It baffles me because Celine is credited as being one of the most emotive vocalist in the world!!! Certainly of the "Vocal Trinity", She's the only one who can bring me to tears!! In her early years she showed off her airy light tone a good deal. But she also had this raw energy and charisma - not quite a pop diva mold, but a brilliant storyteller.
Her voice is so beautiful and soft, she Is so iconic, my favourite singer love her so much, I hope her health gets better we need to hear that iconic voice again ❤ thank you for bringing a new audience to Ms celine dion, the new era needs to learn her voice, they will realise real talent with this celine dion the icon, thanks Adam we all appreciate your channel bro ❤

I am a huge fan but never heard this song…. I think i would describe it as French jazz? Not my cup of tea but sang with so much passion and vocal greatness, that is for sure !
I see you are discovering more gems... I saw her shows at Theatre St Denis in Montreal when she sang this.... we were both kids but I could tell she had a special gift to offer. I would tell everyone within earshot that, if she was well managed, she would be the biggest star! You did not have to be a fortune teller to come to this conclusion... even in 1989 she sang an impressive array of genres and she delivered every time. I always compare Céline to NYC ... you walk around NYC and there are so many amazing buildings that you can sometimes forget to be impressed, then you start looking up and you go OH YEAH that is an awesome building... so is that one... and of many different genres. Céline has soooooooo many amazing songs in sooo many genres that is almost taken for granted until you start "looking" and then you go OH YEAH that is an awesome performance/ song/ interpretation. What an amazing musical time to have had growing up with the Trinity and also you had those other Canadian ladies Alanis Morisette, KD Lang, Jann Arden, Sarah McLaughlan, Shania Twain and Lara Fabian ( you can sorta see here why they compared Lara to Céline as this is more in the style of presentation Lara was known for if you think of Je suis Malade ). Glad you are doing more I hope your artistic soul is lifted as mine is (re) listening to these interpretations.
