As Psych major I appreciate the message of the lyrics and the idea that it can help someone who's fighting battles that keeps affecting his/her life because of the variety of experiences that affects their entire life and well being. Healing and freedom is possible.

I'm 16, I was seeing a psychologist last year because my trauma is really taking a toll on me. I can't focus on studies, I can't sleep at night, I can't last a minute beside a stranger or someone that I'm not close with. I really needed a psychologist so I told my grandma to bring me there. I grew up with her, she agreed on bringing me to a psychologist because she knows that I'm mentally unstable. My parents, uncles and aunties found out that I was seeing a psychologist, on my first and second counselling they hinted that they do not agree that I go there but they don't said that directly. But at my third counselling they told me to stop going there, they said "baliw ka ba at nagpapapsychiatrist ka?" "Nasa isip mo lang yan, di mo naman kaylangan nyang psycho psycho na yan" "wag ka nang pumunta don andito naman kami" "wag ka nang magpa psycho kung ano man yan, baliw lang ang nagpapaganon, di ka naman baliw, top 1 ka nga eh". I want to live a life where I am free from all my trauma, but I can't, my family won't let me.
