Wow, this was quite an impressive video. I think this is probably one of the best product reviews I have seen for suitless mocap. RADiCAL has always had a great reputation, going back from when I first started learning Unreal. I am really impressed with your experience with this as this solution seems like it has been developed based on what everyone has been asking for (real time, affordable, easy to use, video footage and integration with pipelines, oh facial animation and finger data too). Guess RADiCAL listens to the community. Here is what I liked that you covered so so well: 1. Video based data with facial animation...I did a double take 2. Realtime body data with finger data...that is pretty cool too 3. Using it like sequencer to add your animation data into a timeline with a scene 4. Showing how to use it with other software and even showing the retargeting process. Again, this is an exceptional video you made to walk people though what this solution offers. I really enjoyed this and congrats to RADiCAL! p.s. loved the dog sleeping!!!! p.s.s. thumbnail for the video is the best

okay okay! That's pretty cool man, not gonna lie. The live capture into Unreal with Meta Humans!......now that's cleeaaaan!! that default android looking like it's gonna jump into my dreams 😂😅
If you just want to send over the data you can use the FBX or if you want to live stream it they actually have a plugin that'll allow you to link it all up live
@@weshootfilms honestly Metahumans can be hella janky so I often will use iclone to get it all right then take my character from there to bring into Unreal. I like reallusion better I feel like they have better character creation tools.
@ I started in reallusion and they are great but they can also be pretty expensive. I just love creating in unreal engine but I might have to. Unreal makes the animation process more difficult than it needs to be.
@@weshootfilms yea I feel you on that they do nickle n dime you for everything but the software itself is great. Unreal is my software of choice for sure its just the metahumans I feel like they dropped the ball on they are to difficult to navigate it should be way easier to use.
I wouldn't say rip to anything as there's always going to be use cases for what your trying to do. Options are always good though right tool for the right job I always say.
Having experimented with both Radical and Move One, I have to say move one was considerably better requiring less cleanup. You don't get the facial capture data but that's not an issue if using metahumans facial capture tools!
Yea I haven't used Move in I think like an year and a half so I can't give an honest opinion on it but Radical is free to use so it's easy enough to jump in to see what kind of result you'd get 🤙🏿
