I grew up in Louisiana (Ouachita Parish), but have lived in Arizona for many years now. We are building on our acreage in Cochise County, which is great because we have opt-out and owner-builder options for our inspections. Because of our ground and soil type here in Arizona, this is the one area that I decided to skip out on DIY. I went with a post-tension slab to create a monolithic slab and was like Nope; I will leave it to the professionals!
The foundation is the most important part of the build. Definitely smart to get it done right
