Edwards is a beast, I hated how his looks dwindled as the season went on. He's one of those WRs that don't get much separation but they're strong at the point of attack and have strong hands. Have to trust he'll win his matchups.
Love this team. 5-7 to the playoffs and in all honesty Carlson would have had the game winner in that wildcard game. Great season hopefully many more to come.

Great video, low key didn't even remember they faced the giants because I was so bummed out they lost and it was winnable and just suppressed me even watching it lol. Despite everything, it was a season that ended in a playoff birth for the first time since 2016 and a touchdown away from overtime and potentially beating a team that's in the superbowl. Hopefully this upcoming season isn't a rebuild, it's finishing what the previous regime couldn't do.

Cool highlight video. When I think of this season though it drives me insane at times. Or more specifically the fans drive me insane. You watch videos on each separate game and its always "well if the offense would have scored more TDs in the Red Zone they'd have won". While they aren't wrong there's also the defense to look at. I'll bring up 3 specific games that the Raiders lost where people all say if the offense had done better they'd win, whereas if the defense would have just done what every other team in the NFL had done to those teams, they would have won. I'm talking about the Giants, Redskins and Bears games. All 3 in which the offense definitely played subpar and the defense "kept them in the game". 1) Giants game: Giants score a opening drive TD for the ONLY time all season, it was also the only time they've scored a opening drive TD since like week 9 of the previous season. So somehow our "great" defense that "kept them in the game" gave a shitty team its only opening drive TD in 25 games. Also Daniel Jones has his best QBR and completion percentage of the season versus the Raiders. Last but not least D. Booker had his best game and the team as a whole had one of its better rushing games of the season. SOOOO.. while Carr threw the pick 6 IF the defense would have done literally what the NFL did in a 25 game span and not let them score a opening drive TD its a win for the Raiders. 2) Redskins game: Redskins win 17-15... defense holds the Redskins to 2 Red Zone drives ALL game (freaking great), the problem; they give up TDs on both those drives. You say holding a team to 17pts or less should be great or have a really good chance of winning and I agree. HOWEVER, the Redskins at the time of that game actually had a worse Red Zone offense than the Raiders yet they went 2 for 2 and the Raiders went 1 for 3. IF the Raiders had held them to their average or even to just 1 for 2 the final score is 15-13 Raiders and its a win. 3) Bears game: the offense played like shit for sure but the defense kept every single one of the Bears scoring drives alive with a penalty. Literally at some point in every one of their drives they failed on a 3rd down but a penalty gave them either a first down or a re-do of the 3rd down with shorter distance to go in which case they were able to convert. The Bears dominated the ToP in that game not only because the offense played bad but because the defense kept extending their drives. You get rid of the two TD drives that were helped via penalty (one of them with 2-3 third downs converted via penalty) and the Raiders win 9-6. Ugly win but a win. All that said, I do agree the offense could have been way better, especially in the Red Zone, BUT same could be said about the defense. The defense has just been so horrific over the last 10 years that finishing overall in the 18-22 range was considered a improvement. The Raiders had the worst Red Zone defense in NFL HISTORY this season. They were really good from the 20 to 20 but once a team got in the Red Zone they were going to score. Consider this, the best Red Zone offense this last year was actually the 49ers offense at 71%. The Raiders defense gave up TDs 81% of the time in the Red Zone. Meaning that quite literally every opponent they faced this year had the leagues best Red Zone offense for that week.
kinda glad to see some new coaching staff, as a 20 year old i never understood the hype around chucky and after everything about him being shitty came out I lost all respect for him. I am really glad theres something new to feel invested in, and after the painful yet amazing year this team had, I'm excited to see a new era

Seeing these highlights makes me see how they’ve used Bryan Edwards more when Gruden was running the offense compared to when Carr and Olsen were.
Right Edwards I think has the potential to be our #1 just needs to utilize his opportunities.
