sorry i missed this vid from last month , how did the holiday market and everything go?

I loved your ted talk, and love each of your videos! I've been a viewer since the beginning (usually a silent viewer) but today I knew I had to take the time to comment. You've been such an inspiration to me, and one of the reasons I decided to do vendor markets this year, and hope to start posting vlogs in the New Year! My shop is only a year old, and I did my first event in October, and have done 4 other events since! Thank you for being real on here!

Love your vids! As a candle maker, I can tell you that candle making is pricey and requires a bit of equipment. Have you considered white label candles? Do you have a testing process for the candles?

I enjoy your longer vlogs -thank you. I have a question and have asked other vlog creators, why do you have stock listed as available when you have to make items to send out? I feel this adding stress that could be avoided if you only sell what you have available and restock as you make them. Just a thought and question.

I would get some larger card blanks print a border that matches the other cards and then cut the front of the holiday cards off (maybe round the corners ) and glue/ tape them onto the decorated blank cards so I could use them but that’s because I never want to discard paper lol. Hope you find a solution that works for you with those misprints and a wonderful Christmas. With love from the uk ❤

I think the positive thing about tariffs is that although imported items may result in small increases, many more people will buy American made products. It also has a great potential for overseas companies to bring their business to the USA. A lot of the public doesn't know that there have been tariffs in place for the last 8 years that has worked in our favor on a macro scale. But I'm keeping a positive vibe on my micro business (smaller than small). =) I have a small business and when I started it I had to do a lot of research to buy raw product made in the USA. Yes, it's a few dollars more, but I'm doing very well. Anyway, I absolutely love your videos and I watch as I work. I bought a candle from you and will continue to buy from you. =) Keep up your awesome work and dedication. How much would Eli charge for a stand like he made? I love it!!!

Hey girl!!! Have you considered cutting your card at the fold and then writing a note on the back of the printed side? I would even buy it like that with the envelope. It’s like getting a print on the mail . Just a thought to try and help you with a solution 😊

On the greeting cards I would cut them in half and make them flat cards and then sell them

Anytime I see people taking shots, making rude comments, judging, etc... it tells me more about their sad, envious life and lack of character & morals than ANYTHING else. It's your channel, it's your business and it's your money and time. KEEP👏ON👏THRIVING👏

i am so, so sorry you've been experiencing such negativity. there is no excuse for people to be so mean (i hate when people say "hurt people hurt people" - i've been hurt and bullied in my life but i don't go around doing it to other people). i love your videos because they're long, so i can put them on while i'm working on things for my small business. as for the way you speak? as someone who can be overstimulated pretty easily, i find your voice and cadence to be pretty calming and soothing. i've never thought you stumbled a lot and you come off as thoughtful when you speak. i read an article a long time back that was in defense of filler sounds/statements like "um" and "like", it reminded me that those are just our ways of saying, "give me a sec, i'm thinking and trying to be conscious of what i'm saying," and when is that ever a bad thing? as someone working hard to get their small business off the ground it's refreshing to hear someone talk honestly about the highs and lows of it all. ignoring haters is difficult, i know, so i just want to add some positivity here and your way in the hopes that it might be drowned out. keep up your awesome work, i look forward to your future videos, and wishing you all the success with your shop!

You know I felt such trepidation before Harris came into the race and it felt so solid so hopeful not only for the country but for us handmade business makers - our clientele is the thoughtful sort - well my sales after the disappointment of 2024 dropped significantly - I was doing better every month compared to 2023 - and it hasn’t met the challenge for the month yet - and next year is so murky looking - ugh - It is all very heavy and such a gamble 😢❤❤

FYI I sell my home sewn things on Amazon handmade and listing is free - it’s 15% fee when sold and you have to do usps tracking so the minimal postage is around $4 - just giving you and idea.

I love your videos so much! Keep doing what you do! Also I’ve been making candles for a few years now and switched from the double broiler method to a presto pot. I got mine used off Amazon for like $25. I melt the wax in there and use a ladle to put the wax into my pitcher. It saves me so much time!

I think you have the right attitude, ignore this kind of people :) Clearly it's the one who was talking negatively about you that as a problem, and definitely needs to consult! Maybe it was projection, it generally is! But it seems quite excessive as a reaction. If she doesn't like the content, she just has to stop watching..! As simple as that. Some people are just a lost cause. So please, keep thinking positive and try to forget about these people. Your videos are great, you show it as it is, it's not fake, it's life. There are ups and down. Same about your emotions, you are human. Personally I really appreciate that you are authentic.
