Thanks for the informative video. I had a quick question. I noticed that there are thin rubber strips at each screen hinge. Do you happen to know if they can be easily removed and reinstalled? I noticed that one of mine seems loose. Thanks again!
guys can anyone tell em that is the soldered ram on the m15 r3 upgradable and can we change things like the ram, Wi-Fi card and is it possible for normal computer technicians to flip open the motherboard and attach things on it like ram and Wi-Fi card
Hi Dude, thanks for the video. I want to clean my fans of my m15 but do I have to remove the heatsink and repaste to do this? or can tthe fans be removed without removing heat sink? Thanks in advance
It would be way easier and less likely to damage your hardware if you just use either canned air through the back vents to blast the heatsink and fans out, or remove the bottom case and use a brush and canned air to clean the fans in-place. If you go the easiest route, its best to use short bursts while the fans are running so that the loosened dust and dirt are pushed out immediately.
SellBroke I was just wondering I got this laptop last year and I got the rtx 2060 gpu good gpu but I was planning on getting a 2080 ti later on but I guess I’ll have to buy the 2080 ti and then spend extra $200 for the graphic app
Because of this, I am determining alienware to be garbage. There is zero reason why I have to go through so much to clean the keyboard. Are you kidding me?
@@diwin8967 Sometimes the BIOS settings can allow a fan not to spin until it's needed. Just make sure its connected and any settings within the software or BIOS allow the fan to spin all the time. If it still doesn't work, replace it.
Appreciate the breakdown. Helped us pull out a swollen battery and get it replaced.
my first three screws don't come up 🤔
For some reason the front screws near the mouse won’t come out. They all wobble but there is something keeping it in there.
Some have a backing retainer and don't come out. Otherwise it may be the screw post broke and is still holding onto the screw.
@@Sellbrokedotcom then how do you clean the inside of it out
I had the same issue and I can’t access the inside easily because of them

Extremely useful
I removed the back case to check for dust. When I put it back, my mouse keypad though working is slightly wonky, anyone else encountered this?
Battery should be firstly removed to avoid any short circuit on board.
Why didn't you time stamp?
We’re is the gpu at
After the heatsink is removed at 8:30, its the one on the left surrounded by VRAM chips. It is integrated into the motherboard.
