Watched the tree trim this morning and for the love of God please do more of these videos! I loved it, very real life as we all know how much work goes into decorating. You are a natural too, I laughed a lot which is great at 5:30 am! You did a beautiful job on the tree, reminded me of the holiday trees that Jordan Marsh displayed in their stores in the late 1950s (yikes). Brought back some great memories of my saint of a mother dragging 5 kids around the store to shop. Looking forward to the next video Michael, thank you. ❤🎄❤🎄
I love that you're not afraid to go buy new ornaments to diy with. It would be so expensive to try to make that garland out of vintage ornaments! Good job!
Ty MT for taking us along you are never boring just so much fun explaining why you like something & I ❤ your ideas & the flocked 🎄 with snow so perfect! ❤ Nan 🖐 🌴 🦩👍😉 hi to Richard & 🐶 🐶
Our first Christmas tree back when we got married was a flocked tree we found at wal mart clearance for 15.00, miss those days. Now we have a full white tree and I put pink boas on as tinsel. That tree you are putting up is fabulous
Michael wow ❤ the tree came out gorgeous I always buy right after Xmas I got a 7 ft white tree @ 90 % off paying $40.00 I did all red bulbs red cardinals red bells poinsettia and other red items I also picked up thru the year! I want to say thank you for sharing, I wasn't even going to do my 🎄 I recently lost my brother to cancer 😢 Christmas 🤶 was his favorite holiday and was amazing decorating tree(s) I'm definitely going to put my tree up in memory of him, his name was also Michael 😊 again I was truly blessed 🙏 finding your video ❤
Oh, Ann!!! Thank you, thank you!! I am so sure Michael will take the greatest of joys seeing you decorate that tree! He will be with you from beginning to end for sure! 😇
Beautiful just isn't enough to say. Absolutely Breath Taking. Love it Michael. Merry Christmas Michael and Richard. Merry Christmas Mama Wanda ,and Gracie and Louie. Have the Best of Holidays. God Bless!
Enjoyed the shopping, preparing, and decorating of this lovely tree. Your style and creative inspiration is great to see come to life. Thanks for showing us all how not to over complicate but enjoy creating decor. The principles you demonstrated work well whether using new or vintage items.
Thank you so much for referencing the mm size of the ornaments. I don’t work with them enough to look at one and know the size right off the bat. This video was really helpful and I appreciated your comments about building an ornament garland. Thanks again. I hope you have an awesome Christmas 🌲❤️🌲
Thank you for actually purchasing these items! I watch so many DIY's where they start of fine with things from the craft store or dollar store, but then half of the stuff that they use they pull it from their stash or say that they are using stuff they had laying around. We don't all have that. It is a beautiful tree!
Well, there is a lot we did have around the house. I really wanted a start to finish the project and thought it best just to showcase what I had to get! I appreciate it! ❤️
Thank you for sharing your process of doing the decorating event tree. It was very interesting to see that and it's very beautiful in the public atrium of the Inn.
You have a great eye Michael! Love the tips and who doesn't like saving money? But I am not a fan of Hobby Lobby. Would much prefer styling with vintage but I know you are styling for more public spaces and your collections would be for private decoration. Nice to see you pop up on my video feed!
thank you, Carin. Yes, we wanted to sleep well knowing if anything got damaged, destroyed, or lost, it wouldn't be heartbreaking. Keep an eye out. We will be showing our personal tree... only antique ornaments!
It turned out so beautiful and I really got great inspiration. I have about 30 years worth of ornaments including a couple 100 Christmas red, gold , white, and silver balls. Now that we’ve been permanent empty nesters for a few years now I think I’m going to stop putting their childhood handmade ornaments on the tree 🌲 I’ll start doing that again once our future grandchildren make us ornaments 🎅
I just thought of a cute DIY that a lot of us resellers could probably do... Make napkin rings out of brooches I have a load of Christmas brooches, yes they will all be different but it will be cute! I would just have to think of what I will attach the Brooches to that will hold the napkins Like make something circular.
Just a beautiful tree🎄I’m a clearance shopper too. It would look great to have another one by the other side of door! Either red or green! Any color really🎄
I totally understand the whole nutcracker thing. My son started collecting them when he was 5 years old. A group from where I worked took our kids to see the Atlanta Ballet preforming The Nutcracker. My boss had a small nutcracker ornament on her desk, he picked it up to look and she gave it to him. He turns 41 in February and has about 200 and no 2 are alike. They all come out every Christmas. 😊
My stepmother was the queen of wrapping presents. You almost didnt want to unwrap it. Every year we would be at Hallmark at O dark thirty day after Christmas.
The tree is beautiful. Only i would buy some ornament hooks. I'd go back if i forgot them. It was a lot of work to make your own. You did an amazing job. 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
You mentioned you were going to make Chex Mix. I don’t know how you make yours, but I do mine in the microwave and it comes out perfect. I do use more seasoning than the recipe calls for as we like it very savory. The tree is BEAUTIFUL!!! Very reminiscent‘’🎶🎵White Christmas 🎵🎶
A beautiful tree. Your decoration method reminded me of my college job as a window dresser at a Parisian department store. I want to decorated my flocked white tree like yours but instead of red, I want monochromatic blue ornaments. Happy Holidays!
Hello Mildred! Keep in mind this tree is in a public space open to the comings and goings of our guests. Using vintage ornaments may present a sad situation of them becoming damaged, broken, or lost. Keep your eye out for our personal tree, ALL antique ornaments!
I love it but it needs bows! I used to work at a nursery that turned into a Christmas shop every year as a bowoogist. Once did 4 trees in Manhattan with 15-00 ed bows on each tree My fingers were so sore. Anybody want.a bow lesson??? Let me knlow and I will make one. The thing about not doing a 360 tree is that it can tip over. Happened to me. It took like 6 guys to life it up back into the stand.
Lovely! Would've tucked in just a few!!!! white and red birds.
Jane, I was thinking about it, but the dang costs, I was trying to behave! 🤣
Can anyone creative "behave" at Chrristmas? Get some birds, or it'll nag at you, now that you're thinking about it. 🤣 Love to you both!
My spirit animal is definitely the vintage knee hugging pixies!!! Michael...she's stunning!!! Thanks for this awesome video!!! ❤ 🎄 ❤
Absolutely stunning.

Wow…it’s stunning…you really have the knack of tree decoration… how many people approached you to decorate their place🎄🎄…thank you Michael.❤❤
I truly enjoyed watching you decorate! Wish you would do more.
Well, hope no more! More are coming VERY soon! 🥰
@@The.Cult.Of.Vintage looking forward to more too!
Gorgeous🎄🎁
Absolutely beautiful!
I love that you're not afraid to go buy new ornaments to diy with. It would be so expensive to try to make that garland out of vintage ornaments! Good job!
Thank you, Rachel! Yes, the cost of vintage would be exorbitant, not to mention having it in a public space would be of great concern!
I enjoyed watching the whole process of shopping to the final decorations. Beautiful!
Thank you, Susie! It was a lot of fun and I felt creative again!!
Ty MT for taking us along you are never boring just so much fun explaining why you like something & I ❤ your ideas & the flocked 🎄 with snow so perfect! ❤ Nan 🖐 🌴 🦩👍😉 hi to Richard & 🐶 🐶
Thank you, Nan! ❤️ I had so much fun doing it, and I really felt creative again!!

What a beautiful tribute to your brother.
Those napkin rings are glitterlichous.
Rhonda, were they not!? They would make for amazing brooches!

Thank you, Sandra! I really appreciate it! While The Inn is a safe place, the last thing we want is damaged or missing vintage Christmas ornaments!
Thank you so much for referencing the mm size of the ornaments. I don’t work with them enough to look at one and know the size right off the bat. This video was really helpful and I appreciated your comments about building an ornament garland. Thanks again. I hope you have an awesome Christmas 🌲❤️🌲
That is a beautiful tree. Your hard work has paid off for sure
I got almost all of the same things you did, but went with the glitter center of the flowers. It just looks more magical to me.
Beth went extra glitzy! Get it, lady! ✨️✨️
Stunningly Spectacular Tree Michael!!! ♥️🤍♥️🤍♥️🤍♥️🤍

Beautiful tree. I never thought about getting garland and cutting the flowers off. I'll do that next time, it will save money.
Hi Michael 🎄🎄You did a beautiful job on your Christmas tree 🎄🦋🎄
Thank you, Diane! Appreciate it! ❤️
I just thought of a cute DIY that a lot of us resellers could probably do... Make napkin rings out of brooches I have a load of Christmas brooches, yes they will all be different but it will be cute! I would just have to think of what I will attach the Brooches to that will hold the napkins Like make something circular.
I bet you could get bulk plain napkin rings on Amazon and just crazy glue them on!
I'm an old fashioned antique ornament and bubble light Christmas tree kind of lady❤
Just a beautiful tree🎄I’m a clearance shopper too. It would look great to have another one by the other side of door! Either red or green! Any color really🎄
Like your cardigan. Festive but not over done.
Lovely❤❤❤
Thank you, Michelle! ❤️
Well that was fun!!!!
Well, thank you, Rachel! ❤️
I love how the trees are decorated in stores, but at home my tree is full of random ornaments with no theme😄 Your tree is beautiful!

It's a beautiful tree Micheal. Very impressive! Great job!
Wow! Truly beautiful, loved watching you put this together
Beautiful 😍
Thank you, Michele! ❤️
Obsessed. But I am not going to lie, I am just saying, I am not vibing with Hobby Lobby. IYKYK.
I know. It's a moral thing for me
Same here. IK
Thank you, Jane! ❤️
My family has boycotted HL for years. I cannot support them and their political stance.
Old pictures are cute in the place card holder too!
Jean, that is a great idea too!! ❤️
Oh I did enjoy this and you still made me laugh, Bravo Michael for a beautiful tree!
Gorgeous!!!
Enjoyed this video 😊
The tree is beautiful. Only i would buy some ornament hooks. I'd go back if i forgot them. It was a lot of work to make your own. You did an amazing job. 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
Nice restraint at Hobby Lobby. I usually get what I went for, then end up with an equal amount of other goodies. The tree turned out fantastic.
Girl, I'll take your word for it, I only use the microwave for heating up coffee. 😇
Much easier than the oven.
A beautiful tree. Your decoration method reminded me of my college job as a window dresser at a Parisian department store. I want to decorated my flocked white tree like yours but instead of red, I want monochromatic blue ornaments. Happy Holidays!
Bea utiful tree Michael!
Did you learn tree trimming when you worked retail ? Because your tree trimming is spectacular!
Remember Pier 1 Imports? They did a full store Christmas turnover in a night. That was me! ❤️
Lovely tree!!
So glad to see your face !🥰
Well, shucks, thank you, Susan! 🥰
Fun, fun, fun with Michael at Michael’s. I just realized what I wrote!😂😂
Bwahahaha! She's got the spirit!
gorgeous
Thank you, Denise! ❤️
Your so talented
Your amazing
Awwww shucks, thank you, Kathy! 🥰
I have watched you buy so many vintage ornaments and decorations so why why why are you at Hobby Lobby? Say it ain't so.
Ahhh wonderful you gave me some ideas. Unfortunately my boy cat is untrimming my tree faster than I can trim
Hello Mildred! Keep in mind this tree is in a public space open to the comings and goings of our guests. Using vintage ornaments may present a sad situation of them becoming damaged, broken, or lost. Keep your eye out for our personal tree, ALL antique ornaments!
I am looking forward to that tree! @@The.Cult.Of.Vintage
Hi Michael and Richard! Wow, Michael, your tree is gorgeous! You definitely have the knack for decorating! Happy Thanksgiving!

Hobby Lobby! Nope! Nothing against you, Michael. Keep on truckin'.

OMGOSH! Thank you, thank you for the reminder!! I totally forgot to readjust the stand!!!
Watch the thrift stores for a revolving tree stand just to kick your gorgeous tree up a notch!…..you will not be disappointed!
Oh, Lori, she said let's REALLY make an impact! 🤣🥰
Don’t you also do christmas wreaths with vintage bits??
Hello Rachel! Yes, I have done quite a few in the past. I will have very few this year as I focus on more unique craft items! ❤️
Michael, I’m pretty sure you’re an elf 🧝
