    Wow! That was amazing. You sir are incredibly talented. I am so impressed by the level of detail and the fact that you do much of your measuring by eye. You are clearly highly meticulous and obviously very skilled. What a great demo video!

    I usually do not give thumbs down's to videos. The quick shot editing makes it very difficult to glean useful manual/mechanical information.

    I'm so impressed with your work! I am a fairly new metalsmither and love the engraved lines (are they called diamond cut?) and have wondered how those cuts were made in the gold. Would you consider doing a graving video showing the tools you use and how to get started?

    • @jewellerymadebyhand

      Very god idea for a new video.
      I will take it in count in the future.
      Take it easy and practice, practice, practice.
      Pay attention to my videos, what is not in one, it is in another.
      Thank you for your words.

    How much does this ring retail for just out of curiosity?

    • @jewellerymadebyhand
      @jewellerymadebyhand  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is depending of the ring size, diamonds size, details, etc.
      From 1K to 3K.

      How is jewellery made. Lets say size US 9 1/2 by 10mm proportioned to how this ring was made. Maybe using 2mm or 2.5mm diamonds not sure what size are used on this build.

    Hi, so how does the gold attach itself without fusing or soldering? I understand the pressure used to push it in, but how does it become literally attached without heat. Lovely!!! I'm self teaching, and have never seen this channel. I'll subscribe!

    • @jewellerymadebyhand
      @jewellerymadebyhand  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No fuse, no laser.
      This channel for inlay it is trapezoidal not rectangular.

    • @feifeili2331

      Then , only pressure, do you use 24 k gold ?

    • @jewellerymadebyhand

      Yes, 24k

    • @123kkambiz
      @123kkambiz 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are you sure you did not use hand held pulse arc (tungsten micro arc) for joining the gold to the ring? Or it was by forging the soft 24 k gold into the shears by hydraulic hammers

    • @jewellerymadebyhand
      @jewellerymadebyhand  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      14k rose it is nice and I use only when I need to match some stone colors and gold color.
      14k white it is not white and I not use this alloy
