I got the re-release if hun with the fixed hips. He was s one of my favorite Transformers for sure. Also the ankle joints on mine are pretty tight so I have not had any issues with him falling over in different poses
If it was'nt for the soft plastic, the ss version is basically a small scale masterpiece. The Dotm Shockwave has a lot of the classic design characteristics
I agree. The DNA design kit basically makes that guy MP too!
I completely agree, I would get the ss if not for the $40 necessary upgrade kit. Right now it’s already >$200, I don’t need to add another $40 😭
I think I’ll stick with the larger better $160 version (even less if bought used/no box)
The bayverse shockwave was good as a character/toy,i know his design kinda scary and creepy and weird and he's not the genius one eye guy as always but at least he has the best dotm design
My favorite part about this character is that even though Prime wrecked Megatron in the 2nd film, Shockwave did not seem to fear Prime in the slightest, and had a commanding presence of his own.
We can still probably infer that Shockwave is still smart, he might have built the Driller.

yeah and he only got 2 minute screen time is a disrespect for shockwave.
When i received this in july 2020, my ratchets are fine but the spread lev joint is broken, fast forward to September 2020, i received the replacement parts and man....the difference in the thickness and the plastic material is like night and day...shockwave still standing magnificently in my shelf till this day!!!...

Dark of the moon will forever be my all time favorite film just the designs the storyline and vehicles are just out of this world literally in my opinion this version of shockwave next to the bumblebee movie one were just great

I definitely love his DotM design in the same vein as his TFP one, even if his cannon's on the wrong arm.
I got mine a few months ago he looks absolutely awesome!!! one of the coolest figures on my shelf the hip joints are a bit flimsy but so far I'm ok with it, after all it's a display piece

I have had this figure for close to 2 years now but I have had some issues with the lights on the back thrusters. More so the light switches becoming stuck.

THIS LOOKS SICK! Speaking of shockwave, I just made a lego shockwave from prime
If you pop off those pieces above the arm cannon and shave them down smaller you get a deeper elbow bend that allows the other arm to cuff the bottom of the cannon giving you 2 arms holding the gun. Kinda gives the look of Arnold Schwarzenegger holding a mini gun in predator . Without the arm plate mod the cannon arm wont reach the other arm for this pose. Just an fyi. Makes all the difference in the world I promise.
Does anyone have a clue how to truly distinguish the versions of him? I recently bought him and asked the seller if it’s a fixed hips version before I bought it. But I still would love to know how many versions there are and how to distinguish em
They've finally put DOTM on Netflix, wasn't expecting the movie to be on there.

The new updated 2023 versions have been updated and the hip joints don't break anymore, finding this guy at low price is tough though. 👾👾💜

Is this the same Version which it gives in the Iacon Store Shop as better Remake ? Sorry to ask, but my english isnt good enough to hear it out from the Review. My ordered Zeus by Iacon Store was broken on Arm & Legjoints and waits since April last Year for a new one. Is this Show Z Store better for ordering this Figure ?
oddly enough the hip joints were never a issue for me, the shoulder ratchet joints however seemed far to small and thin to support such bulky arms

He does look amazing. He's just too big for my collection. I'd have nowhere to put him! Also after BMB OSKO Brawl I'm kinda done with OSKOs unless they're really really good, cause they can't hold their own weight! Definitely wish they had added waist rotation and even an ab crunch to this guy.

Ah I bought this guy recently, hasn't turned up yet but if Zeus Toys have installed the replacement parts already, I am hopeful for mine to not break.

I ordered this thing from ebay its new and stuff, and it includes its normal stuff like the solider, and the mini robots, but its comes in like February.
It would be awsome to compare this figure with the alien attack Megatron! 😍😍

His transformation really gave me leader class rotf megatron vibes
I did hear that current batches of this guy fixed the breakages, but that unfortunately the paint job is no longer is good as the first batches.

I can say without a doubt that the copy I received recently is PERFECT. Only gripe is slightly questionable plastic quality but so far so good 👍

But yeah, he's pretty much a remold of SS ROTF Megatron. As they transform pretty much the same, but their sculpts are very different.

Which version is this?
From what I've heard:
- Version one: Breakage in the hips and sometimes shoulders too
- Version two: They tried to fix the aforementioned problem but still has a chance to fail on its own
- Version three: Garbage
