- Praya will talk about growing up in a multicultural society and how this has shaped her in becoming who she is today. Her would like to motivate youth to dream big and live those dreams.
Praya Nataya Lundberg is a well-known half-Swedish, half-Thai actress/model in Thailand. She completed her high school education at NIST and went on to continue her studies in the United Kingdom. She has starred in over a dozen Thai television series, as well as several films and endorsements. Praya will talk about growing up in a multicultural society and how this has shaped her in becoming who she is today. Her would like to motivate youth to dream big and believe in their dreams.

Americans do not have an accent. :-)
Actually, we do have an accent. In fact, there are several different accents within the US alone, but most Americans speak with what is known as the General American Accent.
My grandmother is from Arkansas. She had an accent. Those of us from LA are like white rice.
+dksharron if we were to go to a different state...they would know we were from CA. I thought I didn't have an accent until someone pointed it out to me. Oh well lol

i met her once. we sat next to each other on a flight back from osaka. the way she treated stranger(s) that night changed my point of view about her ( from what i've seen on tabloids and stars gossips for decades). i was so surprised to see her so nice , kind and such warm-hearted. in just 1 short flight i became wondering what happened to the queen bee star i used to see on tv. but after i watched this speech of her, i am now so sure that this woman has truly grown up in very best way. people can really change. and Praya is one of the best example. from now please let me be one of her fanclubs. I really adore her great heart.

ไม่เข้าใจว่าทำไมคนไทยเม้นท์พูดถกเถียงแต่เรื่องสำเนียงเขา แทนที่จะฟังเนื้อหาที่เขาพูด พวกอินเดียสำเนียงไม่แปะเขายังไม่ว่ากันเลยสักนิด เพลียจริงๆ
ไม่หรอกครับ บางคนเขาก็ได้แรงบรรดาลใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ อยากเก่งแบบนี้อยากสำเนียงดีแบบนี้ คนที่บอกว่าพูดไม่ดี ไล่ ๆ ดูก็ไม่เห็นนะครับ อาจจะมีบ้างที่บอกว่าเขาพูดไทยไม่ชัด แต่ก็น้อยมากส่วนใหญ่ก็ชมอ่ะ คนที่ฟังไม่ค่อยออกก็ยังมาดู แล้วได้ความประทับใจได้แรงบรรดาลใจในการเรียนภาษาฝึกภาษา ก็เป็นเรื่องที่ดีนะผมว่า

เนื้อหาที่น้องปูพูดดีมากเลยค่ะ วิธีคิดเยี่ยม. แต่เรื่องสำเนียงคือก็ไม่ค่อยเป๊ะจริงๆเหมือนเจ้าของภาษา ซึ่งก็ถือว่าเป็นเรื่องปกติของลูกครึ่งที่เกิด/โตในเมืองไทยและเรียนนานาชาติ.

สองคนแรกเกิดที่อาเมกา ย้ายไปเมืองไทยตอน ป5 กับป1
คนที่สามเกิดที่เมืองไทย
ซึ่งแม้ทั้งสามจะเรียนนานาชาติเหมือนกัน แต่ปรากฏว่าคนที่ได้สำเนียงเจ้าของภาษาจะมีแค่คนแรก เป็นคนที่ภาษาอังกฤษแน่นที่สุดในบ้านเพราะย้ายไปไทยตอนป5😄

คนเก่ง สวย หุ่นดี พูดอังกฤษเก่งต้องแบบนี้นะคะ ไม่ใช่เก่งแค่เดินพรมแดงทุกปี มีคนคอยเตรียมการไว้ให้ทุกอย่างแล้ว เพื่อสินค้าเค้า เค้าก็ต้องพยายามทำให้คุณดูดี เทียบเท่าดารานอกมาเดินพรมแดง

why do thai people worry about accent ? This is Ted talk and language is a tool for comunication . The most importance thing of this speech is core what she was saying. We are not native speaker and pronouncition is also very importance. Accent is not a big deal for this TED . You should try to understand What is TED. Getting the point is more importance than judging people from out sides what they do but try to get their perspective as well.

+ลูกศร คลองด่าน I agree on* your opinion. คุณตก preposition ไปนะครับ จะยังไงก็ตามมันหลุดประเด็น! ประเด็นของเจ้าของเม้นคือ อย่าสนใจสำเนียงมากไป สนใจความหมายที่ผู้พูดต้องการจะสื่อดีกว่า คุณมัวไปสนใจ grammar ใจความสำคัญเลยลอยข้ามหัวคุณไป ที่ผมแก้คำผิดของคุณเพราะคุณสนใจจะแก้ grammar คนอื่นแต่ลืมดูว่าต้องแก้ตัวเองด้วยครับ
ไม่มีใครเพอร์เฟคหรอกคะ ไม่มีใครเขียนถูกทุกคน และไม่มีใครจะตั้งใจเขียน และกลับมาอ่านเป็นร้อยครั้งว่าเขียนผิดตรงไหนบ้าง ฉันว่า ถ้าคนไทยบางคน ตั้งใจเรียน พยายามมากกว่า ยุ่งเรื่องของตัวเอง และทำหน้าที่องตัวเองได้ดีก่อนจะมาว่าคนอื่น คงจะดีนะคะ nobody is perfect you know ! มัวแต่คอยจะด่าว่ากันเอง คอยจะหาจุดด้วยของคนอื่น เดียวก้ไผว่าเขา อุ้ยพูดอิงได้ แต่สำเนียงไม่ได้ so what ? คนไทย ภาษาแรกเกิด คือภาษาไทย มันยากมากที่จะมาพูดภาษาอื่น ด้วยสำเนียงที่เปะ 100% พูดได้ก้ถือว่าบุญแล้วคะ !!! ส่วนเรื่องเขียน จากประสบการของฉันที่โต ที่ต่างประเทศ มีเพื่อนเป็นฝรั่ง คนฝรั่ง ไม่เกิน 30% เขียนได้ถูกเปะ ไม่มีผิดพลาดคะ และคนไทยนะคะ ที่ชอบจะตินั่นตินี่ คนนั้นคนนี้ ทำไมไม่เห็นติบ้านเมืองตัวเองเลยว่า พัฒนาช้าจัง ไม่ทันสมัยเลย ไม่มีอะไรดีๆเลย ทำไมคนยากจนจังเลย ทำไมการศึกษาถึงแย่จังเลย... ทำไมคนเห็นแถ่ตัวเยอะจังเลย ทำไมตัวอย่างของบ้านเมืองคือขี้ยา ขี้คุก ฆาตกร พวกแก้ผ้า โชว์ร่างกายตังเอง ทำไมคนพวกนี้เป็นตัวอย่างอนาคตบ้านเมือง ทำไมเมืองที่เขาร่ำรวย วันๆข่าวของเขาถึงมีแต่การให้ความสำคัญกับการศึกษาเด็ก แก้ใขปัญหาคนตกงาน หาทางนำเงินเข้าประเทส ใช้เงินให้เป็นประโยช มีระบบการศึกษา รักษา ประกัน ค้นหา ๚ล๚ มีเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ ทำไมบ้านเราไม่มีบ้าง วันๆละเบื่อ เดียวก้ข่าวแบบ เห้ย น้องคนนั้นเต้นเพลงงูออกมา คืนเดียวสามล้านวิว ดังข้ามคืนไม่น่าเชื่อ น่าตาน่ารัก บลาๆ สองสามวันต่อมา โดนแฉ มีแชตมีไรหลุด ทีเรื่องคนนั้นคนนี้ เพราะสื่อแท้ๆ เพราะตัวอย่างที่ไม่ดี เพราะคนที่เห็นแก่ตัว คิดแต่จะเอาเงินเข้ากระเป่าตัวเอง ทำให้หลายๆคน มีตัวอย่างในด้านลบ สังคมจอมปลอม ไม่มีคนที่มีความคิดเป็นตัวเอง เด็กช่วยเหลือตัวเองไม่เป็น เอาตัวอย่างไม่ดี รัฐบาลไม่เอาไหน ยาเสพติดทั่วประเทส พวกมีอำนาจ ก้ใช้มันในทางที่ผิด เอานาจข่มหัวชาวบ้าน ตัวรวจกลายเป็นโจร บางคนเอาเงินใส่กระเป่าตัวเอง บางคนนำยาที่ว่าจับได้ แล้วเอาไปขายเอง บางคนยัดยา พังชีวิตคนอื่น เพื่อจะที่ว่าจะได้รับคำชม ได้เงิน ได้เลื่อนตำแหน่ง แต่คนดีๆก้ติดคุก เมืองไทยมันน่ากลัว แต่คนไทยก็ไม่สนใจ ก็นิ่งเฉยไม่ทำอะไร ไม่รู้เพราะว่ายังตาไม่สว่าง ยังไม่เข้าใจ หรือว่ากลัว หรืออะไร ก้แล้วแต่ อยากจะให้คนไทยคิดเยอะๆ ไตร่ตรอง เพื่ออนาคตของชาติ เพื่อบ้านเรา คอยตักเตือนลูกหลาน คอยสอนในทางที่ดี อย่าปล่อยให้เขาเสพสื่อบนโสเชียวมากนัก มันเร็วและอันตรายมาก
อยากให้เมืองไทยเป็นเมืองสงบ รัฐประชาธิประไตย มีการเลือกตั้งด้วยใจของ ปปช ไม่มีการโกง อยากให้บ้านเราสงบ ให้คนพัฒนา เลิกมีแต่ความคิดในแง่ลบ และคอยย่ำยีคนอื่นว่าเขาด้อยกว่า อยากให้ทุกอย่างเปลี่ยน เพราะที่เรามองๆแล้ว ในปัจจุบรร เมืองไทยไม่มีข้อดีเลย คิดว่าใครๆก็รู้ แม้แต่นักท่องเที่ยวยังไม่กล้าไปแล้ว เพราะมันน่ากลัว คนบนโลกเริ่มให้คงามคิดว่า เมืองไทยไม่ดีงั้นงี้ ทั้งที่แต่ก่อนยังดีกว่านี้ เมืองที่จะพัฒนาไปเรื่อยๆ ควรจะได้รับคำชมของคนอื่นๆมากขึ้นไม่ใช่หรอ แต่ทำไมเมืองเราถึงแย่ลง แย่ลง
เราจะบรรยาย ความคิดเห็นนี้ไปได้นานทั้งวัน ได้หลายประเด็นมาก มันคงไม่จบหรอก...
และสิ่งที่อยากให้เป็นคงเป็นแค่ฝัน เพราะกว่าบ้านเมืองนี้จะเปลี่ยน เราคงตายไปแล้ว 😢😢😂
