The thing that strikes me in watching this is how the Raiders physically punished the Chiefs, both on offense and on defense.
I literally was in a argument with someone last year on TH-cam telling them that the Chiefs are not a physical team. If you beat up on them they would fold.

As a Raiders fan I’m so happy. After that Ruggs TD I realized that Ruggs now has more receiving yards than Darius Hayward-Bey has in his entire rookie year. I’m glad to see Carr throw the ball down the field. Raiders fans don’t get too cocky but let’s enjoy the victory and get ready for Tampa Bay.
Edit: I think the Chiefs-Raiders rivalry has been brought back.

He has his offensive line protecting him again so I believe he’s going to look like the quarterback from a couple of years ago.

Carr has always had one of the best God-given arm talents in the league, the way he can just flick his arm and have the ball travel 50 yards. He just needs to be unleashed, like he was today. Hope thing is a turning point so Gruden understands how to use Carr properly.

Dragon Drew I agree. But Jacobs hasn’t been under scrutiny as of late. We all know what Jacobs is capable of and he always performs. Carr on the other hand has received a lot of criticism. And for him to perform as well as he did in ARROWHEAD is exactly what he needed. He needed to step up and produce and he did. Great game all around.

Thats incorrect sir! Belichick exposed Mahomes can't open passing lanes. Texas Techs hurry up offense taught him to outsmart the blitz. Make him create and get rid of the ball with tighter coverage. Andy Reeds only option is to speed the offense up more. Put all the pressure on his recievers speed.

@James Alexander Yes, but 2 of those touchdowns were bombs down the field that put them INTO a position where the running game eating the clock wasn't a detriment to themselves. Defense was awful first half, second half they did something I thought they would never do. They actually played defense. If they can keep that up, the Raiders have a great chance of hitting the playoffs. Defense didn't win this game, Offense didn't win this game, no one player won this game, the Raiders, AS A TEAM, won this game. It feels good to be able to say that instead of, "The offense won them the game." Instead of telling people to learn football, why don't you take your own lesson and see that Carr helped put this game into a position where defense and the running game could put it away. Be humble, bud.

Wait until the Seahawks face the Chiefs with a fully optimized scheme and less injuries. It’ll be a wild duel. Wilson, Lockett, Metcalf, Gordon, Carson, and Penny vs Mahomes, Hill, Watkins, Hardman, Bell, and Edwards-Helaire. And on defense both teams have amazing talent. Chiefs have the edge because of a better defensive coordinator but it’ll still be an awesome battle.

That was a STATEMENT by Gruden and Carr. The AFC wildcard race should be fun with Pittsburgh, NE, Indy, Cleveland, and Las Vegas all competing. The Raiders have had the hardest schedule in the league so far and they've kept it close against good teams throughout but they've finally beat one of them

The Patriots figured out how to nullify the Chiefs offense, rush very few and pack the secondary and Gruden and the Raiders defense built on that and took it to the bank. Going to be much harder for the Chiefs from now on and I credit Belichick for cracking the code.

James R it was only working in the 3 quarter tho. I mean they got 3 td called back with penalties and had like 120+yards of penalties that’s destroying you the game. The real issue was the defense. As a Chiefs fan, I’ve been anxiously waiting for this rivalry to be this tight again. Hell the entirety of the AFC West is on the rise. It’s definitely an obstacle to have such a competitive division. And I gladly welcome it.

Man bring it on I'm juiced. I was kinda expecting to see like a 30 - 26 game in favor of chiefs, but the Raiders defense brought it in the second half. I'm looking forward to close games in this rivalry from here on out, as well as the rest of AFC west. So hyped for Raiders, though I miss being a close drive from the stadium.
As a Browns fan it was fun to watch the Raiders do some work. They all of a sudden look way more serious than before. Good game Raiders.
