Whenever you demonstrate straining, you intentionally sing out of tune. So it seems more like an example of being out of tune rather than strain. I would love to hear what you consider strained singing with good intonation.
Ah thank you I found this! Now I learned to sing better and have an excuse- If my neighbor knocks, either I’ll tell him my baby’s just hungry & crying, or just testing my guitar wahwah pedal. 😂

I hear you! I do find that many people go off pitch (flat) when they are straining to hit the notes, although that is certainly not always the case.

How to help with the low notes lol🙈
I cannot do the low notes like "his grace runs deep" . I can't.
Make sure to choose a key that works best for your voice-and don't count yourself out... with diligent training the voice can learn to do many things!
