Hello dearest Michael and Richard❤️❤️ I love hitting the road with you guys! That auction house is amazing! You always find the best treasures and the prices were great. I adore all the miniature furniture. I would furnish a closet with it all. 🥰
I really enjoyed the auction and there were a lot of items I would have bid on. you both got a lot of lots you were interested in, so it was enjoyable for both of you.
Had me drooling 🤤over some of that Auction House's backrooms. Over the years I've collected so many items (spent a fortune). but I know when I'm gone my Ignorant family will most likely yard sell everything for a nickel on the dollar {sigh}... Wish you two made road trips to buy collections (like Antique Archeology) the tv series.
Hi M & R, love the video, what a great auction. Those old bears omg. I think you two should consider opening an antique shop, a small one. Just a Sunday thought. Hope you feel better soon Michael. Thank you. ❤
Thank you so much! It is definitely something Richard and I have discussed. We have so much going on right now that it would be incredibly difficult to give it the time and resources that would be needed. Who knows what the future may hold. 😉
@@The.Cult.Of.Vintage Hi..Sooo nice to hear from you, thank you. Yes a shop is a commitment for sure. I have rented a booth in many places and one booth is work but I am a lot older than you lol. It’s nice to have the option. Love watching you and Richard, such a wonderful couple. ❤❤

This video was so fun!!!! Loved that you got so many things outside the box trend stuff!!! The rugs are great! My problem with rugs is I need to tie it in with what furnishings I have going on at the time. Trust me, you don’t want to go down any of those rabbit holes! So I look away when I see rugs!
How fun this was to watch. You guys got some wonderful pieces, can see why those smiles are on your faces😊 love the drive home talk, always learn something I didn’t know. Hope you guys are feeling better🙏🏻
I really loved this video it was awesome getting to have the interaction with Richard he's so soft spoken but so interesting more with you and Richard please of course your just as awesome 😊
Some say the Lincoln Rocker was used in his law office (that design) but others say it was the chair he was shot in but I tend to think it was the type in his law office.
That was fun! But please, stop distracting Richard when he's driving! (😂) He looked away from the road long enough to make me nervous! (But then again, I may be personally sensitive at the moment.😂)
Hey guys! Yall got some great things today. Michael I especially love your tiny doll furniture. It's stunning!! I have collected miniatures for 60 years and have soooo many cool things. I loved the dressers and they were amazing. So please show more zolpidem shoes. Loved Richard's rugs too. They have charm about them. Yall had a great day and I enjoyed it alot. Keep it up!! Love u guys!!
I very much enjoyed being taken along on your trip to the auction house and then to listen to your conversation on the drive home. I continue to learn something new each time I watched your videos. Thank you!
Such cool stuff. I’ve always had an appreciation for antique and vintage, but the more you’re exposed to stuff you’ve never seen before is so fascinating and enjoyable! Thanx for taking us along. Happy for you and your delectable finds! I’ve never been to an auction. Perhaps I’ve seen too many I love Lucy shows where if you scratch your nose- You bought a Renoir!😂
Love the textile and sewing notions collages! And I agree with taking some of them to the next level. How is the house renovation coming along?? Love the rocker that Richard got!!
I got my teeny, tiny, ittsy, bitsy, Native American frozen charlotte in the mail! (From VAMP) He is soooooo tiny! I love him! Thank you Michael for the VAMP pin!!!
🌱🌺🌱🌺🌱🌺🌱 I haven't been to a Live Auction in years !! And most of them were inside a tent 🎪. You Two found Some Beautiful Treasures 💗. Michael, that tall Vase was Soooooo Cool ! I believe that i like everything You Guys bought ! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank You for letting me tag along. Please; Let's Do it again sometime. 🌱🌺🌱🌺🌱🌺🌱🌺
As a reseller that auction house has a lot of awesome deals to buy and resell! I agree that seeing the item in person is the best way to really be able to examine the item.
I was worried for you and getting it all in the car! Good job! I love your esthetic. It’s different from other resellers which is great. You give me good ideas and style options i might not have thought of myself.

🤣 Well...if you find THAT rug...perfect reason to redecorate! 😜
I love how y'all discuss the auction like we discuss a play on the way home from the theatre!😊❤
🤣🤣 Serious, thought-provoking issues you know!
The furry clam furby is um……… a hairy clam…….. um……… OMG!!!
That was fun and interesting! Thank you both!😊❤ the car discussion was fun too!😊
It was nice to see Apple Tree "in person"...I bought the "Romance in the Dark" 1937 window card...can't wait to add it to my collection!!
OMGOSH, that is awesome! I hope you enjoy it as much as we are enjoying our purchases!
I have a 12 inch high walnut rocker with natural cane seat and back like the one in this video. Perfect for a doll or teddy bear.
Great video. We in California don’t have auctions like you do. So interesting. Enjoyed your discussion after the auction.
Oh no, that is horrible to hear! Perhaps a lot of those antiques didn't make it that far, at least for that time period
This was a fun adventure with you and Richard. So many great items you guys purchased and others just to see. I love a good auction. ❤️
My daughter collects Victorian items. Those frames with the displays are great. Thank u for showing. BWT I love ur candor. Heidi
Richard is usually very quiet in the videos so I love seeing him so enthusiastic talking about the items
Thank you for showing the dolls
PS: the car packing was GREAT!
What type of car/SUV/Minivan it that (will keep in mind when the time comes to go car-shopping)
It is a Honda Pilot (3rd row) which obviously folds doen for extra trunk space.
Always gonna show those dolls! ❤️
Just love how you always seem to find such nice miniature furniture .thanks for the ride.
Some say the Lincoln Rocker was used in his law office (that design) but others say it was the chair he was shot in but I tend to think it was the type in his law office.
It was the style of rocker he was sitting in when he was shot by John W. Booth at Ford's Theater
Richard is very happy with his haul🥰
That was fun! But please, stop distracting Richard when he's driving! (😂) He looked away from the road long enough to make me nervous!
(But then again, I may be personally sensitive at the moment.😂)
Joan, I promise, we are safe! Certainly understandable! Especially with some of the craziness on the road!
What fun that was! Love your choices ❣️ thanks for taking us along ❣️
I'm very impresses with Richards packing...Heidi

I really liked going to the auction with ya'll as well as the commentary after.
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations

It was great you could pick up your spoils from both auctions in one trip.
I’ve never been to an auction, you guys have given me the “itch” to try one out. Another great video! Thanks 😊
You would do a great framed antique collection! I have a frame like that, but will wait for you to show how to do it!

Enjoyed this episode.
Love the frames you got Michael! Can’t wait to see your sewing collages!
Grrrreat prices. Wonderful things!
Richard is the Tetris King! My son would leave me sitting on the curb if I tried to shove all that in our car.
Lots of wind in Santa Fe...polin swirling all around...ty boys...❤
The hairy clam furby! OMG!
Hey guys ❤❤
Barbies the first ones! My favorite
The vase you purchased was that a German majolica piece?
How did you read Lasher without reading The Witching Hour? That chair! Is that Jerry Garcia?
Well, whadaya know! Like a rocket, my comment shot out into cyberspace and vanished in thin air!!
Love the rocking chair. Do you know how old it is?

That's Furbys friend Shellby! They talk to each other! I have 3 Furbys and 2 Shellbys. If you ignore Shellby he screams Boring Boring Boring!

What is the name of this auction house🥰
Little secret. I bought a box of amethyst crystals once. And they glowed like a son of a gun. Check them out.

🥰🥰🥰
I believe the "Teddy" bear began with a political cartoon based on a Roosevelt's refusal to personally shoot a bear that had been clubbed and tied during a hunting outing he was attending. Morris Michton, a candy shop owner in Brooklyn and his wife, saw the cartoon and it inspired them to make a stuffed bear dedicated to Roosevelt...it was originally "Teddy's Bear".
Really?
Yes, and Margaret Steiff decided to make the Teddybear after that. Before, the Steiff company made soft animals like elephants.❣️
Yes. That is story I have always heard how the Teddy Bear got its name.
Interesting story

Talk about dusty and dirty
