When I fought that boss first time I got TPK first move of the battle. At least you can equip anti-deathblow stuff to prevent that.

I was expecting a 4v4 fight in the tower. Maybe it's best that never happened.
I think the squad for sure would’ve gotten destroyed in a 4 v 4 only to get bailed out by Cassius in the end.
That being said, I hope by the time the series is in endgame territory, we get an epic 4 v 4 showdown of main protags from across the series vs squad of enforcers/Anguis.
@@AlejandroDiaz-gz1yq In 3rd there was a battle with Enforses, 3vs4 (Lucy, Walter and Bluebank), and i cant stop thinking, how much better this fight could be, if it was 4 vs 4, with Loewe as they leader.

@@arsoras1019 I mean... Joshua defeated him 1 vs 1 while holding back (that was mentioned by Loewe). Dont underestimate the main cast, they defeated even Cassius, and thats a biggest achievement in all Trails series, if you ask me, lmao.

Ronny Mahendra that’s what I had to with Loewe. Damn the silver thorns and it’s confusion status effects.
I feel like I lucked out on the Loewe fight. He never used the silver thorns attack on me, and he didn't start spawning clones for me till I had killed both the minions.

Yeah...I learned after my first playthrough, if I’m not going to be able to equip anything that prevents OHKOs, I’ll space my party out to avoid a ‘game over’. Didn’t lose any enforcer battles (until Loewe, which took 5 tries).

Joke's on her, I use Earth Wall.
You can survive it if you equip Skull Pendant (to be fair, most bosses in SC require you to have the protections against the status effects they inflict to win). Though I guess that on Nightmare, she's too quick to use Earth Wall.
+Pipe Or you can put Kevin last in your lineup, spam left arrow and spacebar really fast and wedge his S-Craft in before Renne can use her S-Craft. Earth Wall all game afterwards.
That can work too, though I never used Kevin because it was too much of a hassle to level him up.
I used Schera and Agate. Agate to spam S-Crafts, Schera because she was the fastest caster IIRC, and that's pretty damn useful. Plus, her Art damage is more or less on par with Olivier and Kloe.
Her S-Crafts are pretty bad, sadly, but she's my favorite character, so I kinda overlooked that.
I can't help but hear *him* saying "Ready?! PHANTOM RAID!!!" Perfect execution by his voice actor, major kudos. Bad freaking ass.

All you need is gear that protects against death blows and she's not that hard.
@@R3GARnator first time playing I didn't know her S-craft inflicted death blow till 3 of my characters died from it.
There aren't really that many good accessories in Sky compared to Cold Steel (can't speak for Zero/Azure, I'm currently on 3rd), so grail locket at least is a no brainer. Grail locket and the gladiator accessories (Joshua had both lol, he had so much CP throughout all fights).
@@R3GARnator ehm eh rene has so many minions that do petrify effect and is hard to kill beacue they are surround you even with joshua s craft is not enough to one shot it and rene fight it has a 2nd phase so i would say still hard

A very badass boss theme for one of the best games I have ever played in my 20 years of gaming.
I seriously loved every moment. Definitively worthy of being on my personal top 5 best games.
30+ years of gaming here and i agree i just recently got rhrough the sky trilogy and on from zero. I cant believe the fisher price casuals lauding ff 16 when we have this giant masterpiece of storytelling
..I've come here after the announcement of Unisuga's departure from Falcom. This boss theme is still one of the most iconic tracks in the series for me even after all this time. So thank you Unisuga for one of your earliest masterpieces.
This is the music that engraves in your mind forever. So damn amazing.

+Roman Dass On that note, it's worth comparing Fateful Confrontation and Silent Desert from Ys Origin since Unisuga composed both around the same timeframe. They're both power metal but different enough based on context.

Time signature changes are too good. So is the double-pedal bass drum. Murayama did the Ouroboros motif, but this must be Unisuga's breakout moment.

@@YourVinished it's weird because sometimes it doesn't hurt but other times it does, there's no "break" on the song and those drums are constantly playing so it gets annoying lol

So... this ost is awesome, but for me, also bad memories...
After beating Renne (lvl 79 so she didn't kill me instantly in our first encounter, plus some accesories) my game would crash in the middle of the Flying City cutscene, which means i didn't get to save after the fight, i had to beat her 4 times, plus getting fucked a few other times, until i figured it was a lost cause, went to the Falcom discord and a kind soul provided me a save of the Chapter 7 end so i could continue the game, right before telling me how crazy i was for beating Renne 4 times without Kevin or Earth Wall (because i like Tita and Agate)... and all of that, 1 hour ago...

I managed to beat this one with Tita and Kloe, but it was a real scrappy brawl and I probably wasted far more healing items than necessary.
The key is to get rid of the constructs because those little fuckers hit like a truck and there's way too many of them.
Still amazing till this day

When you lose the first time with Renne and then constantly lose on purpose so you can survive with Kloe S craft, then wait for all robots to end each of there turns. After that give Joshua a Str buff and just wail with Black Fang at 200 Cp. It took a while for Rennes fight but I won

@@MistaHoward cause it never occurred to me until 3rd that Kevin is an interesting character with Survivability. Plus I used Kloe and Tita because Kloe was my healer and Tita cause i thought it was gonna have interesting dialogue

I'm having trouble deciding which Enforcer is the strongest: Luciola is a bit of a pushover even if her bosses are annoying, Bleublanc is manageable as long as you debuff him to find the real one, Walter has a very strong 6000+ attack besides his S-craft and Renne has deathblow but you have the grail locket.
I still haven't beaten Loewe.
