I love how as a civil engineer, it's all about turning everything into triangles to prevent motion, but for mechanical engineering, our bread and butter of motion are 'four bar mechanisms' as it's the simplest shape that can carry motion. For what it's worth, parallelograms are really good at keeping a beam at the same angle as another static beam while being translatable along a circular path.
I really like the way you write out a sponsor's name in a working bridge! It feels more authentic than those youtubers who are just acting over-excited about some sponsor.
Tyler once was taught the best PB2 advice he ever got: *Do not shave before finishing the level* You don't wanna lose your beard that soon RCE! But in all seriousness, at about 4 mins you almost had it under budget, and it probably would have worked if you didn't start shaving before trying the good one :)
I assumed it was Schmichael because there was self-deprecating humor in there! I guess editing RCE likes poking fun at gaming RCE more than I realised!
In "First Jump", I managed it in $11,908 without a catcher at the end (I'm no good at springs, so I didn't use any). You're much better at this, so you could probably do something one-sided more successfully.
Honestly, you really inspired me to start a TH-cam channel. I’m a civil engineer that wants to educate young and aspiring engineering. Hopefully I don’t F*ck this up. I might make a poly bridge episode. Who knows
you coldve put 1 hydrolic in the middle pulling down and it puls the 2 sides of the bridge kinodf like a t where the tall part is the hydrolic and the sideways part conects to the two triangles
Hi whats the tune in the back round? It's realy calm and nice I would like to listen to it on repeat. If anyone knows it's name I would appreciate the help in finding out
*Hey i am an aspiring Civil engineer. It's my 1st year of college in India. I love your videos man.* *It would be awesome if you recreate some bridges from india in your next episode of 'real bridges in poly bridge 2'.* 😁😁😁
Hey RCE, I actually have a question about how your job works! Here It is: when you build things like bridges, do you use a program like poly bridge to test your bridge? Thanks!

PLEASE! What is that date?
@@nekrugderzweite8298 month/day/year
@@nekrugderzweite8298 that’s how it is in America
But this is not america. RCE is British so you write dates DD/MM/YY or YY/MM/DD. MM/DD/YY is just stupid. Day OF the month not month of the day.
If the 23 was 12 how would anyone know if you meant 2nd of December or 12th of February. Use DD/MM/YY like the rest of the world.
So happy to see you back on polybridge
Please do these stages regularly

How about overengineering bridges,

Yeah I do question a lot of my thought processes when watching footage back haha
Just lovely to see old RCE polybridge videos, everything so shy and normal, compares to these day's strongest shapes and ILLEGAL cheeses 😂

Hey RCE, I actually have a question about how your job works! Here It is: when you build things like bridges, do you use a program like poly bridge to test your bridge? Thanks!
Ish, we don't use games but specific detailed modelling software- otherwise it would take ages to design things!
So it’s closer to a 3D modeling software?
Kinda concerned that you only saw a double d instead of a big V in that bridge
