What a collection you have Eli; there are many Beatles collectors on You Tube, but you, Marv, Brad, Joe, John Heaton and Andrew Dixon are the guys I love to watch. Not just for your amazing collections, but your knowledge of Beatles records is amazing. Keep them coming 👍

Thanks again Richard. The names you've mentioned are all my favorites too.
      Cheers, Eli.

Yea, it's amazing isn't it? During the 70's the cost of an American import was so expensive that I had to put all my monthly allowance that my parents gave me, on it...

Hello Eli; Good to see you in high spirits given the ongoing current situation. Thanx for the mention, much appreciated. Always liked the line up for the American Beatle LP's as they included more of the groups recorded song output than the import versions. Hard Days Night an original Mono, for the Stereo only George Martin's songs were upgraded as he was on United Artists. Informative, well explained. Tina.

Thanks Tina. I'm trying my best to keep my spirit high. Music and records is always the best way to lift my spirit.
Because the American Beatles albums were my regular way of listening habit during my teenager years, I pretty much got use to it. Although the Beatles themselves didn't like it - the singles are all there, and it's enough for me.

I cannot believe how pristine that you kept the albums that you bought in the seventies Eli. The 'Second Album' looks brand new. 🎵 So 'I'll Cry Instead' was a typo on a lot of the Hard Days Night albums? Be back later on Eli. Fantastic so far. I am always fascinated and learning more and more when you post any of your Beatles collection. I do brag about it when talking to friends. Have a nice day today~

I am finally back Eli. Correct me if I am wrong Eli. But did you say that Something New is your favorite album by The Beatles? 10:32 The price on it does sound kind of steep for the late sixties. I was paying $2.77 for albums in stores like Woolworths back then. Now the $2.50 price on the Beatles 65 is more accurate. I am still amazed at how nice your original copies are from the sixties. Now I remember always taking care of my records even at an early age. But I must have really beat up my original pressings. Because I had to buy second copies of Peppers and the White Album because of skips. I played them so many times that I wore them out. But I took them to house parties and such. I was not the only one who handled the records. Thanks again Eli. Have a nice weekend~

Welcome back, Rob. The price tag (according to the sticker on it) of Something New is $5.99 - which is indeed quite expensive even by your testimony...
You bought these records in the time of their release?
As for the condition, my listening copies from the seventies were taking care of by me (without taking them to parties and such), so it's not so surprising. But it's really amazing how well the sixties originals were kept all those years - some of them still in shrinkwrap with their stickers.
A great weekend to you too.
      Eli from Israel
