nostalgic, Generation 5 was when I was introduced to the series through the anime and the cards when I was like 8. Despite only playing the games fairly recently, it's become my favourite in the series, along with Gen 7.
God the soundtrack
at first, when i bought black and white, i didn't enjoy it and left it unplayed for years until i started playing it again roughly two months ago. now, after beating it, i see it as truly the best pokémon games after all, especially after playing the newer games.
black and white along with B2W2, provided challenges for me and made completing the games all the more satisfying for me. i've really come to appreciate gen5 more after replaying it. great video btw ♡

I’m a 5th gen child and Pokemon white 2 was the first Pokémon game I bought for myself despite playing my older brothers Pokémon games before hands. I never regret buying white two and I love the story.

Playing gen 5 right now! It hurts when people poke fun at my fav gen. Heartgold was my first game, and it was beautiful, yes, but Pokemon White made me cry. The scene where reshiram emerges and lets out a cry, that still makes me cry, it was such a perfectly beautiful moment.
And a lot of people don't like the anime but I disagree. And I also found it interesting the anime took on an even darker topic when it comes to pokemon abuse in one episode.
ANIME SPOILER:
Ash meets a tepig with It's mouth tied shut so it can't eat. Whoever did that wanted that tepig to starve, and it was so skinny. Like oh man, that's dark. Like charmander was abandoned, but the kid didn't make it rain to kill him! And what's with this fire starter abuse? Charmander, Chimchar, and tepig, all truamatized in their own ways! Crazy!
Gen 5 has been my favorite gen since it came out so when people start to love it I want unova to know I was always there for it😭

Maybe just a remaster of both bw and bw2 with some QoL changes like asking to use another repel in bw because that was only introduced in bw2, ability capsule, a page to check ev, bottle cap and nature mints because PWT is still my favorite battle facility as well as no more split screen for the cutscenes but please no remake. Gen 5 has perfected the 2D style and it just won’t feel right in 3D. Also maybe include the later gym leaders/kahunas and champions in PWT and an elite 4 tournament. Lastly this is just wishful thinking that’ll never happen but have character sprites like most jrpgs when there’s important dialog. I mean they do already have the assets for most of the character sprites in the xtransceiver as well as n’s cutscene at the Ferris wheel they just have to get a few more facial expressions in, make one for ghetsis, the gym leaders, the elite 4 and the champion and voila
my first encounter with pokemon was when i was 6 or 7 and i got a toy Tepig with my McDonald's kids meal. I loved it SO much for some reason, and since then any time i play a pokemon game/fangame i ALWAYS pick tepig if i'm able to.
Gen 5 is cool
Alder's story made him my favourite champion of all time. There are plenty of places like lavender town's pokemon towere where you see that pokemon have died. But with Black/White you get to see how his partner's death affected Alder's outlook on people, pokemon and the relationships they have together. And that's reflected in what he says to Cheren about people who enjoy just being with their pokemon for fun instead of trying to become the pokemon league champion.

I feel like Black and White and additionally Black and White 2 story was probably the best one executed out of the entire franchise, The story in both 1st and 2nd games was very well planned out and felt more suitable for the audience who was a little more in the mature section unlike the other stories where it was for directed for the younger audience (Not meaning to spread any hate on that, the other games are still good.). The villains had actually some pretty good motives and reasons for what they did and even further bringing out actual life lessons that can be relatable in real life. N wanted to separate pokemon from humans due to abuse (Which is similar to humans to animal abuse), Ghetisis wanted to take over the world through manipulation of both people and humans and carefully planned each step without giving it away, and so forth. Why this game is still considered underrated, I will honestly never know.

The Gen 5 are easily my favourite Pokémon games of all time.
It makes me so happy to keep finding videos of people praising the game I have loved since day 1! One reason I feel like it’s getting so much love in the recent years is because all Pokémon fans that were between 9-12 approx when we were playing it were just kids and either didn’t use the internet much and if we did we probably didn’t have TH-cam accounts and were making videos on why we love Gen 5, the only Pokémon content you would find is basically Genwunners being nostalgic. Also most of us probably didn’t know that other Pokémon fans didn’t like the “only new Pokémon” cuz we were just excited to play games in general.
But now that the kids are adults now, like me and my friends, we share opinions online, and find others also around our age doing the same thing and it’s all really heartwarming and it’s one of the things I love about the internet 😁

I can't front. I was CRUSHED when I saw I couldn't get my precious Gyarados in the start of the game, the GAWD after the physical/special split from gen 4 that you could always get early, but after I got over that, I enjoyed how different this was.
To surprise myself more, I didn't even look up the Dex, so I let myself be truly surprised by every new encounter and battle.
I agree these games are underrated. In my opinion I thoroughly enjoyed playing all games from every generation.

I honestly don’t like this argument. I think pokemon like that are fine when it’s your first generation, like they had to start somewhere, but after 5 generations? Not really good. No hate to any of those pokemon, I’m just saying this argument is overused too much when in reality it doesn’t make much sense
