What everyone seems to be ignoring is that whatever the air quality is it is only going to affect someone who already has a condition. Normal, healthy people are not affected. Children and adults who live in rural areas where there is no air pollution still get asthma.

What everyone seems to be ignoring is that whatever the air quality is it is only going to affect someone who already has a condition. Normal, healthy people are not affected. Children and adults who live in rural areas where there is no air pollution still get asthma.

She left academia, lecturing in top Universities in the USA Which was very well paid , as it was a toxic environment to work in unless you supported the Climate Emergency brigade!
She set up her own company which advises on future weather events, like hurricanes, droughts , floods etc , the companies that pay her for the advice are , insurance companies,
Wind turbine companies, ( for projections of wind etc) Solar panel companies, and many more companies who trust her long range forecasts, these companies don’t pay out good money unless they are sure they are getting the best advice!

I've seen Judith Curry before when I was trying to find somebody who'd give me an alternative perspective on climate change. Well worth watching. Sadly, Rosanna proves again that she's completely out of her depth with anybody that disagrees with her.
Couldn't agree more, she cut Judith off just as she was about to make a very valid point about warming and extreme weather events. As the host she should wait for the guests to complete their argument instead of cutting them off when they say something that doesn't fit her world view.

All the arguing but the fact is, even if we are contributing C02 to the atmosphere, the human contribution to C02 is %1 and mother nature contributes %98 which is released from the sea. We can not survive without C02 and would cease to exist without it. There are plenty of natural events taking place that account for the weather at the moment including the solar cycle, El nino and the fact that the temperatures change around every 150000 years or so where it will reach a maximum and then slowly get cooler and we are in that period now where the planet is starting to cool down again, nothing to do with mankind at all

...and added to that, the UK produces only 1% of global emissions. So if we switched everything off and froze to death in darkness, it wouldn't make an iota of difference globally, just make our lives miserable.
Why is everybody talking about CO2? ULEZ is about particulates and Nitrogen Dioxide. It doesn't matter what you believe about climate change, ULEZ is about air quality and health 🤷

If you do a search you will find that only one child has died in the last 10 years and that was a 9 year old girl whose death was said to be linked to the dirty air in London. I believe she had many lung issues so it wasn't really the London air that killed her

Judith Curry is a well known expert climatologist. She has talked about this subject on many occasions & many are on TH-cam. I trust her view on this rather than the bald guy, who always spouts rubbish on other interviews I've seen.
She not on here own the top scientist in the world are with her. William Happer, Richard Linzden, Kelvin Duncan, and Steven Koonan many many others.

What a stitch up. 3 agreeing with Khan against Richard. In outer London there's no concern about air quality. For every scientist who agrees with Khan you can find one who doesn't agree. But the main point is missed by the media. Every vehicle undertakes a strict MOT that includes emissions. That certificate allows you to drive 'anywhere ' across Britain. What Khan and his ilk are doing is changing the stats so a large number of vehicles fail their interpretation of the rules.

Electricity and gas prices doubled. Food prices have doubled. Everything costs more than it did pre-Covid. Salaries have stayed the same. If the government actually cared we’d all have free solar panels on our roofs. It’s all about collecting more taxes and the working class get poorer and poorer. Struggling to make our salaries last till the end of the month. Even if we could all afford a new car, what a wasteful society we are creating. Getting rid of cars that still work but aren’t Ulez compliant. Are these cars then recycled? If they are old the next car they save up to buy will be ulez compliant. Give people 5-10 years to save. None of the taxes collected will be used to clean the underground air. Wonder what it’s being used for? The mayor is living on another planet. If I drive to work it takes me 15 minutes. If I take the bus one hour. Let me just drag my suitcase and cabin bag 15 minutes to the bus stop in the pouring rain and darkness in winter at 7 in the morning. My neighbour, a pensioner, who drives 3 other old people to church on Sunday has to scrap her car. How sad is that. Uses her car once a week to go shopping and attend church services during the week.
