They made a 2-12 and a 412 version of them. I would love to see Line-6 do something with it since its the same company and make a tube power amp for it like the old Spider with Bogner setup.

Isnt it possible to build up such a kind of analog plugin thing with a bunch of (maybe arduino programmable) relais and servo-motors wired in that pedal-board-stuff? DAW -> Plugin for relais and servo controls -> interface (e.g. card/usb) or arduino -> control relais and servos for the switches, sliders and potis on the pedalboard. they both have their use - but i agree, vst prices have gotten ridiculous now that brands got behind them. it feels insane paying +$100 to unlock a preset in a program, where the platform only exists to lock you out if you don't pay.
1. Mike Soldano did this long time ago, I mean a gear which is mechanically adjustable - Soldano X99, the thing is called servo motors/servomechanism. 2. There are ways to control some adjustments especially modes etc electrically - this is also some adjustment of analog path. 3. You can check Thomas Blug, as some of his gear may use similar concept, except literally moving the knobs
