Good video. I liked the look of both packs but was very fortunate to get a Wisport Crafter 55 on an eBay auction for £28 as new. Problem was the hip belt was missing. So I contacted Wisport in Poland and managed to get a replacement for £40. For £68 I scored a backpack that costs over £300😁

I think you would be more pleased with the Karrimor SF Predator 45 than the Sabre, Wooly.
You are so right though about the Berghaus belt buckle being superior.
    Karrimor launched in 1946.

The Karrimor does have an opening for the waterbladder hose. When you have the pack on your back, it is on your left side. The shoulderstrap has an elastic strap on the top, to hold it in place. It is a little hard to find. Thank you for your videoes.

You have your specs wrong on the sabre mate. The sabre is 1000 denier nylon not 100 as you have stated.

Considered the Berghaus from one of your previous videos on it, but oddly it's not easily available here in Canada. Went with a surplus KAZ03, adding a battle belt I had around. Going to give that a go next week, hopefully.

owning two berghaus (30 + 20, 90 + 20) myself, here's what i don't like on 'em: you can't remove the waist-belt if you travel light, and there's no way to fasten the "sleepingbag-combo" (bivvy-bag, isomat, sleepingbag) under the rucksack.
(yes one can put the combo under the top-lit, but that adds some 3 to 4kg (depending on which sleepingbag is loaded) to the top, while it'd be more comfy to have that weight UNDER the whole package)

I'm a firm believer of putting my sleep system inside my bag , just in case
