I know your feeling with the wind gusts!! I had a market a couple weeks ago and the wind blew my apparel racks over straight into the dirt. I also didn't bring tent weights, so I was holding my tent and chasing my items that kept blowing off the tables. Thank goodness it was only a 4 hour market.
For a second car, have you thought of simply renting a car from UHaul or Home Depot for the day? You can get a Cargo Van for about $20/day (at least that's the price in my area).
Most places i've looked its been a lot more and they charge per mile. For most of my events this would be too $$ but its for sure been on my mind if we were in a real bind!

Its so bad! Like I would take rain over wind any day lol! It's so stressful! I'm glad your products and tent didn't fly away or get too damaged!
@PalmCreative I completely agree! I came prepared with a lint roller 😂, so I was able to get the dirt off my apparel.
