Humanity is borderless | Jaruwan Supolrai | TEDxBangkok

"How can we hate each other if we haven't met yet?" During Jaruwan's travel in 5 Mekong countries, she found acceptance, friendship, and new perspectives in those she was taught by the media to hate. Her journey proved that humanity is indeed borderless.
Jaruwan Supolrai, Netting, small and sweet lady from Ubon Ratchatani, decided to leave her hometown to visit the 5 countries neighbouring the MeKong River. She travelled 5,000 kilometers in the span of 5 months to connect with neighbouring countries not as nations, but as human beings.

I met this incredible woman in 2007 and I cannot say enough about her energy, her fearlessness and her ability to create friendships wherever she goes. Netting is an intelligent breath of fresh air always, and I cannot figure out how she does so very much. I am so proud of you, Netting, and this speech, and all of what you do. Way to go, Woman!
