Looking through it as a F2P player, it’s pretty useless to me unless you absolutely need the crew members.
Rewards are pretty laughable, be F2P or P2W
Judging from the looks of it, getting all the rewards requires if you have all the Monster Inc characters unlocked and are at least lvl 26-27 each before buying the vault pass. Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck not completing the vault pass until you upgrade your characters.
It's way to expensive being that all of the vaults look to be separate purchases. It's disgusting and no one should buy them to teach gameshit a lesson
I just discovered that the Golden Pass for Wreck it Ralph isn’t do able unless you have junglebook, Meg, Anna, or Ortensia.
The bundle pass is totally a scam
the last tier is apparently repeatable, except its not, i cannot earn more vault points after reaching lvel 30, i thought this was great value to grind the vault pass for 500 upgrade coins per level on the pass. Turned out to be a SCAM
Same happened to me, it must be broken and players who bought it should be compensated.
@@liamjanman7465 ive reported it as a bug on their discord, im not the only one who has, glad im not the only one who bought it thinking it was repeatable to grind
I like the idea of more content for this game and having tournaments and vault pass is awesome. I think in the future a pass bundle should be introduced like a golden/vault pass bundle deal.
It states that you earn the last tier multiple times but once u win all the races that's it so there's no point replaying the tournaments, was looking forward to a steady supply of upgrade coins, bit of a joke event and total rip off, should be half the price.
My assumption is that it's for the bundle only as it gives you 15 extra tiers for a total of 7500 upgrade coins.
So just to be safe, the Vault pass is permanent, right? Like if I buy the Monsters Inc VP now, I have unlimited time to complete it, right? It doesn’t disappear when the season ends or anything like that?
Until the season has ended or GameLoft has said it only they can answer that question. I doubt Skyliner has the answer.

I'm mostly happy with the new system and all the extra Free content it came with. I'm still unsure about how the gold passes will work after I spend all my new gold pass tokens. I used to rely on grinding ranked multi to get my golden pass currency. is the gold pass gonna be a pay only thing now?

Got a complete Monsters Inc collection because of it and with me only missing Buzz and Woody Epic Crew for the Toy Story collection that will also be completed by getting the Toy Story Vault Pass. Also every racer except King Candy at 30+ (also don't have Ralph or Calhoun yet obviously) so no issues completing the vault passes. So for me it's entirely worth it. Same goes for Lilo & Stitch cause despite having the entire collection due to joining in Season 3 and having Stitch maxed out it is one of my favorite Disney movies and worth it just for more shards for everything else and the cosmetics.

Love the idea of being able to go back and do previous seasons. $12 aud not bad.
My kid also just got started and now has a chance to unlock previous racers.. good job Gameloft!! Also bring back voices… this is the only thing that needs bringing back..
If I dont have the epic racer of that vault pass then maybe. Otherwise it's a no.
For example I began playing during the Frozen season and outside of some mid season racers I been able to earn everyone. Well everyone BUT Genie. I only have 3 shards of him.
In the shops they are asking for $10 to unlock him and some cosmetics. The store is horrendous with 360 blue tokens to buy one shard.
Thus if Genie is part of the vault pass with 10 shards from the get go then that might be worthwhile (plus some extras that can be useful for the other Aladdin racers). Prefer not to buy and for all others has zero big benefits but for Genie for anything less then 10 plus useful items it might be worth it just only for that and no others.
Skyliner should mention that you can't really complete this as F2p as you need characters unlocked and high levels, with getting a couple shards through ranked nowhere you will be able to complete them all mostly the medium cup if lucky. Total scam.
I'm 100% f2p player (didn't spend a single cent on this game yet) and I could complete all the cups in all difficulties with low level pilots, heck I completed the Celia's Expert cup with her at level 23. 😂
Luckily the AI is not very rubber-banding and unlike other racing games, it's doesn't have the typical "AI rival" in the races, all of them can either win or lose in last place in the races.

Well my opinion is, vault pass to earn rewards like shards, item capsules, coins, etc, was nice but i will not spend cash to buy vault pass or golden pass or whatever, i think i will earn rewards without spend my money
I just bought it to try and get the golden MVP suits

I feel like if u already have the characters, you have to REALLY love monsters Inc to buy this. Especially if you've already bought the golden pass. I like sully as a racer but the sully and boo shards are the only valuable items here. (And maybe the capsules).
While it is a good value, I can't get past gameloft trying to get 44$ a season off players over the 10$ from last season while skimping on voice acting and the game still being glitchy and buggy. Where is the money we've already spent going?
Maybe if it was 8$ for all 3 vaults it would be worth it, but they're asking for a lot of money while giving very little in return.
I say if you started F2P on September and missed out on the seasons of Monsters Inc, Toy Story & Lilo & Stitch, then yes, spent the Vault.
Otherwise for Early Access & when we get Season 4 Aladdin tournaments & beyond, it's not worth.

Well, if you missed the season its worth it- say you dont have those racers and mvp skins then deffo get it, however if you have them all unlocked and mvp skin aka did that season its not worth it no.

@@JoaoVictor-zb5po well no I don’t think so, they made it to get more money out of players. Ill say it should work as if you start now, you can spend 6 quid and get all monsters inc racers and lots of crews and the rare mvp skin. However as a s1 player it’s not worth it at all. Nothing in this game is for f2p players at all, events to season tour is not for free players at all, even ranked is a mess.
To be honest the asking price is quite high in my opinion.
If it was 8$ for all the cups in the current season, still it would be pricey but tolerable, but 8$ for just one?, total rip-off.
Not counting also the misleading message that you can continue to level up and get 500 upgrade coins which is false.
Not worth it.. I have all the items from the Monsters Inc. season, when it was live. The only stuff that is left for me, is crew shards and the 4 aurum car skins and I will not pay for that.

I disagree. It would only be worth it if there was some repeatable prize for it. 2 more hours of content I can do for free is not worth it. For me, the season pass is only worth it because it melds together with the season tour. If they'd done it so you can use it to unlock all the characters and unlock the higher difficulties, it would've been 100% worth it. Now it's just boring since the computer isn't regulated, and i felt like doing a chore instead of having fun with the game.
Imagine if the vault pass was locked behind a paywall, but when you bought it, only the easiest tournament of each racer was unlocked. You play a regulated version at level 10, and when you finish it in 1st placement, you unlock the character and the next difficulty. Then it repeats 2 more times. Instead of giving shards in the "medium" and "hard" ones, you could even unlock boxes or crews. Dang, it could have been 15 dollars, and I would've bought it.
Hey Skyliner or any of you... I lost many Multi-player Rank Levels on several fucking characters... again. Happened to me in the Frozen season too. I thought we were promised to not lose any of our progress. Like now I have a dozen racers who are 5+ levels behind so even if I grind them again I won't receive any rewards until they're caught up. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but it's just another reason why I am losing hope in this game. I want my levels back and for Gameloft to fix this unnecessary bug.
Yeah that’s normal your characters always lose MPR at the end of each season, anyone over MPR10 loses ranks
