Alot of fans are used to dysfunction and have become like al Davis. Wanting to change over and over. Looking for someone to blame. We scored 434 points this year. Chiefs only scored 39 more then us. We gave up 478 only one team was worse on defense the jags. That should tell you everything you need to know on why we couldn't win down the stretch. For example. The Chiefs game. The offense drives team down late in 4th scores and puts team in position to win. Defense falls on face again. Chargers game offense puts us in position to win late again. Defense chokes again. We lose. Dolphins game. Offense puts us in position late to win again. The defense makes a horrible play and looks stupid. We lose. Imagine that's 3 more victories we should have had. That would have put us at 11-5 to finish the season. Even with horrible defense. You can't come out every week and spot the other team 30 points and expect to win consistently. Your offense isn't going to be hitting on all cylinders every single game.. but people think its all Derek's fault are just not very smart and don't know about football. He made huge strides this year in a conservative offense. Hes the one being let down by this organization. Hes not letting us down. Hes not perfect but he is well above average. He will continue to work hard and try to get better every single day

What’s worse of all is that Raiders havnt had close to at least a top 15 defense since the last time they’ve been to a SuperBowl the closest they got was a top 18 defense in 2006 but had the worst offense in the league and still did before Carr even showed up. Ppl blaming Carr saying he can’t get the job done, Carr was the first qb since 2002 to give Raiders a winning season with more than 8 wins even with a bad defense that turned into a trash defense Raiders could’ve made it to the Divisional round or even the Championship and face the Chiefs if OLine covered Carr during that Colts game and got his leg broken. Then Raiders got destroyed the last 2 games and in WC round Raiders would’ve had a 13-3 or 14-2 season with Carr if he didn’t get injured cuz the backup qb was trash.

Our offense will continue to get better. I think Bryan edwards will work his tail off this off season and so will ruggs with derek. Hopefully O-line can stay healthy next year. I've been a Carr fan since he first came into the League. He is STILL one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL. 2020 was one of his best years, partly due to him finally having the same OC & head coach for more than 2 years. Wait & see.....dude's gonna keep getting better; he's like a fine French Burgundy sitting in a wine cellar, getting better every year. I see playoffs next year IF they get a great interior defensive lineman in the first round & pick up more help in the secondary during the off-season.

Beef up defense in the draft get a good DC in to get it together. We have players on D (even in the secondary) . But if your not put in the right play call your already in bad position to stop or make plays on the ball.

We won 3 games at the buzzer. & We lost 3 games at the buzzer. If we had a good defense we would have won those 3 games that we lost & made the playoffs. We would have made the playoffs instead of the Cleveland Browns because we beat them in Cleveland in the regular season. Those fans make the rest of us look ridiculous. Like Walsh's WCO, this Raiders O scored so much more after getting some downfield threats. Carr is definitely the QB for this offense; all that's left is an even halfway decent defense.
People don't credit that the Raiders beat A LOT of good teams this past season and lost some VERY close ones, they also had a top 3 hardest schedule. They Beat CAR, NO, CLE, KC and almost beat them the 2nd game, lost to BUF, LA and MIA literally by one play, give this team some defensive pressure to make things easier in the secondary and this is an easy 10-12 Win Team.

Hard to win consistently when you see your defense give up 478 points for the year. You can't spot everyteam 30 points. Offense won't always be hitting on all cylinders. Defense cost us the playoffs this year they were unwatchable almost all of the year.
They beat a lot of good teams..lost to some good ones. But you saw a spark and all they need now is some spark on the defense and theyre gonna win a lot more!
honestly i think the defense with the new additions needs the tweaks (because we have plenty of talent to be utitilized) and a solid number 1 wide reciever and we can really make the playoffs and go even further. mfs need to open their eyes and give respect where respect is due. #JUSTWINBABY

Honestly i’m just happy that our team is better then saints, saints have always had a good year and i’m just happy. if chiefs weren’t a team then we would have made it to the playoffs, maybe even the chiefs. we have a good offense but defensively it’s not the best, i’m not saying it’s bad but i’m not saying it’s the greatest, at least we got some draft picks for our defense, we should have it improved, i’m excited for the raiders this season because very year they don’t have a bad record, but it’s not the best, last year it was 8-8 (kinda like this year) and 2 years ago we had 7-9, i don’t think we need anyone better for offense, i think maybe derek carr should scramble more often because he has had a lot of sacks this year.

We won 3 games at the buzzer. & We lost 3 games at the buzzer. If we had a good defense we would have won those 3 games that we lost & made the playoffs. We would have made the playoffs instead of the Cleveland Browns because we beat them in Cleveland in the regular season. We would have ended up in the WildCard Playoffs game vs. The Pittsburgh Steelers our hated old rivals. Well our defense is much IMPROVED. We got Yannick Ngakoue, Solomon Thomas, Quinton Jefferson, Darius Philon, Karl Joseph, Rasual Douglas, Casey Heyward, Trevon Moehrig, Malcolm Koonce, Divine Deablo, Nate Hobbs,&, Darius Stills, &, more.

Those fans make the rest of us look ridiculous. Like Walsh's WCO, this Raiders O scored so much more after getting some downfield threats. Carr is definitely the QB for this offense; all that's left is an even halfway decent defense.
People don't credit that the Raiders beat A LOT of good teams this past season and lost some VERY close ones, they also had a top 3 hardest schedule. They Beat CAR, NO, CLE, KC and almost beat them the 2nd game, lost to BUF, LA and MIA literally by one play, give this team some defensive pressure to make things easier in the secondary and this is an easy 10-12 Win Team.

Hard to win consistently when you see your defense give up 478 points for the year. You can't spot everyteam 30 points. Offense won't always be hitting on all cylinders. Defense cost us the playoffs this year they were unwatchable almost all of the year.
All we need is a defense that gives up no more than 17-20 points a game, and we’re playoff bound this year.
