I have never heard of “I See Stars” until “Treehouse “ and this album is what lead me into knowing this band. I absolutely love this band and it helped me through the life obstacles I’ve faced and we’ll always inspire me to live a healthy life. Thanks

I respect Devin as a person, songwriter and musician but treehouse was a disappointment for me. New Demons is how I found these guys so it feels off. Regardless I'm open to what they release next!

Like this treehouse album is not them at all 3D to New Demons stayed together evolved but kept the electricore sound they basically helped create. Treehouse not at all everything from looks to sounds have changed. I tried to listen to Break first and couldn't get through it so I tried Calm Snow...nope....All In like wtf is that about I just can't any more. If they feel its right by all means I hope they do well but this is NOT what I believe I See Stars was. Also if possible if anyone does a interview again I would like more details on why Zac was asked to leave...I just don't see why he left is now Devin and Andrew do basically Zac's roll.....unclean vocals and keyboard....Andrew (from what I've read isn't even on drums anymore.)
100% agreed, I miss what they used to be, I was scrolling through the comments praying that someone would say it, bring back zack, bring back the old I see stars, I love them all, there fucking awesome, but the new approach they've taken just doesn't seem like the real them
Rachel Langhorst Tree house is an evolution lyrically and electronically. Most fans love the new album. Just because it's not as hardcore doesn't mean it's bad. The music is beautifully written, and adds a new vibe without completely getting rid of the I See Stars theme. They have always been an electronic/post-harcore/metal core band, and that doesn't change. This album is the same genre they have invented, just with a more alternative take. Also, Jimmy and Zach were asked to leave because Jimmy was barely there for writing, and Zach was asked to leave because they had a few personal issues (not bad for say, but they couldn't be with him any longer.) Zach was also gone for over a year, and they needed to move forward with their music. Having Zach and Jimmy barely there at all probably made them realize that they don't need to be in a band anymore because they weren't there for any of the writing or anything.
