Just to give a little clarification the specific fire elementals that went to the magical islands are based off of the magical islands originally being planned to be fire Islands, like with psychics fire frontier. Edamami was planned to be the quad of fire frontier, along with yelmut being for light island, flum ox being for bone island, and krillby being for faerie island.

Bro light island is literally the best island imo and faerie, Light island wouldn’t be as good if they didn’t have the cloud monster. (Maybe im just biased because it’s holiday..)
To be honest I find the choice of monsters on the Psychic Island to be the most genious one if you count the Fire Frontier and the voting for the 4th element that was carried out at that time Edamimi represents Team Earth Bisonorus represents Team Air Bowhead kinda represents Team Cold because at the time most people voted for Team Cold only for Bowgart (also because Bowhead has the exact same elements as Deedge excluding fire)
If I could remake the fire expansion, I’d switch yelmut flum ox. Flum ox fits light island’s slow melodic vibe more, and vice versa for Yelmut and bone island’s bombastic and upbeat vibes.
I’m pretty sure I know the reason why certain monsters are on the islands they are, but this is merely an assumption: Initially, before Magical islands were magical, they were meant to be fire islands. Flum Ox would have been the quad of what Bone is now, Light would have had Yelmut, Krillby would have been in Faerie, and seemingly Edamimi would have been on Psychic.

I don’t like the sound font for Candelavra’s voice in the main game, it sounds more like a strange synth noise instead of a heavenly vocal. If she used her same sound font from Dawn of Fire, she would sound much better on Haven.
Agreed, 100%. I'd also like to bring up Candelavra's idle animation. Am I the only one who thinks it's really stiff and janky compared to the smooth and calm movements of its Dawn of Fire version?

Fire Expansion is so genuinely wild to me as a week of content. In a single week, we got THIRTEEN new monster sounds, 8 Rares that migrated to a new island, and 3 new rares. All across 9 islands!! Plus, this is the first week where you can ascend Plixie without gambling or spending diamonds. It's genuinely such a huge update. I don't even remember the last time we got an update this big... if we ever even have. The launch of the game?? I'm pretty sure 1.0.0 had 23 monsters and 2 islands, which depending on how you count it is either barely more or barely less than this update's new content.
Light island theme is like a mash between a lullaby and a parade. First half of the song is more lullaby but as the song progress you hear horns, drums,loud noises and fire works what you usually hear on parades and as the beat drops its like a lullaby again but with horns of a parade in it. This update was what light island needed in my opinion. Lack of drums/percussion here have tiawa and drummidary, repetitive? here lets make tiawa play near the beginning and make yelmut and drummidary play together first then later add tiawa back in the end of the climax, "Light island is boring and quiet" well here have Yelmut and Drummidary. Its like a little of everything that fans want for light island in these three Monster, Im so happy to see everyone loving Light island it really deserves it😁🎉
The reason yelmut is on Light Island is because the magicals were originally supposed to be fire islands and the quads wouldce been: Yelmut - Light Edamimi - Psychic Krillby - Faerie Flum Ox - Bone So they wanted to do a homage to it and the other monsters were just picked because woopie!
Idk about 5 elements but i think it’s because (like fire frontier) I think it was the possible voting for their islands if they didn’t use magic elements
You should make a yearly video of updating your msm rankings. Because in like every week or two songs change a little or a lot. And plane out new songs come out.
Light Island has always been my favorite Magical island, and I’m glad to see it getting positive attention. I’ve always been a fan of Light Island despite is harsh criticisms. While others found it to be repetitive and annoying, I’ve always found peace and comfort. But now the inclusion of Yelmut and Drummidary, it not only kept those intact but it also added vigor to it, made it feel victorious. All I got left to say is that they did it, they gave Light Island the chance to really shine!
Honestly, Light Island's Seasonal event should have been what the Island looked like from the start. If the Island is about Light and the monsters are multi-colored, the rainbow crystals and fireworks just fit it all better than the bland *black and yellow* . The only Seasonal skin worth buying outside of getting the boosts.
one of the quads on each of the magical islands has the elements that the island was originally meant to have when it was a fire island, when they switched the islands to the magical islands the fire quads were replaced, for example yellmut has fire, plant, cold and air (air replaced by light) but they are back now! (which is also the reason yellmut and flum ox are on oppisite islands)
I loved all the new Fire Expansion additions, but Light Island was my favourite, and it might partially be because the devs took the risk with Yelmut and went OFF. Light Island was special to me, and now it's somewhere in my Top 5. BBB is amazing.
I assume that for next years DOF Spooktacle, we'll get Punkelton and the other seasonals on an Outer Island. It would be super weird if it just never grew up and went to an outer island ever. It would be a good way to extend the life of the game too.
Next year could maybe be a "growing up" year, where all of the young Core Seasonals (which would presumably be out by that point) would grow up onto another island. Then, the next year could possibly have that island that was "coming soon" release, but this is just theorising at this point.

I'm really excited for Mimic to come to Fire Oasis (the only Fire Island without a Quint), probably during Perplexplore in May. It's also a great opportunity for Mimic to copy more than one Monster in the same song, giving it more of an identity unto itself than "Fwog 2". That's what's reasonably likely to happen. My INSANE theory is this: The Magical Islands each got 2 Fire Quads and 1 Fire Quint added, but Fire Haven and Fire Oasis will only have a Quint when all is said and done. Candelavra is great, but that lone addition was completely overshadowed by the 3 new Monsters on the Magical Islands. So, if the Natural Quint is being added in Perplexplore, I think it's a fantastic opportunity to mirror the Fire Expansion with a Natural Expansion! Entbrat, Riff, Shellbeat, and Quarrister will journey to Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, balancing them out against the Magical Islands. Deedge is left out of the party because the pattern established so far is 2 extra Quads to an Island, and Deedge has already gone on a journey to Shugabush Island. I know this is a bit crazy, but the Fire Expansion was unprecedented in both scope and execution, and with Perplexplore being 6 months apart from Feast-Ember, taking place on the only Fire Island that wasn't expanded, and bringing the Natural Quint to the game, I think it makes sense to do it again!
Only issue: How would you get the Natural Quads and Mimic on Fire Haven/Oasis? Relics represent Fire, and it's not like you can only make them diamonds-exclusive.
Candelevera doesn’t even sound like a vocalist anymore. It’s not bad, but it could have been better. I didn’t have high expectations anyways. Light island moved from my C tier to A tier. I’m in love with Tiawa’s subtle and calming support. It makes the song feel a lot more personal and nostalgic to me. Yelmut also completely blew me away. It gave the song so much power I didn’t know it needed! Psychic island was greatly improved by Bowhead. It makes Gloptic’s verse worth listening to imo, but that Rooba verse… it’s so bad. Now it’s like Bowhead’s competing with Rooba. Bowhead’s build up is wasted, the melody sucks, it’s repetitive, it’s bland, Rooba doesn’t even sound PLEASANT, and Rootitoot is at his worst here! Bowhead could save this island, the song just needs a little revamp. Faerie island just moved to S. No doubt about it. The Froot fly, Tuskski, and Krillby combo is magical. Platty’s good and all, but damn i kind of wish it just let the 3 of them play. Krillby’s second verse is fantastic as well. Bone’s honestly worse for me. Gnarls is just too off putting and it kind of takes charge of its verse instead of supporting it yknow? Let pekidna thrump and toe-jammer do their jobs! I actually really enjoyed hearing Flum ox though. He’s so catchy and I love his deep voice.
those are some agreeable opinions! i think the only disagreement we have is about Psychic, i like the way Bowhead and Rooba play together. as for Rootitoot.. yeah they’re kinda forgettable. i don’t even notice them half the time.

Hey man! Love your videos. Quick tip, when you're fading the scene in the beginning to black, the one where you're in your bedroom instead of having both your character and background fade out at the same time, make a black png and have that fade in over your scene. That makes fixes the problem of you becoming transparent as it fades away :)
@theoriginalalex no problem man! I edit videos myself so I noticed it right away and thought I'd share a work around :) there's probably editor specific fixes to this but this is an easy solution that works anywhere
The Continent and Ethereal Workshop are getting updates! In the Festival of Yay Trailer we see three new monsters! On the Continent we see 2 Monsters never before seen on there, Tuskski and Yool! They both go in the verse with Glowl, Yelmut, Wynq, and Maw! And then, we go to Ethereal Workshop, where at the very end of the trailer, we see lightning strike, which in turn, shows a Shadow for a brand new workshop monster! We also get Rare Scargo, Rare Monculus, and Epic Bellowfish! Edit: Even more updates! We got the Baby Versions of Blabbit and Schmoochle, making the Continent sound… admittedly worse, but then we also got Bowhead, and it is honestly really cool, it’s also on Space Island too! We also got Flasque, Nitebear, Whaill, Piplash, Vhenshun, X’rt, Pentumbra, Teeter-Tauter, and Rhysmuth on Ethereal Workshop! We’re so close to the finale of Ethereal Workshop, meaning we might be seeing Rares, which is something I honestly don’t know how they’ll pull off! Another thing is that unused verse with Whaill is now in the song! It has every single Ethereal Workshop Monster inside of it, and it’s honestly my favorite verse in, not just Ethereal Workshop, but probably the entire game! And the big one, Magical Nexus, which was another island teased by Josh Harmon, as we got a teaser for not just Clackula, but also Bonkers, meaning this is an island for all Magical Monsters… except for the Sanctum Monsters… for some reason, but I’m sure we’ll get them eventually! …aaand we got Mimic in the First Game! Added to Fire Oasis in the Perplexplore 2024 Update, Mimic mimics Spurrit and Gobbleygourd, which is fitting, cuz both of them are silly just like Mimic! I love Mimic’s inclusion! Oh yeah, Wubbox also got on it’s final island, which just so happens to be the exact same island Mimic got on, and yeah, IT’S RUN ENDED WITH A BANG!!

I have a theory about Punkleton not being on any Outer Islands. You know how the Seasonals went to their islands a year after their introduction, and then they got their Epics a year after that? I feel like it'll be something similar to that. First time around, they'll be added to the Continent. Next year, they'll go to an Outer Island. And a year after that, they get their Prismatics. It makes sense to me at least.
@@marchu- I mean, we've seen seasonals on multiple islands before. Hoola on Earth and Air, Viveine on Amber and Shugabush, Monculus on Ethereal and Wublin. Plus, all the core seasonals are on Gold Island too.

Honestly, I can’t listen to the full magical songs right now with the update, but from what I seen like I want pills improved a lot, plus they added my favourite fire monster( Yelmit ) Most of the magical islands hasn’t changed, but very London improve a little bit.
i honestly didnt think faerie could get any better and this update proved me so wrong, also bowhead finally redeeming himself after his VERY brief sound on Amber was awesome to see: honestly the latest updates barely even feel real but I’m definitely glad they are lol
They left us hanging with Ethereal Workshop 😭 at least we've got major updates with the fire monsters. I'm so glad this update to the tier list is out!
My favourite part of Ethereal Workshop is that a bunch of the monsters are designed by the fans!! Blarret, Auglur and Flasque were designed by fans that got the chance to work as interns for BBB and they feel so fresh (I think Nyehehe was also a fanmade monster?)
I don't want to be annoying but I feel like krillby wasn't talked enough mainly because how krillby dueted with hippity-hop and also how krillby does his little cute dance as hippityhop sings, its golden.
I have a theory that because fire oasis was the only island not updated with the fire expansion that instead it’ll get an extra monster come perplexlore. And of the 6 islands, only 5 quads have been used… so mimic for oasis make that song even more playful why not
I believe Flum Ox is on Bone since it was originally a Fire Island with its Elements. For example, that's why Whaddle's Amber Island is so similar to Banjaw. Anyways, I LOVE Flum Ox on Bone lol... The best addition to Bone imo. Despite that, I think it should have been on Psychic because of it meditating and everything. Speaking of Psychic... Honestly, I've never liked Psychic Island. It's repetitive, and incredibly boring. The Rootitoot verse actually sounds really bad to me, I can't believe it just used to repeat the same thing before the Dipsters. That verse is ASS. Now, Bowhead made the Toe Jammer verses a lot better... but I think it made Rootitoot's verse WORSE. There's no saving that verse, and there's no saving Psychic Island. I'm really glad you liked Light Island's additions, I love them, it was always a contender for my favorite Magical Island but Faerie usually took the spotlight for me. I think I can safely say Light is my favorite now, mostly due to Yelmut... Whizbang leading in to it's yelling just WORKS. It's amazing. Speaking of amazing, this video! Great content as always.

There's a perfectly logical explanation to why these fire nubs are on their islands. When you go on holiday, you want to go to strange and foren worlds. As such, this lot want to go to somewhere they've never really seen before with interesting inhabitants. Exept Candelavra. Wimp.
I’ve noticed that this update improved a lot of peoples opinions of light island and it’s no longer the ugly duckling of magic islands. I just with I had an ungodly amount of relics to improve my light island.
I was already quite a fan of magical islands as a whole, but HOT DANG did the fire expansion bump them up! Especially on Light, which was my favorite to begin with. Yelmut and Drummidary go so hard. Have to agree with you on Candelavra though. Its voice and especially its chord progression are kinda off-putting for where it does play.
bone and fairy island didn't need a lot of change so I'm glad that the monsters didn't feel too out of place. But, psychic and especially light island felt so...incomplete until this update. And now to my own shock, light island has turned from my least favorite to my favorite magical island. Is it repetitive? Yea, but Yelmet makes up for it IN SPADES

fire expansion looked like a joke to me at first but I love it haven didn't change much for me, shame they cut back how much buzzinga plays light (somehow) became even more beautiful and majestic psychics intro is so badass now, love it faerie became such a beautiful and amazing song, definitely moved up for me (also krillby hitting a schmoove) and bone is still great imo, not that impressive of a change but a welcome one. I love flum ox's inclusion, he and kayna work great together

I honestly believe Yelmut fits Light Island more than Flum Ox. Everyone points to Light Island being the calm song, but it has the most intense and loudest verse among the magical islands. In contrast, Bone Island is fairly chill all around, no spot that would fit Yelmut IMO.

Gnarls sounds too positive for bone island and even garls itself. I think bone was the best magical at the start, but as time went on its calm and solemn essence was lost by the additions, while the opposite happened to the other magical islands.
I can sorta agree with the bone island part, but gnarls isn't confined to being a somber vocalist, it's a choir that can sing in basically any style if it so chooses. That's like saying monsters like mammot and bowgart can only play in one style, yet they both play in lots of other ways.
my DOF seasonal prediction goes as following 1st event: Introduced to Cintonent 6 months later (Out Of Season): added to outer island 2nd event: Prismatics that way we have content for DOF spread out next year and have relatively consistent updates rather than just adding them during their holidays

Light island theme is like a mash between a lullaby and a parade. First half of the song is more lullaby but as the song progress you hear horns, drums,loud noises and fire works what you usually hear on parades and as the beat drops its like a lullaby again but with horns of a parade in it.
This update was what light island needed in my opinion. Lack of drums/percussion here have tiawa and drummidary, repetitive? here lets make tiawa play near the beginning and make yelmut and drummidary play together first then later add tiawa back in the end of the climax, "Light island is boring and quiet" well here have Yelmut and Drummidary.
Its like a little of everything that fans want for light island in these three Monster, Im so happy to see everyone loving Light island it really deserves it😁🎉
The reason yelmut is on Light Island is because the magicals were originally supposed to be fire islands and the quads wouldce been:
Yelmut - Light
Edamimi - Psychic
Krillby - Faerie
Flum Ox - Bone
So they wanted to do a homage to it and the other monsters were just picked because woopie!
So what about the other additions?

Light Island has always been my favorite Magical island, and I’m glad to see it getting positive attention. I’ve always been a fan of Light Island despite is harsh criticisms. While others found it to be repetitive and annoying, I’ve always found peace and comfort. But now the inclusion of Yelmut and Drummidary, it not only kept those intact but it also added vigor to it, made it feel victorious. All I got left to say is that they did it, they gave Light Island the chance to really shine!
Honestly, Light Island's Seasonal event should have been what the Island looked like from the start.
If the Island is about Light and the monsters are multi-colored, the rainbow crystals and fireworks just fit it all better than the bland *black and yellow* .
The only Seasonal skin worth buying outside of getting the boosts.
Idk man, Crescendo Moon and Cloverspell skins be lookin fire
one of the quads on each of the magical islands has the elements that the island was originally meant to have when it was a fire island, when they switched the islands to the magical islands the fire quads were replaced, for example yellmut has fire, plant, cold and air (air replaced by light) but they are back now! (which is also the reason yellmut and flum ox are on oppisite islands)

I loved all the new Fire Expansion additions, but Light Island was my favourite, and it might partially be because the devs took the risk with Yelmut and went OFF. Light Island was special to me, and now it's somewhere in my Top 5. BBB is amazing.
I assume that for next years DOF Spooktacle, we'll get Punkelton and the other seasonals on an Outer Island. It would be super weird if it just never grew up and went to an outer island ever. It would be a good way to extend the life of the game too.
Next year could maybe be a "growing up" year, where all of the young Core Seasonals (which would presumably be out by that point) would grow up onto another island. Then, the next year could possibly have that island that was "coming soon" release, but this is just theorising at this point.

I'm really excited for Mimic to come to Fire Oasis (the only Fire Island without a Quint), probably during Perplexplore in May. It's also a great opportunity for Mimic to copy more than one Monster in the same song, giving it more of an identity unto itself than "Fwog 2".
That's what's reasonably likely to happen. My INSANE theory is this:
The Magical Islands each got 2 Fire Quads and 1 Fire Quint added, but Fire Haven and Fire Oasis will only have a Quint when all is said and done. Candelavra is great, but that lone addition was completely overshadowed by the 3 new Monsters on the Magical Islands.
So, if the Natural Quint is being added in Perplexplore, I think it's a fantastic opportunity to mirror the Fire Expansion with a Natural Expansion! Entbrat, Riff, Shellbeat, and Quarrister will journey to Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, balancing them out against the Magical Islands.
Deedge is left out of the party because the pattern established so far is 2 extra Quads to an Island, and Deedge has already gone on a journey to Shugabush Island.
I know this is a bit crazy, but the Fire Expansion was unprecedented in both scope and execution, and with Perplexplore being 6 months apart from Feast-Ember, taking place on the only Fire Island that wasn't expanded, and bringing the Natural Quint to the game, I think it makes sense to do it again!

Only issue: How would you get the Natural Quads and Mimic on Fire Haven/Oasis? Relics represent Fire, and it's not like you can only make them diamonds-exclusive.
Candelevera doesn’t even sound like a vocalist anymore. It’s not bad, but it could have been better. I didn’t have high expectations anyways.
Light island moved from my C tier to A tier. I’m in love with Tiawa’s subtle and calming support. It makes the song feel a lot more personal and nostalgic to me. Yelmut also completely blew me away. It gave the song so much power I didn’t know it needed!
Psychic island was greatly improved by Bowhead. It makes Gloptic’s verse worth listening to imo, but that Rooba verse… it’s so bad. Now it’s like Bowhead’s competing with Rooba. Bowhead’s build up is wasted, the melody sucks, it’s repetitive, it’s bland, Rooba doesn’t even sound PLEASANT, and Rootitoot is at his worst here! Bowhead could save this island, the song just needs a little revamp.
Faerie island just moved to S. No doubt about it. The Froot fly, Tuskski, and Krillby combo is magical. Platty’s good and all, but damn i kind of wish it just let the 3 of them play. Krillby’s second verse is fantastic as well.
Bone’s honestly worse for me. Gnarls is just too off putting and it kind of takes charge of its verse instead of supporting it yknow? Let pekidna thrump and toe-jammer do their jobs! I actually really enjoyed hearing Flum ox though. He’s so catchy and I love his deep voice.
those are some agreeable opinions! i think the only disagreement we have is about Psychic, i like the way Bowhead and Rooba play together. as for Rootitoot.. yeah they’re kinda forgettable. i don’t even notice them half the time.

Hey man! Love your videos. Quick tip, when you're fading the scene in the beginning to black, the one where you're in your bedroom instead of having both your character and background fade out at the same time, make a black png and have that fade in over your scene. That makes fixes the problem of you becoming transparent as it fades away :)

The Continent and Ethereal Workshop are getting updates!
In the Festival of Yay Trailer we see three new monsters! On the Continent we see 2 Monsters never before seen on there, Tuskski and Yool! They both go in the verse with Glowl, Yelmut, Wynq, and Maw!
And then, we go to Ethereal Workshop, where at the very end of the trailer, we see lightning strike, which in turn, shows a Shadow for a brand new workshop monster!
We also get Rare Scargo, Rare Monculus, and Epic Bellowfish!
Edit: Even more updates! We got the Baby Versions of Blabbit and Schmoochle, making the Continent sound… admittedly worse, but then we also got Bowhead, and it is honestly really cool, it’s also on Space Island too!
We also got Flasque, Nitebear, Whaill, Piplash, Vhenshun, X’rt, Pentumbra, Teeter-Tauter, and Rhysmuth on Ethereal Workshop! We’re so close to the finale of Ethereal Workshop, meaning we might be seeing Rares, which is something I honestly don’t know how they’ll pull off! Another thing is that unused verse with Whaill is now in the song! It has every single Ethereal Workshop Monster inside of it, and it’s honestly my favorite verse in, not just Ethereal Workshop, but probably the entire game!
And the big one, Magical Nexus, which was another island teased by Josh Harmon, as we got a teaser for not just Clackula, but also Bonkers, meaning this is an island for all Magical Monsters… except for the Sanctum Monsters… for some reason, but I’m sure we’ll get them eventually!
…aaand we got Mimic in the First Game! Added to Fire Oasis in the Perplexplore 2024 Update, Mimic mimics Spurrit and Gobbleygourd, which is fitting, cuz both of them are silly just like Mimic! I love Mimic’s inclusion!
Oh yeah, Wubbox also got on it’s final island, which just so happens to be the exact same island Mimic got on, and yeah, IT’S RUN ENDED WITH A BANG!!

IMO, the island that benefitted most from the fire expansion was Faerie. It might just be my favourite island now, Tuskski and Krillby sound SO good!

I have a theory about Punkleton not being on any Outer Islands.
You know how the Seasonals went to their islands a year after their introduction, and then they got their Epics a year after that? I feel like it'll be something similar to that. First time around, they'll be added to the Continent. Next year, they'll go to an Outer Island. And a year after that, they get their Prismatics. It makes sense to me at least.

@@marchu- I mean, we've seen seasonals on multiple islands before. Hoola on Earth and Air, Viveine on Amber and Shugabush, Monculus on Ethereal and Wublin. Plus, all the core seasonals are on Gold Island too.

Honestly, I can’t listen to the full magical songs right now with the update, but from what I seen like I want pills improved a lot, plus they added my favourite fire monster( Yelmit ) Most of the magical islands hasn’t changed, but very London improve a little bit.
i honestly didnt think faerie could get any better and this update proved me so wrong, also bowhead finally redeeming himself after his VERY brief sound on Amber was awesome to see: honestly the latest updates barely even feel real but I’m definitely glad they are lol
They left us hanging with Ethereal Workshop 😭 at least we've got major updates with the fire monsters. I'm so glad this update to the tier list is out!

My favourite part of Ethereal Workshop is that a bunch of the monsters are designed by the fans!! Blarret, Auglur and Flasque were designed by fans that got the chance to work as interns for BBB and they feel so fresh (I think Nyehehe was also a fanmade monster?)

I have a theory that because fire oasis was the only island not updated with the fire expansion that instead it’ll get an extra monster come perplexlore. And of the 6 islands, only 5 quads have been used… so mimic for oasis make that song even more playful why not

Faerie island went up from my favourite to my UNDEFATABLE favourite.
I believe Flum Ox is on Bone since it was originally a Fire Island with its Elements. For example, that's why Whaddle's Amber Island is so similar to Banjaw. Anyways, I LOVE Flum Ox on Bone lol... The best addition to Bone imo. Despite that, I think it should have been on Psychic because of it meditating and everything. Speaking of Psychic...
Honestly, I've never liked Psychic Island. It's repetitive, and incredibly boring. The Rootitoot verse actually sounds really bad to me, I can't believe it just used to repeat the same thing before the Dipsters. That verse is ASS. Now, Bowhead made the Toe Jammer verses a lot better... but I think it made Rootitoot's verse WORSE. There's no saving that verse, and there's no saving Psychic Island.
I'm really glad you liked Light Island's additions, I love them, it was always a contender for my favorite Magical Island but Faerie usually took the spotlight for me. I think I can safely say Light is my favorite now, mostly due to Yelmut... Whizbang leading in to it's yelling just WORKS. It's amazing.

10:46 i feel like the only reason they added flum ox into bone island is that befire magicals were planned, flum ox was gonna be the quad for bone island until they scrapped it. Until now. (I think one of its verses in amber island is the verse that was supposed to play on bone island too).
Not just was it based on past plans, they were all fully composed by dave kerr, and yelmut brings back the original sound he composed

faerie - krillby
bone - flum ox
this is the reason for big blue bubble putting yelmut on light and flum ox on bone
I personally think that flum ox fits that verse well enough, also I don't find gnarls off-synchness that bad
There's a perfectly logical explanation to why these fire nubs are on their islands. When you go on holiday, you want to go to strange and foren worlds. As such, this lot want to go to somewhere they've never really seen before with interesting inhabitants. Exept Candelavra. Wimp.
I’ve noticed that this update improved a lot of peoples opinions of light island and it’s no longer the ugly duckling of magic islands. I just with I had an ungodly amount of relics to improve my light island.

I was already quite a fan of magical islands as a whole, but HOT DANG did the fire expansion bump them up! Especially on Light, which was my favorite to begin with. Yelmut and Drummidary go so hard.
Have to agree with you on Candelavra though. Its voice and especially its chord progression are kinda off-putting for where it does play.

I love that they took the risk for light island and added my favorite monsters to it! Light was and Is my favorite island (not including dawn of fire)
bone and fairy island didn't need a lot of change so I'm glad that the monsters didn't feel too out of place. But, psychic and especially light island felt so...incomplete until this update. And now to my own shock, light island has turned from my least favorite to my favorite magical island. Is it repetitive? Yea, but Yelmet makes up for it IN SPADES

I honestly believe Yelmut fits Light Island more than Flum Ox. Everyone points to Light Island being the calm song, but it has the most intense and loudest verse among the magical islands. In contrast, Bone Island is fairly chill all around, no spot that would fit Yelmut IMO.

Gnarls sounds too positive for bone island and even garls itself. I think bone was the best magical at the start, but as time went on its calm and solemn essence was lost by the additions, while the opposite happened to the other magical islands.
I can sorta agree with the bone island part, but gnarls isn't confined to being a somber vocalist, it's a choir that can sing in basically any style if it so chooses. That's like saying monsters like mammot and bowgart can only play in one style, yet they both play in lots of other ways.
Now it's time to do the lost landscapes islands! They sound so good! (My favorite is uh... The weird one... Where the monsters look... Different...)
my DOF seasonal prediction goes as following
1st event: Introduced to Cintonent
6 months later (Out Of Season): added to outer island
2nd event: Prismatics
that way we have content for DOF spread out next year and have relatively consistent updates rather than just adding them during their holidays
