- The debris from a missile that landed in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on January 2 was from a North Korean Hwasong-11 series ballistic missile. As per Russian state media, the document cannot be considered an expert report as it was prepared by several specialists with a different sphere of expertise. Russian current production is not only for teh Ukraine war but also for the future wars with NATO or for sale to countries unfriendly to NATO. So, using NK weapons is a cheap way to conduct this war.

Russia can use North Korea missiles if North Korea gave these missiles as a military offer or charity and this is possible because North Korea would wish to utilize this opportunity to source and strengthen relationship with Russia during this time of crisis. Because if this opportunity passes without North Korea using it there will be no any other time North Korea can use to get reliable and important Friends and allies.
This however, does not mean Russia has run out of missiles. It has them enough to utilize for decades and decades.
