Great review. I’ve had the hayabusa pros and they were good. Especially for wide feet. I had the same experience with them fitting larger than expected. Had to return my first pair to go a size smaller. Hayabusa paid for return shipping which was awesome. Otherwise, good shoe, but at the end of the day, I returned them and got the Everlast elite2s and was happy with my decision.
they are both wide but I prefer my elite2s. They fit true to size. The hayabusa pros fit larger so if you have really wide feet, the hayabusa pros might be for you.
I had the pros, first pair I had to return within a a week,5 uses. The tread was coming off. My second pair has lasted about 2 years. They quickly gained a lot of wear but have held up so far, barley. I do love them but I wish they were built a little better. Also, brand new the tread was slipping allot especially if I stepped on a small drop of sweat, which may be true for any boot. Overall I enjoy them, won my first competition with them. Wouldn't buy them again though sadly.
Thanks for sharing with us a review of these shoes. I do have concerns and questions. I do a lot of footwork drills and i also run. Would these shoes be suitable for running as well or is this strictly for boxing? Have you had anyone damage the soul of these shoes? This is often my problem and im going through expensive shoes like every three months. I appreciate anyone who answers. Thanks
I've had both n I'd say elite cs I've had the Hayabusa pro boxing and talon n both of the insoles fall apart and the talons sole fell apart on me on the first day
I have a question are amateur weight classes like pro weight classes where heavy weight is 200+ or no because I can’t find an accurate answer because I search or it and I get different answers all the time
No one’s answered this😅 you may have gotten an answer already. But typical heavyweight (the weight class I fought) was between I want to say 189-205 limit something of the sort, it’s been a while! And then 205+ is super heavyweight. So that’s the main difference between amateur and pro. Pretty much heavyweight for amateur is cruiserweight for pro. Don’t quote me on the exact numbers but somewhat like that.
I definitely want the yellow pair! Seems easy to put on and hightops are my favorites!

Do you thing that elite2s are better for wide feet than hayabusas?

everlast elite or vs Talon? I like the fit of the everlast, also the durability is amazing. Its 1/2price of the hayabusas. never tried the talon🤷🏽♂️
