    THANK YOU! I’m so happy I stumbled on your video, been trying to find a clean acapella I’ve been wanting to remix forever but searched everywhere and I couldn’t find it and tried extracting the vocals myself and just gave up, Thank you once again!

    Hot tip: get accapellas arguably as clean as well as other stems like bass & drums very useful for remixes instantaneously with new Virtual DJ 2021 & Djay 3 neural mix. Fantastic for quick sample of basslines etc for live remix or fancy pull into melodyne extract midi and put into a new clean instrument track and steal nearly anything. I do appreciate the mono n reverb etc tips though! I may have to play around and route some plugins into virtual DJ live stems to up the game

      RX7 is great for repair, but I couldn't get a great result for vocal extraction using RX7's "music rebalance". Is there a setting I'm missing?

      @@SolStateMusic I have found eqing some parts that are harsh and basically process it and then export it then do RX7. It cleaned up the vocals alot better from my experience.

      @@SolStateMusic I get it’s a sponsor but honestly RX8 is legit worlds apart. In your example too you remixed a really easy rip, which still leaked some drums, with a beat which hides the drum hits further.

    Anyone got tips for setting up a poor mans soothe 2 in ableton ?

    • @SolStateMusic
      @SolStateMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Soothe is just reducing annoying resonant frequencies in a dynamic way. You could do the almost same with manual EQ8, or multiple de-essers. Soothe just saves a ton of time. So in short, just learn to find and cut annoying resonances with EQ8.

    • @elypsemusic8042
      @elypsemusic8042 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use fabfilter q3 in dynamic mode and reduce s and es peaks and some resonance.

    Um, so the program is open source, but this website is charging you to use it???? Why would you recommend them if they're clearly not the original developers and are just profiting off something that was given out for free? Serious question x 2 don't dodge.

      why have someone cook a burger for you when you can literally just cook one yourself, the recipe is open source

    • @theburn6254
      @theburn6254 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@kajuari why buy meat from the butcher when you can buy a dead cow and cut it up? Why buy cows when you can raise them yourself? Why buy feed for the cows when you can grow a pasture? Because it saves time and effort. It's the basis for the entire modern service-focused economy. Sometimes you just need to grab a burger so you can stop worrying about being hungry and just get on with your music production.
