This impact is now out! amzn.to/3N6bFci
The winner of this tool has been picked, and replied to! i.imgur.com/uIn5pCN.png Congratz to Todd Stewart!
We updated our ranking a few hours ago as we sometimes do: etsy.me/3G8j3QK And already had a couple emails asking us if these were typo's.
Nope, no typo's. Them there are dewalt's stats. From the best we can tell, double checked, median runs. Dont enjoy going out on a limb putting out such drastically new numbers for a category, especially being the 1st one out there. But that's how the dyno saw it. We look forward to buying another to see it yet again, and because we want ones for ourselves now.
Torque of TTC is working for Astro tools who also make impacts (air) but has no relationship with Stanley Black & Decker. Always consider multiple sources when looking at a tool!

What’s funny is if a competent (key word) government ran a company for tools (aside from the ones working there now) that would be the result anyways, they would be competing with themselves to try to make a better tool to make the job easier, and a large force of that would be in two main decisions, making sure nothing can’t be turned with their most powerful option and making sure as much as possible can be turned with their more compact options, then at some point user friendly options would come in due to likely complaints (even a good government cannot be omniscient) which would be likely due to over torque or damage along with comfort and ergonomics, at some point there would be either two options of each or changeable handles since some people don’t like flex heads, and there may be programable or switchable program sets to avoid cycling through dozens of unnecessary (for that user) programs and features, but not 6 dozen different tools like the current market, the real question comes for users who like different colours or logo types (im a fan of even the general shape of the dewalt logo) because the government no matter how competent and for the people they are would be really unlikely to make different versions of tools/casings just because someone doesn’t like a colour, the only thing to drive that would be if people hated it enough to go back to other brands and even then they aren’t profit oriented so it’s not a major concern

But no one is going to switch over to Dewalt battery system since no one’s bought into them since their 18v Ni-Cd XR line. Milwaukee and Makita just destroyed them on all fronts and still built to last, unlike Dewalt where you bump it and it shatters into little pieces. PITA

The electric jack on my big enclosed car hauling trailer went out, so was using the driver to jack the trailer up. It lasted about 5-6 hitch/unhitches before letting the smoke out! There’s a lot to be said to keeping the big dog manufacturers in check. Actually proving what they claim is something we all need when making a decision on what to purchase. I’ve been Milwaukee fan for a while but Have since Switched to Dewalt because of Milwaukee’s lack of quality of their tools And cost. This video proves my decision even more. Thanks for everything you do.

Finally DeWalt is on top for once! Lol I would like to see it with a powerstack or flexvolt battery to see the if there's any difference. All DeWalt needs to do is make a 60Volt high torque and they would have a very solid line up for a while and the new 12v impacts are impressive! Want to get the new 12v cordless ratchet soon!

Sometimes I'm puzzled by the whole amp-hour battery rating thing mattering for performance. I kind of feel like TTC should hook up a humongous (e.g. 100A, 500A, whatever) bench DC supply (or maybe just a few hundred pounds some really beefy marine or car batteries through a DC/DC converter?) to the shell of a battery and see how these tools run with an "infinite amp-hour" battery as benchmark.
