Formerly known as Welk Resort San Diego, this resort is now called Hyatt Vacation Club at the Welk. This place offers one-to-three-bedroom villas, a perfect destination for large families with kids, couples, and adult travel groups alike.
We already got our room keys but before we head over to our villa, we decided to order some food from Pizza Hut.
This resort offers incomparable amenities such as 2 golf courses, a farmer’s market and an on-site village for shopping, groceries, dining, and theater.
We are now entering the gate and will head over to Mountain Villas where our unit is located.
The Welk resort has condo style villas, divided into three distinct areas - Resort Villas, Villas on the Greens, and Mountain Villas. Each contemporary unit is elegantly appointed and equipped with deluxe amenities for comfort and convenience. Their units come with full kitchens, dining areas, living room and private balconies or patios.
For this weekend, we rented the Mountain Villa 3-bedroom suite, and my cousin Allan Jay with his family are joining us. Our goal is just to relax, enjoy this beautiful property and spend quality time with the family.
The fun features at the Welk are centered around five recreation centers, each of which has at least one pool, eight in total. Some of the rec centers resemble small water parks with pool waterslides. We are on our way to Mountain Villa recreation center and pool. Come with us to check it out!
Nestled on 450 sprawling acres in the hills of Escondido, this 570-room property with clusters of villas set among a scenic tree-lined landscape surrounded by rocky hills.
The Hyatt Vacation Club at the Welk is within a short driving distance to many attractions in Southern California, but not walking distance of anything.
North County of San Diego where this resort is located is notable for its wineries, casinos, and mountain views. Just outside of town , this place is 25 minutes away from San Diego Zoo Safari Park, a popular tourist attraction. It’s a 30-minute drive west to the Pacific Coast and expect a 40-to-50-minute drive to downtown San Diego.

Wow ! Nice naman dyan . Everything you need is in the vicinity of the place you stayed in ! Ganda din ng view ! Ganda ng unit …so big .
