Is there a link for the quick release?
Fine laser designs clips are great!! Worth the money. East to install.
Just got the Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2300 installed in the VS4-10. After removing the motor from the transmission it just dropped in. Lots of screws. Thank Gold for the electric screwdriver. Notice the speed increase from 5.0mph with the brushed to 7 to 7.8 mph. Definitely improved performance. I have the Hobbywing Fusion 1800 on the GateKeeper and has also improved. Thanks for the video.
Been waiting for this one
I just installed a HW fusion 1800 kv in my new 410 pro…not all done yet but these motor combos work very good!
Forgot the link to Fine Laser Designs. Great recommendations on the VS4-10. Thanks.
The Hobbywing Brushed 555 motor fits the Vanquish Phoenix with no modifications! No cutting & no grinding to install 58.5 mm in length and cost $21.99 from AMAIN
Zoku chassis kit is the absolute best performance upgrade for the Phoenix. 2nd best is either Jconcepts Tusk or Proline Krawlers.
Nice dude I got one also with the Zoku just got all the electronics swapped out yesterday still haven't driven it yet. Glad to hear its has good performance
@ethang2731 The Zoku chassis kit is definitely the best. I've got a rock pirates Ultra build that's lighter weight than my Zoku but the Zoku still out performs it. It's getting swapped to an artful dodgers carbon groundfox kit soon as I have time to put it together. Also have the VRD on the way to try out too.
@@TheAmericanUhate i agree first time driving a vanquish or Zoku ever excellent combo with a fusion 1800 and good servo. Boy was I impressed. Nice how do you like those tusk or crawlers. Good lucky with those next builds sounds expensive!
I bought the Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2300 motor for the Vs4-10 that you suggested. I pulled the old motor out, and the Hobbywing Fusion Pro will not fit in the space unless I remove the transmission. You can't install the motor at an angle. I will eventually get it to work, but that was a big surprise!!!
You just have to trim a couple non-structurable tabs of plastic. We've covered it before many times but not on this video. Apolgies for that.
Great list Fran. Did you have any tips for setting up the dig/overdrive servos?? I am having a hard time getting the end points set.
I used this video to set up my dig on chan 3 on the rtr. Works like a charm.

@@MrSmith223 Thanks for the recommendation. I missed this one!! I watch all of his vid!!!!👍👍👍
@@jdsrcs8061 no problem my friend. Dig is awesome. It’s the channel 4 on our radios I don’t understand.
@@MrSmith223sets up 46% overdrive, 6% overdrive and the middle on channel 4 is 2wd rear drive.
Wheres those quick release tabs from?
Hey there. I have the Falken portal axle RTR, and I've installed the Fusion Pro 2300KV. However, mine won't go as slow as you did in the video. Do you have any idea why? I've already changed the pinion gear to 12T (the stock was 15T), but it still won't go as slow as yours.
Why recommend brass portal covers for a straight axle rtr ?
I lied Francis about my sixth crawler being the Redcat Accent. I got a crazy deal on a Phoenix with a Zuko instead
On the VP page, they mention VS4-10 supports 540 sized motors. Can it fit 550 size, e.g. hb axe?
I have the r2 540l axe system in mine. It’s tight the 550 would be tough.
Mine did
😎😎👍👍
Their aftermarket parts cost almost as much as real car parts...
Thats just a rushed video because we were promised that video month ago. I dont trust RC Review anymore, it turned into a product display show.
Elaborate. The video seems fine to me. It's a good product. He's just showing top 5 mods (his opinion of course ) --- feel free to make your own top 5 vanquish phoenix mods
You really should atleast set up the dig if u have never used one it a game changer and is alot of fun
Hey Bud! Lo g time subscriber! We're are you located. Li e to try those line out
I am in San Jose, CA. This is a place called Linda Vista Park
It looks more rational in terms of total costs to buy RTR then just the kit, isn’t it?
Correct. This is especially true since the electronics they chose for the RTR are plenty good enough to last a while.
Oh, so this is just the exact same upgrade list as every other “best upgrades for..”
Always is…
I can't find the waste of money to get a stronger servo for $15 dollars less than the reefs raw 500. Reefs is too high priced imo.
